The paper presents the results of object visualization with the laser monitor system at different distances between the object and the brightness amplifier. In spite of the fact that CuBr-laser active medium has a high gain and works in a saturation mode, an increase in distance leads to a significant reduction of the image contrast. At a distance of more than 4 m the image becomes indistinguishable. To increase the maximum distance between the object and the brightness amplifier the laser monitor with a plane-parallel quartz plate is used. Also theoretical and experimental dependences for the feld of view of the active optical system on the distance between the object and the brightness amplifer (laser monitor, laser projection microscope) have been studied.

The paper presents the results of development of ultra-wideband passing power detectors. The results of modeling the monolithic integrated circuits of the power detectors with low insertion losses are reflected. It compares the characteristics of the models and the experimental data of produced the samples in a frequency range from 10 MHz to 65 GHz and over the 55 dB dynamic range. The insertion losses MMIC of the undirectional detectors are less than 1 dB up to 40 GHz, directional less than 2 dB up to 40 GHz.

Design of a new silicon readout circuit for infrared focal plane array (IR FPA) detectors which, alongside with the formation of thermographic images, offers an additional function of direct measurement of the time of fight of optical signals due to reflected laser pulses is reported. Such multielement IR FPA detectors enable the formation of three-dimensional images (via determination of the distance to the objects), and they form the basis for new-generation IR LIDARs.

The article shows the results of studies of the formation of continuous lengthy seams with the application of rotating welding tool and roller support. Obtained dependences of the process productivity (the speed of seam formation) on the parameters of ultrasonic action (vibration amplitude are in the range of 20...50 μm), the width of the welding tool is from 2...20 mm, the thickness of the materials is 100 μm to 2 mm, pressing force allow design rotating welding tool and develop specialized high-productive equipment for the generation continuous welding seams.

The numerical simulation of the silicon nanowire (SiNW) thinning effect during the low-temperature dry thermal oxidation is carried out. For the simulation the two-dimensional mathematical model of the silicon thermal oxidation were used. It takes into account the dependence of the oxidation rate on mechanical stresses occurring in the structure and silicon dioxide nonlinear viscoelastic behavior. Obtained simulation results were compared with experimental data. The models parameters calibration was carried out.

This paper presents three-phase current source inverter with hysteresis control in voltage source mode. Analysis of the output characteristics of the converter was made. The voltage source mode for current source inverter was considered. A computer model of three-phase current source inverter and control system with hysteresis control was developed. The basic diagrams illustrating working capacity of designed control scheme was received. The basic output characteristics were obtained. Analytical and quantitative assessments were made. A comparison of the output characteristics of current source inverter with hysteresis control in voltage source mode and voltage source inverter with conventional hysteresis control are presented.
