The report describes the technique of sensitivity analysis of quality of electric energy generated by the converter to the fuzziness of setting of it's parameters and control. The technique is based on the use of fuzzy numbers and the principle of generalization Zadeh. The results of the calculation of the fuzzy sensitivity of harmonic distortion factor of output curve of multilevel inverter to the fuzzy settings of switching of voltage levels are represented.

GaAs films were grown with molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) method on Si substrates defected from plane (001) at 6° towards [110]. The processes of epitaxial layers nucleation and growth were controlled with the RHEED method. Investigations of the crystallographic properties of the grown structures were carried out by the methods of X-ray diffractometry and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It is shown that the cyclic annealing and the LT-GaAs layers reduce the density of threading dislocations. The orientation GaAs film and the introduction of dislocation filters have little effect on the crystallographic properties of flms of GaAs/Si (001). It was found that in the LT-GaAs/Si layer the arsenic clusters are formed, as it occurs in the LT-GaAs/GaAs system without dislocation.

There is quantization noise influence discussed in this paper. There is shown error for density and mobility estimating by mobility spectrum method for quantized signal. The digital filter processing is proposed for reducing this error. The proposed method is given better results than signal interpolation.

Questions of the development of a speed-controlled sensorless electric drive based on the thyristor slip recovery system for a wound-rotor motor in case of a higher rotor voltage in comparison with a matching transformer voltage are considered in this paper. The algorithm uses the data of measured currents and voltages of rotor and grid-tie inverter. Results of computational modeling of the suggested system and its implementation have been presented.

This paper shows a modified scheme of a high-voltage buck DC-DC converter. The main characteristics are shown, described operation of a scheme: the external characteristics, the regulation one, the dependence on the harmonics of the input current and the output voltage of the duty cycle. Moreover, it has defined the total power losses and the coefficient of efficiency in this scheme. The comparative analysis is made with characteristics of the two-module converter.

The article describes the model of the interaction of cavitation zone formed under the action of ultrasonic vibrations and interphase boundary of gas and liquid media, which spreads on solid surface in the form of liquid layer. It is shown that this interaction leads to the generation of capillary waves and consequently to the increase of efficiency of physical-chemical processes due to enlarged “liquid-gas” boundary. The analysis of the model allows determining square of interphase surface in dependence on amplitude, frequency of ultrasonic oscillations and liquid properties. It allows to determine the modes of ultrasonic action, which is necessary for maximum increase of contact surface area, in turn it leads to the growth of speed of the realization of physical-chemical processes based on surface interaction of dissimilar substances. As a result of the analysis it was determined that the most appropriate frequency of ultrasonic action is 60 kHz, at which increase of contact surface from 200 to 780 m2/m3 (at 5 mm thickness of liquid flm) can be achieved.

Two new simple printed structures providing low-cost and effective protection against ultrawide band pulses are proposed. The possibility of the 20 times attenuation for the structure of asymmetrical modal filter without resistors is shown. The possibility of the 2.5 times attenuation for another widely spread structure - a widely spread turn of a meander line - is demonstrated. Devices based on the proposed structures will be reliable, cheap and radiation-resistant due to the absence of any components.
