Life time issues in organic light emitting diodes 有机发光二极管的寿命问题

This paper presents different factors that affect the life time of OLEDs. Phosphorent OLEDs were found to exhibit longer lifetime by utilizing triplet states along with the singlets. Interface conditioning and mixed host with double emission layers have been found to improve the life time by preventing the degradation of the interfaces due to electrochemical reactions. Hence charge balance and exciton confinement were found important. Multiline addressing scheme (MAS) for passive matrix OLED displays was also studied and it was found that, minimizing the amplitude of the electrical current flowing through the diodes has a direct impact on the lifetime.

Dual latency operation in VDSL2 with downstream power back off VDSL2中的双延迟操作,下游电源关闭

The main advantage of down stream power back off (DPBO) in VDSL2 is coexistence with ADSL. The ADSL link bit error rate (BER) will not get affected by introducing VDSL2 in the same binder. In this paper we present a new scheme that partitions the tones over the two latency paths based on signal-to-noise (SNR) with DPBO included in the computation. The bit loading is done from the obtained SNR profile using the standard rate adaptive water filling algorithm. The data rate of the VDSL2 system is calculated by realigning the tone loading after accounting for the fractional bits. Simulation results include bit loading pattern and data rates for the two paths with DPBO. It is further implemented on the TMS DSP processor 6713 and results hence obtained are found to match with the simulation results.

Modified auto-calibration for 3D reconstruction from multiple views of an object 修改了从一个对象的多个视图进行3D重建的自动校准

This paper explores the problem of Auto-calibration in 3-D reconstruction of an object from multiple images. Uncalibrated reconstruction, from a set of images taken from any ordinary CCD camera is complicated and difficult due to the presence of non-linear constraints on the scene. Any linear solution suffers from numerical instability or requires additional scene and camera information to be provided. We here present a method of 3-D reconstruction of an object which works without any additional camera parameters by modification of Auto-calibration procedure. The DIAC, computed by the Auto-calibration method is not always positive-definite and metric reconstruction cannot be performed. We approximate DIAC by its covariance square-root, guaranteeing its positive definiteness. This is compared with a few other closest positive definite solutions using a rigidity constraint, and is found to be quite satisfactory.

Spectral sensing for cognitive radio: Estimation of adaptive frequency hopping signal 认知无线电的频谱传感:自适应跳频信号的估计

Based on the modeling frequency hopping spread spectrum signal it can be shown that parametric methods of line spectral analysis is well suited for detection and estimation of low probability of intercept frequency hopping signals if the issues of order and time localization are resolved. The detection and estimation problem becomes more complex if frequency hopping is adaptive in nature. An algorithm using line spectra parameter estimation and wavelet based transient detection has been proposed which resolves above issues in computationally efficient manner suitable for implementation in cognitive radio. The simulation show promising results proving that adaptive frequency hopping signals can be detected and demodulated in a non cooperative context, even at a very low signal to noise ratio in almost real time.

0.4V CMOS based low power voltage controlled ring oscillator for medical applications 医疗用0.4V CMOS低功率压控环形振荡器

In this paper, a two-stage voltage controlled ring oscillator has been designed, analyzed and verified by simulations with 0.18 mum technology. This voltage controlled ring oscillator uses partial positive feedback in its each stage, which allows the circuit to operate with only two stages. It only consumes 4.98 mW in its central frequency of 1.90 GHz using a 1.5 V power supply. Further, voltage controlled ring oscillator circuit is designed with bulk-drain connected load in the sub-threshold region. By connecting the bulk and drain terminals of PMOS, it exhibits a more linear IDS-VDS characteristic and therefore it can be conveniently used as loads for sub-threshold circuits. By using this load, VCO can be operated at low supply voltage. Further, it has been depicted from the analysis and simulation results that the power consumption of the VCO has been reduced to a great extent. The maximum power consumption of the circuit is 3.2 nW using 0.4 V power supply and oscillating frequency is 170 kHZ.These characteristics are highly attractive for its use in ultra low power applications particularly in medical applications.

Measurement of axial leakage flux for the detection of winding deformation in transformer 变压器绕组变形检测中轴向漏磁通的测量

This paper aims at describing a method for the detection of winding deformation in transformer based on the measurement of axial leakage flux. Theoretical background for the proposed method is presented from the fundamental principles. The method is validated through experiments conducted on a specially designed jumping ring model that demonstrates winding deformation in a simple and an effective manner.

Control of grid connected PV cell distributed generation systems 并网光伏电池分布式发电系统的控制

This paper presents modeling, controller design, and simulation study of a grid connected Photovoltaic (GCPV) distributed generation (DG) system. The overall configuration of the grid connected photovoltaic DG system are present. The dynamic models for the GCPV power plant and its power electronic interfacing are described. Controller design methodologies for the control of power flow from the photovoltaic cell power plant to the utility grid are also presented. A Matlab/Simulink based simulation model is developed for the GCPV DG system by combining the individual component models and the controllers design. Simulation results are presented to show the overall system performance.

Dynamic interface selection using policy routing for multihoming in mobile router with dual interfaces 双接口移动路由器中基于策略路由的动态接口选择

To support mobile/wireless networking environment, we consider a mobile router which is connected via dual interfaces with WiBro (i.e., Mobile WiMAX) and high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) in a moving vehicle. The mobile router can support multihoming features using the extended version of mobile IP (MIP) protocol for multiple interfaces. In our multihoming environment, we propose the dynamic interface selection mechanism using policy routing to provide redundancy and fault tolerance. The proposed mechanism decides the preference of interfaces and checks the availability of selected interface in dynamic interface selection agent. Our proposal aims to achieve benefits of interface selection according to flow characteristics and automatic interface reestablishment against link failure, etc. We also show some experimental results.

Tabu based back propagation algorithm for performance improvement in communication channels 基于禁忌的通信信道性能改进反向传播算法

This paper presents a new approach to equalization of communication channels using artificial neural networks (ANNs). A novel method of training the ANNs using Tabu based back propagation (TBBP) algorithm is described. The algorithm uses the Tabu search (TS) to improve the performance of the equalizer as it searches for global minima which is many a time escaped while back propagation (BP) algorithm is applied for this purpose. From the results it can be noted that the proposed algorithm improves the classification capability of the ANNs in differentiating the received data.

Stereo camera calibration using real coded genetic algorithm 立体摄像机标定使用真实编码遗传算法

In this paper, the problem of obtaining calibration parameters for a stereo camera system is considered. A real coded genetic algorithm is used to solve this problem. The solution of extrinsic and intrinsic parameters of the left and right cameras are encoded in the vectors of real numbers. The Laplace crossover and power mutation operators are used to obtain next generation of the solutions. The solutions are obtained using three different numbers of control points. The robustness of proposed approach is checked in the presence of image pixel noise. Encouraging results are obtained in terms of robustness and accuracy.
