An align-insensitive through-wafer-via for wafer-stacked structure 用于晶圆堆叠结构的对线不敏感通孔

An interconnection scheme which has the merits of align-insensitivity and wafer bonding compatibility is suggested for wafer stacked structure with the silicon through-wafer-via. The interconnection structures in the previous works using a prominent copper solder and metal reflow technique have alignment problems when wafers are bonded for stacking. The suggested modified interconnection scheme prevents from alignment problems by improving prominent copper solder structure and filling method of trench isolation in thorugh-wafer-via. The suggested interconnection structure is fabricated to show feasibility and mechanical wafer warpage is investigated.

Design of NAT traversal for mobile PPC applying hole punching technology 应用冲孔技术的移动PPC NAT穿越设计

Mobile peer-to-peer communication (mobile PPC) is a mobility protocol that enables mobility with only end nodes in an IPv4 network. It is assumed that a mobile node moves between a global network and a private network in the IPv4 network during communication. In the existing mobile PPC, communication cannot be maintained when a mobile node moves if a network address translator (NAT) exists on the communication path because the IP address of the packet is translated by the NAT. This paper presents a NAT traversal scheme to solve the above-mentioned problem by applying the principle of hole punching technology to mobile PPC.

CAG: A Component Architecture Graph 组件架构图

This paper proposes a graph-based approach for the specification of component-based architectures. We have proposed Component Architecture Graph (CAG), a new graphical model for representing UML component diagram. A set of metrics has been defined based on this graph, which will help in measuring several architectural aspects of a system. A case study is presented for presenting the new graphical model and analysis based on the metrics has been discussed.

Artificial intelligence approach to test vector reordering for dynamic power reduction during VLSI testing 面向VLSI测试动态降功耗的测试矢量重排序的人工智能方法

As the feature size is scaled down with process technology advancement, power minimization has become a serious problem for the designers as well as the test engineers. Test vector reordering for dynamic power minimization during combinational circuit testing is a sub-problem of the general goal of low power testing. In this paper we have proposed an AI-based approach to order the test vectors in an optimal manner to minimize switching activity during testing. Empirically, the proposed algorithm yields on an average of about 22% reduction in switching activity over that given by a standard ATPG tool Synopsis TetraMax, which is also more than the reduction after applying existing Chained Lin-Kernighan heuristic.

USIng mobile devices for educational services-a case study of student expectations 使用移动设备进行教育服务——学生期望的案例研究

After centuries of little change, the teaching and learning in Thai universities is on the verge of taking a giant leap forward. New and emerging pedagogies are harnessing the power of Internet and communication technologies (ICT) at a very fast pace. New trends in eLearning and mLearning are bringing about dramatic changes in the higher educational landscape, transforming the breadth, depth, quality and opportunities for learning from anywhere for any one and at any time. In spite of the fact that a large number of students own and use mobile devices there is a very little use of the various sophisticated features of this wireless technology in education. This paper is based on a recent survey conducted at Assumption University of Thailand to gauge the opinion of students about usage of mobile devices for their education. Using the results of the survey this paper investigates into the expectations of students in Assumption University for enhanced ICT services for mobile devices. It also provides two recommendations for improving student services for mobile devices at Assumption University.

Fractal feature based ECG arrhythmia classification 基于分形特征的心电心律失常分类

We propose a method for the classification of ECG arrhythmia using local fractal dimensions of ECG signal as the features to classify the arrhythmic beats. The heart beat waveforms were extracted within a fixed length window around the R-peak of the signal and local fractal dimension is calculated at each sample point of the ECG waveform. The method is based on matching these fractal dimension series of the test ECG waveform to that of the representative ECG waveforms of different types of arrhythmia, by calculating Euclidean distances or by calculating the correlation coefficients. The performance of the classifier was tested on independent MIT-BIH arrhythmia database. The achieved performance is represented in terms of the percentage of correct classification (found to be 99.49% on an average). The performance was found to be competitive to other published results. The current classification algorithm proved to be a computationally efficient and hence a potential technique for automatic recognition of arrhythmic beats in ECG monitors or Holter ECG recorders.

Unbalanced distribution system short circuit analysis — an Object-Oriented Approach 不平衡配电系统短路分析——一个面向对象的方法

A new object-oriented design (OOD) for unbalanced distribution system is proposed and employed for developing short circuit analysis software. The difficulty associated with the procedure-oriented implementation of short circuit analysis program is overcome with a new object-oriented implementation. The purpose of using object-oriented methodology (OOM) for unbalanced distribution system is to achieve a flexible software model for the complex nature of the system involving three phase, two-phase and single-phase components. Considerable reduction in the programming complexity can be obtained by the proposed method. The method was successfully tested on benchmark systems like IEEE 13-bus and IEEE 34-bus systems.

D.C. motor speed controller design through a colony of honey bees 直流电机调速控制器的设计通过一群蜜蜂

In this paper, a novel optimization method based on the foraging behavior of a colony of honey bees in nature is proposed. An optimization model for the controller design for speed control of D.C. motor is developed and solution is sought through bees foraging algorithm. The proposed method is compared with traditional and Genetic Algorithm (GA) based controller designs and it is shown that the new dispensation is superior to conventional method and is on a par with GA.

Partial parallel interference cancellation based edge assisted classical decorrelator (EACD-PPIC) 基于部分平行干涉消除的边缘辅助经典去相干器

Edge-assisted decorrelators are useful in realization of asynchronous CDMA reception with considerably low complexity and low detection delay. However the one-shot decorrelator, which is used to assist the signal detection in edge- assisted decorrelators, put constraint on the number of users that are supported. An edge assisted classical decorrelator (EACD) is reported in literature for improved performance against multiuser interference in asynchronous CDMA. In this paper a multistage partial parallel interference cancellation (PPIC) with an idea of one shot is proposed to use for edge estimations in EACD. The proposed scheme improves the performance and user capacity of EACD in asynchronous CDMA systems.

A comparative study of speaker adaptation methods 说话人适应方法的比较研究

For the problem of speaker adaptation in speech recognition, the performance depends on the availability of adaptation data. In this paper, we have compared several existing speaker adaptation methods, viz. maximum likelihood linear regression (MLLR), eigenvoice (EV), eigenspace-based MLLR (EMLLR), segmental eigenvoice (SEV) and hierarchical eigenvoice (HEV) based methods. We also develop a new method by modifying the existing HEV method for achieving further performance improvement in a limited available data scenario. In the sense of availability of adaptation data, the new modified HEV (MHEV) method is shown to perform better than all the existing methods throughout the range of operation except the case of MLLR at the availability of more adaptation data.
