Contextualising Participant Factions in the Second Zulu Civil War of 1856 and It’s Consequences up to 1861 1856年第二次祖鲁内战的参与派别及其直到1861年的后果

The Second Zulu Civil War of 1856, commonly known as the Battle of Ndondakusuka, has been the subject of a number of historical interpretations. Different scholars give different accounts of the battle. Most historians differ on the root causes of the battle. Some attribute it to white imperialists who manipulated scenes and used the weakness of King Mpande to cause the war. According to this opinion, the Natal government entered the succession issue in an attempt to provide itself with a new “reserve” of land between the Thukela and Mhlathuze Rivers. Other sources point King Mpande as the one responsible for the clash between Princes Cetshwayo and Mbuyazi. The land issue and power also played a role in the outbreak of hostilities between princes. It is therefore apparent that different factions played a role in the outbreak of this war. So, this paper aims at contextualising various role-players towards that conflict and consequences thereafter.

Multidisciplinary Education—Bridging Physics to Life Sciences In Introductory College Labs 多学科教育-在入门大学实验室中架起物理与生命科学的桥梁

A simple circuit that produces a voltage pulse analogous to the pulse generated in the neuron was developed. This circuit is suitable for an introductory physics lab experiment to improve students understanding of applications to real life. By including a simple description of how neurons send electrical signals, a direct connection is made between physics and the human body. This is especially relevant to students pursuing careers in biology, medicine, and other pre-health areas, but also important to any student who is curious about the role physics plays outside of the lab.

My Sister 我的妹妹

As aspects of objectivity, emphasis on accuracy and ethical neutrality are the foundation for any credible “scientific” research. In the fields of social sciences, the altering, hiding, or mistaking of facts would lead only to confusion and diminished ability in addressing problems that beset the wellness of a social group. Consequently, all aspects of the present study are based on original Arabic texts.One ignored (sometimes deliberately concealed) aspect of the social life of Arab peoples is the “Brother-Sister Syndrome”. Its core component is the love between a brother and his sister and hostility between husband and wife. The syndrome is portrayed in a myriad of forms of traditional expressions including folktales, songs and jokes, as well as actual patterns of social interaction within the family. The present short story by a prominent novelist represents a case of elite literary creativity. Yet, it conforms to the attributes of the Brother-Sister Syndrome. In this respect, it shares the same narrative core of the Trilogy by Nigeeb Mahfouz, a Nobel Laureate novelist. The affective core of the Trilogy is the love of a young boy for his beautiful sister, and the fact that he is traumatized by her marriage and moving away. Having spied on her during the consummation of her marriage, he later in life associates this mental image of his sister in bed during that event with the consummation of marriage of an unattainable aristocrat maiden, CAydah Shaddad. A recent report deceptively ignores these salient facts. Thus, the Brother-Sister bond was totally missed and any opportunity to explore this critical psychosocial phenomenon was lost.

Parental Involvement and Children’s Academic Achievement: In the Case of Some Selected Government Primary Schools Bahirdar City, Ethiopia 父母参与与儿童学业成绩:以埃塞俄比亚巴希尔达尔市一些选定的政府小学为例

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between parental involvement and academic achievement of children in some selected full cycle government primary schools of Bahirdar city. To achieve this objective, 180 sample students were selected by using simple random sampling technique. The collected data was analyzed through, spearman correlation, analysis of variance and independent-test. The finding of the study revealed that the statistical analysis on independent t-test showed that there was a statistically significant difference between male and female students with regard to their academic achievement (t=6.25, df = 178, p<0.05). The finding of spearman correlation indicates that there was significant relationship between parental involvement and academic achievement of students (r=.56, p <.05). The result on one way ANOVA displayed that there was statistical significant difference among respondents academic achievement with regard to their parental level of education (F 2, 176) = 17.084, P<0.05. In conclusion, parental involvement is positively correlated with academic achievement of students and males have better academic performance than their female counter parts.

The Unity of Knowledge and Action: Professional Degrees in a Flexible Organization of Viewpoint—Research on Graduate Students’ Entrepreneurship Education 知识与行动的统一:柔性组织中的专业学位——研究生创业教育研究

With the rapid expansion of the scale of professional degree graduate, how to carry out entrepreneurship education of professional degree graduates becomes an urgent problem. The current entrepreneurship education of college students generally has the drawbacks of the separation of knowledge and practice, which is rooted in the disconnections of the traditional entrepreneurship education under the “rigid” organizational system. The flexible organization theory, combined with the characteristics of graduate professional degree, to build the mode of “the Unity of Knowledge and Action” of graduate professional degree based on flexible organization, contributing to the realization of professional degree of entrepreneurship education of “the combination of professional and innovative , motivation and action, academic and industry”.
随着专业学位毕业生规模的迅速扩大,如何对专业学位毕业生进行创业教育成为一个亟待解决的问题。当前大学生创业教育普遍存在知识与实践分离的弊端,其根源在于传统创业教育在“刚性”组织体制下的脱节。运用柔性组织理论,结合研究生专业学位的特点,构建了基于柔性组织的研究生专业学位“知行合一”模式,有助于实现“专业与创新、动力与行动、学术与产业相结合”的专业学位创业教育。
