Background: About Thirty-five percent of women have severe low back pain after delivery. Phonophoresis is effective in treating acute and chronic back pain. Aim of Study: This study was conducted to compare between the efficacy of Phonophoresis and Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) on low back pain after delivery. Patients and Methods: This study was carried out on Forty multiparous women suffering from severe Low back Pain For at Least 3 months after delivery. They were selected randomly from the outpatient clinic of orthopedic of Zagazig University Hospitals. Their ages were ranged from 25-35 years old; their body mass index (BMI) didn’t exceed 30 kg/m 2 and their parity was ranged from (2-4) children. All participants were experienced normal delivery or cesarean section. All patients were divided randomly into 2 groups equal in number, group (A) & group (B). Group (A) received Ketoprofen phonophoresis on her lower back for 10 minutes, 3 times/week for 8 weeks, while group (B) received transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation on her lower back (With frequency 80-120 HZ, pulse width 200 us with low intensity) for 30 minutes, 3 times/week for 8 weeks. Low back pain was evaluated by visual analogue scale (VAS) and serotonin level in blood plasma before and after treatment. Results: The results of this study revealed that, both groups (A&B) showed statistically ( p -value <0.001) significant decrease in VAS scores and increase in serotonin level in blood plasma after treatment, but the percent of decrease in pain sensation and percentage of increase in serotonin level were more pronounced and more noticeable in (group A) when compared to group (B). This means that, phonophoresis was more effective than TENS in relieving low back pain after delivery. Conclusion: Phonophoresis is more effective than TENS treating low back pain after delivery.

Background: Breast cancer is a heterogenous disease with different molecular subtypes. Each molecular subtype has its own prognosis and management. Identifying this molecular subtype is necessary to allow individualized patient treatment. CESM has the potential to non-invasively differentiate the various molecular subtypes of breast cancer. In this manner it can provide information about the tumoras a wholenot just the biopsied part of the tumor. Aim of Study: Assess Contrast enhanced spectral mammography as a non-invasive imaging tool in predicting molecular subtypes of breast cancer and tumor grade. Patients and Methods: This study includes 95 female patients with 98 breast lesions in the time period from January 2021 to February 2022. All breast lesions were assessed by Digital mammography and ultrasound, followed by contrast mammography. Biopsy was then performed (BIRADS 4&5) to identify the pathologic type and tumor grade followed by immunohistochemistry to identify the molecular subtype of each tumor. The dominant feature of each molecular subtype on contrast mammography was recorded regarding lesion morphology (mass/distortion/asymmetry/pathological microcal-cification/lesion margins) and pattern of enhancement. Results: Chi square ( x 2) test shows a significant association between lesion margins and the various molecular subtypes of breast cancer ( p =0.014). It also shows a significant association between molecular subtype and tumor grade ( p =0.018). However, the enhancement pattern didn't reflect a significant association to the molecular subtypes ( p =0.101 for mass enhancement and 0.419 for NME)

Patients and Methods: It was a prospective study, a total of 30 malaria patients >15 years of age who presented in Al Gamhouria Teaching Hospital and a private clinic in Aden City Southwest of Yemen, over a period of one year, Between (June 2022to June 2023), rapid diagnostic test used for malaria diagnosis, clinical examination and other laboratory tests to identify severe malaria complications with focusing on cerebral malaria, hepatic and renal impairment were performed at the hospital and the clinic. Results: During the study period, 30 patients were enrolled, (83%) of cases were male while (17%) being female, mean age was (30 – 15.2) years, (50%) of patients belonging to the age group of (26-35) years, (80%) came from rural area while (20%) came from urban area, Fever was the most common symptoms of malaria (93%) cerebral malaria was the most common complication (30%), recovered patients was (83%) while dead patients (17%). Conclusion: This study concluded that the majority of patients were male and came from rural area, fever was the most common symptoms while cerebral malaria was the most common complication.
