Variations of electron density in the regional middle latitude D-region of the ionosphere, conditioned by the morning solar terminator during magnetic storm of the 7–11th of november, 2004 2004年11月7日至11日磁暴期间,以太阳晨光终止为条件的区域中纬度d区电离层电子密度变化

The results of experimental investigations by the partial reflection radar of the electron density variations in the middle latitude ionospheric D-region during the morning solar terminator passage in the period of the magnetic storm dated the 7-11th of November, 2004, are presented. There was found the increase of the electron density more than 200% both in the period of the morning solar terminator passage and during tens min after this event. To explain such events a hypothesis concerning electron precipitations from the magnetosphere stimulated by the morning solar terminator is used. There were made estimations of the ionization rate. On the basis of the experimental data of electron density changes over the electron precipitation periods, corresponding fluxes were estimated, being p ≈ (0.6-8.8) 109 m-2 sec-1.

Characteristic properties of forming of virtual cathode in canular relativistic electron beam 管状相对论电子束中虚阴极形成的特征性质

Processes of forming of the virtual cathode (VC) in the canular relativistic electron beam (REB) in the external magnetic field are analyzed numerically with the help of 3D electromagnetic model. It was discovered that dynamics of VC in the system is determined by the value of external magnetic field and by the features of physical processes in the REB.

A method of rapid determination of gas pressure value, which provides the most favorable conditions for microwave plasma chemical processing at low vacuum, is developed. The method is based on the characteristic property of microwave plasma materials processing which consists in pulsation nature of microwave discharge.

The results of the autodyne features for double-diode oscillator on Gunn diodes affected by the own reflected signal are presented. The main characteristics of such autodyne are considered oriented to the application in short-range radar systems. The brief description of the autodyne sensor for the determination of the loco movement parameters which is made on the basis of the double-diode autodyne.

Technology of adjustment of PAA with wide-angle scan 广角扫描调整PAA的技术

This report submits the practical approach to the initial alignment of the phased-array antennas (PAA) with the wide-angle scan which ensures PAA performances close to potentially accessible. The conditions and methods required for PAA initial adjustment, measurements, automatic diagnostics and performance monitoring are described. Some practical aspects of technology of alignment taking into account constructive peculiarities of PAA, measurement restrictions and results of simulation and the real measurements are presented to demonstrate the utility of the proposed technique.

Cavity methods of investigation of gas and condensed medium in MM AND SubMM ranges MM和SubMM范围内气体和冷凝介质的空腔研究方法

For MM and SubMM ranges, on the basis of high-quality Fabry-Perot resonator the original precision methods of investigation are discussed: atmospheric absorption, including continuum absorption; radiant reflectance of metals; refraction index and loss tangent of dielectrics, including films and liquids. The methods of measurement are absolute ones and self“calibrated” that means it is not necessary to use the prior information. Concrete values are calculated on the basis of measuring of adjustment frequency and line width of empty and loaded resonator. The temperature range is 80 K-900 K for investigation of condensed medium; for atmospheric - from -30 C up to +60 C and at humidity - 0%-80%. The measurement results of latest polymeric materials are presented.

The coaxial klinoorotron with inhomogeneous focusing magnetic field in which the klinotron effect is applied to improve the efficiency of energy exchange between the tubular electron beam and electromagnetic field of the open coaxial cavity is investigated. It is shown that in this device with double electron optics at f0 = 100 GHz and at V0 = 2,8 kV, B0max ~ 0,4...0,436 T, B0min = 0,266...0,338 T, I0 = 3...10 A of relatively thick double electron beams (Δr/r0 = 0,01) the efficiency 10... 18 % is achieved.

Current distribution in radial impedance monopole on spherical scatterer 球面散射体上径向阻抗单极子的电流分布

In the present report the solution of the problem of electrical current distribution along thin radial impedance monopole, located on perfectly conducting sphere, has been found in pure electrodynamical statement. The approximate analytical solution of the integral equation has been obtained by the method of iterations both for the case of excitation of the monopole by a δ-generator of voltage, located at finite distance over the spherical scatterer, and at the excitation of the monopole at its basis.
