Magnetic field tuning characteristics of a single-crystal barium hexaferrite dielectric resonator in the frequency range 75-110 GHz are reported. The dielectric resonances occur at a much higher frequency than the ferromagnetic resonance. It is shown that the degeneracy in the dielectric mode is lifted with an applied magnetic field H and that the modes can be tuned by 10 GHz or more with H. The dielectric modes are of importance for the realization of low-loss devices, including resonators, isolators and phase shifters.

Analysis of different shapes of the curve of ferromagnetic resonance in the process of investigation of a structure of electromagnetic field of a transmission line with unmatched load was carried out. By example of analytical study of a ferrite resonator in the evanescent waveguide it was shown that amplitude of magnetic field strength of right-hand circular polarization in the location area of a measuring probe had corresponded to total deviation of the curve of ferromagnetic resonance versus unperturbed value.

Meter features of radar characteristics of vessels in conditions of testing ground are considered. Sevastopol was chosen as a training ground. It was established in the end of previous century, but its technical and methodical levels correspond to the most modern requirements. Thus the experience practice and devised techniques might be used on other testing grounds in the world. The main stress is given to the problems of measurement of detectability of ships and radar images in the X-wave band. The measurement data is presented and its accuracy is analyzed.

The characteristics of a submillimetric-wave cold-cathode magnetron oscillator (SubMMO) operating on the first positive spatial π-mode oscillation harmonic are analytically modeled using the drift-orbital resonances and 3-D simulation. The results of this procedure are presented in the short report below. The distinguishing features of the nonlinear dynamics of electron-wave interaction between synchronous electrons and electromagnetic field. It is shown that using such a magnetron makes it possible generate pulses with HF-power magnitude varying from hundreds of mWs to tens of Watts.

In the present work the technical solution of a problem of wireless access to the information resources over the territory of Ukraine, including the rural areas. The area of coverage consists of two areas. The first area operates in the center of the region (urban and marginal development) and data transmission is supported by the channels of wireless access with multi-frequency modulation. The service zone of rural areas includes channels with single-frequency modulation. The offered technical solution allows covering of basic services of communication of data and digital television over the territory of Ukraine. The system might be executed in different configurations depending on the claimed services in the certain region.

Method of formation of regular PAA without a barrier layer in the process of anodizing of Al-film on n-type Si has been developed. Semiconductor InGaN-structures were selectively grown in modified PAA-template by MO VPE. Formed self-organized nanostructures InGaN have nonpolar crystallographic α-orientation. Investigations of luminescent properties and analysis of the spectral characteristics have been performed.

In experimental microwave sources based on spin-torque magnetic nano-structures (MNS) the power is extracted as oscillation of the device magnetoresistance (MR). The goal of our work is to evaluate the magnitude of the microwave power that can be extracted from a MNS through the oscillating dipolar fields when the MNS is coupled to different microwave systems, and to compare this power with the power that can be extracted through the traditional MR mechanism. We demonstrate that, although for a single MNS the MR mechanism is much more efficient than the direct dipolar electromagnetic emission, the latter mechanism can have a significant advantage in the case of a sufficiently large array of synchronized MNS placed in a microwave resonator.
