Lamivudinecomes underclass II drugs according to BCS classification. It is poorly water-soluble drug. It has maximum solubility in pH 1.2 and therefore it will be beneficial to retain the drug in stomach for longer period of time for better absorption. Hence, it was found necessary to develop a gastric retentive dosage form containing Lamivudinein order to increase the gastric residence time to enhance its absorption and they’re by its oral bioavailability. Also, the slow release of the drug in stomach may avoid the stomach pain associated with immediate release of the drug. The ultimate aim was to design, develop and optimize the floating tablets containing Lamivudinein order to increase its gastric retention time for enhancing absorption in stomach as well as to produce a controlled release of the drug for a longer time using polymers such as Carbopol, and EudragitS100.

According to WHO, the definition of ideal mental health is not about absence of mental diseases or psychological problems. It is state of well-being in which the individual realizes his orher own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his/her community. In present paper core of focus is about the stresses and burnout situations to which a health professionals encountered in his/her daily routine. And how these things affect his/her mental and social wellness and what is the role of counselling in it. For the same in-depth interview has been performed by counsellor with 5 doctors. Content of the interview was comprehensive enough to ask about the basic interests, journey of becoming a successful professional and the kinds of problems the subjects face. Counsellor has emphasised on some important domains such as Drive, Collaboration, Humanity, Temperance, Humility and Accountability.Investigator has observed that counselling extends ability of judgment in the subjectin a positive manner. And its makes subject contextually aware, cognitively simpler, analytical, decisive, critical thinker, insightful and adaptable. This as a result helps the professional to make a better work life balance.

Effective targeted drug delivery systems have been a dream for a long time, but it has been largely frustrated by the complex chemistry that is involved in the development of new systems. The invention of nanosponges has become a significant step towards overcoming these problems. Nanosponges are tiny sponges with a size of about a virus, which can be filled with a wide variety of drugs. These tiny sponges can circulate around the body until they encounter the specific target site and stick on the surface and begin to release the drug in a controlled and predictable manner. Nanosponges can be referred to as solid porous particles having a capacity to load drugs and other actives into their nanocavity; they can be formulated as oral, parenteral, topical or inhalation dosage forms. Because the drug can be released at the specific target site instead of circulating throughout the body it will be more effective for a particular given dosage. Another important character of these sponges is their aqueous solubility; this allows the use of these systems effectively for drugs with poor solubility. In this, application of nanosponges, methods of preparation, evaluation parameter have been discussed.

Assessment of memory and learning in animal models has been extensively employed in scientific research. Among many disorders, inthis article, we emphasise anoverall review of memory-related problems like those representing diseases with primary processes of affected memory –such as amnesia, dementia, brain ageing, neurodevelopment, trauma, epilepsy and neuropsychiatric disorders, etc. Toxic effects of specific drugs and other exploring are often responsible for these conditions. There is a diversification of experimental methods assessing animal learning and memory skills. We have many memories assessment models today to test memory along with maze in rodents; there are also other several types of them, but their real usefulness, advantages and applications stay to be completely settled and rely upon the specific variation chosenby the experimenter. The point of the current article is first, to momentarily audit the collected information concerning spatial memory tasks; second, to welcome the reader data on the various types of memory diseases in rodents; and third, to elucidate the usefulness and limitations of different available plant sources to treat memory and learning disorders.

Gastro retentive drug delivery systems have been widely used to prolong retention of dosage forms in stomach. Among the various approaches, the floating bilayer tablets formulation offers sustained drug release as well as prolonged gastric retention, along with the added advantage of liquid oral dosage form. The present study was an attempt to formulate and evaluate floating bilayer tablets of Epleronone by using various polymers like guar gum, ethyl cellulose, SSG, CCS. The prepared floating Bilayered tablets were evaluated for hardness, Weight variation, thickness, friability, drug content uniformity, and in-vitro dissolution studies. Based on various evaluation parameters formulation F3 (IR) & F12 (SR) was selected as optimized formulation. From the above floating buoyancy studies shows that F12 shows higher Total floating time than other formulations. It was observed that Formulations F3 (IR) & F12 (SR) gave maximum drug release within time. All formulations were subjected for drug release kinetics studies viz. Zero order, first order, Higuchi matrix, Peppas model equations and the formulations of sustained release (SR) formulations followed zero order release with non-fickian diffusion mechanism.

A simple, specific and accurate reverse phase high performance liquid chromatographic method was developed for the simultaneous determination Meropenemand Vaborbactaminpharmaceutical dosage form. The column used was KromosilC18(150mm x 4.6 mm, 5m)in isocratic mode, with mobile phase containing phosphatebufferandacetonitrile (45:55v/v). The buffer is prepared by adding accurately weighed 1.36gm of PotassiumdihyrogenOrtho phosphate in a 1000ml of Volumetric flask add about 900ml of milli-Q water added and degasto sonicate and finally make up the volume with water then pH adjusted to 5.0with dil. Orthophosphoric acid solution. The flow rate was 1.0ml/ min and effluents were monitored at 260nm. The retention times of Meropenemand Vaborbactamwere found to be 2.299 min and 3.102 min, respectively. The linearity for Meropenemand Vaborbactamwere in the range of 25-150μg/mland 25-150 μg/ml respectively. Regression equation of Meropenem is y = 4826.x + 2593, and y = 4887.x + 6194 of Vaborbactamrespectively. The proposed method was validated and successfully applied to the estimation of Meropenemand Vaborbactamin combined tablet dosage forms.
