Background: During pregnancy, there are usually a lot of complaints or discomforts that are common. One of them is back pain that occurs in third-trimester pregnant women. One effort to deal with back pain complaints is prenatal yoga. Prenatal yoga can flex the muscles around the spine and flexibility of the body. Result: The results showed that before doing Prenatal Yoga trimester III pregnant women experienced moderate pain as many as 31 people (96.9%) while after doing Prenatal Yoga became mild pain as many as 29 people (90.6%). The statistical test used in this study is the Wilcoxon test and the significance value p = 0.00 (p> 0.05) means that there are significant differences in back pain before and after prenatal yoga. Using the result of this study, it is hoped that prenatal yoga techniques can be applied specifically to overcome complaints of back pain in third-trimester pregnant women. Method: This study uses the One Group Pre Test-Posttest design using experimental methods. The sample in this study was third-trimester pregnant women who experienced back pain with a large sample of 32 respondents. This sample was taken using the Total Sampling method and the measuring instrument used was the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is the effectiveness of prenatal yoga on back pain in trimester III pregnant women.

Caesarean section labor causes discomfort in the area of the surgery scar. One of the condition that cause patient discomfort is pain. Pain management can be done with a combination of pharmacology and nonpharmacology farmakologi. One of the non-pharmacological therapy that are good in reducing post cesarean section pain is to use lavender essential oil. This study was conducted to determine the effect of lavender essential oil on post caesarean section pain in The Sekayu District General Hospital in 2020. This study used Pre-exeperimental designwih one group pretest postest approach, the sampling technique used purposive sampling, with a sample of 30 respondents. Before being given Lavender Essential Oil, here were 29 respondents (96,7%) who experienced moderate pain dan 1 respondent who experienced mild pain (3,3%) then after being given Lavender Essential Oil there was a reduction in the level of pain with 29 respondents at mild pain levels (96,7%) and 1 respondent at moderate pain levels (3,3%). Mc Nemar test result showed ρ value = 0,000 (ρ value < (0,05)), wich means that there is an effect of Lavender Essential Oil on post caesarean section at Sekayu District General Hospital in 2020. To overcome post caesareansection midwives are expected to provide easy and safe mehods, one of them by using Lavender Essential Oil

ABSTRACT Background: In Indonesia and even the world is experiencing the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. This can cause anxiety and have a negative impact on the psychology of pregnant women. Autogenic Relaxation is a form of mind body intervention, originating from within oneself that can make the mind calm, making motivational words or sentences done by imagining oneself in a calm and peaceful state, focusing on heart rate and breathing regulation can reduce anxiety levels pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic. Objective: To determine the Effect of Autogenic Relaxation Techniques on Anxiety Levels of Pregnant Women During the Covid-19 Pandemic At BPM Meli Rosita Palembang in 2021. Results: Statistical test results Anxiety levels before and after being given treatment with Autogenic relaxation techniques (Treatment Group) obtained p-value 0.001 (<0.05). The results of the Mann Whitney statistic test obtained a p value of 0.000 <0.05. With this it can be said that there is a difference in the Posttest of the treatment group and the control group. Because there is a significant difference, it can be said that "There is an effect of Autogenic Relaxation Techniques on the anxiety level of pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic at BPM Meli Rosita in 2021. Conclusion: There is an effect of Autogenic Relaxation Technique on the anxiety level of pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic at BPM Meli Rosita in 2021. Suggestion: It is hoped that the autogenic relaxation technique that has been done previously can be applied again routinely at home. Background: Sleep disturbance is one of the most common complaints found in the elderly. Sleep disturbance is where a person finds it difficult to start sleep. A disturbance that commonly occurs is the length of time to sleep or the quantity of sleep that is not appropriate. In addition, ineffective sleep is related to sleep quality in the elderly. On the other hand, improving the quality of sleep in the elderly can be overcome using a non-pharmacological method that is effective and safe. One of the non-pharmacological methods that can be applied is the Benson Relaxation Technique. Purpose: This study's aim was to determine the effectiveness of Benson's relaxation techniques on the quality of sleep of the elderly in the Bhakti Kencana Elderly Integrated Service Pos Palembang City in 2020. Methods: This research is a quantitative study using a Pre-Experimental research method and a One Group Pre-Test-Postest model. The research sample is the elderly who meet the inclusion criteria amounted to 30 people. Data is analyzed by using Mc.Nemar statistical test. Results: Through bivariate analysis using Mc.Nemar test of the respondent quality of sleep before and after Benson's relaxation been given to showed that the significance of ρ value is 0,000 (p ≤ 0.05), which means there is a difference between sleep quality of respondents before and after treatment. Conclusion: it can be concluded that Benson's relaxation technique is effective in improving the quality of sleep in the elderly. The next researcher is expected to be able to add more variables in research related to sleep quality in the elderly in order to have more adequate results.

Background: Sleep is an important activity for humans. Especially babies, because one of the factors that affect the growth and development of babies is sleep. Methods to overcome poor sleep quality that are fast and effective are still lacking for infants under 6 months of age. There is one effective method is to use white noise in the hypno sleeping process in infants aged 0-6 months. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using white noise in the hypno sleeping process in infants aged 0-6 months. Methods: This research belongs to the type of quantitative research with a Pre Experiment research design in the form of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Sampling using purposive sampling method and added a correction of 10%. The sample of this study were infants aged 0-6 months in PMB Rabiah Palembang City who had poor sleep quality and who met the inclusion criteria were 33 infants. Results: The results of the study using Mc Nemar statistical test and obtained a significant value value = 0.000 (ρ value <0.05) meaning that the use of white noise is effective in the hypno sleeping process in infants aged 0-6 months. AbstractBackground: The process of childbirth is identical to pain that can cause birthing mothers to feel anxious. When the mother in labor feels anxious, the body will spontaneously release catecholamine hormones, namely epinephrine and norepinephrine. This hormone can cause complications for both mother and fetus. One of the non-pharmacological methods that can be used to treat labor pain is the use of a birth ball. Purpose: of this study was to determine the relationship between the use of birth balls and the intensity of maternal pain at the Pratama Bhakti Clinic, Pekanbaru City. This type of research is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this study were all mothers who gave birth normally at the Pratama Bhakti Clinic, Pekanbaru City for the period March-April 2017, totaling 31 people. The sample of this study amounted to 20 people who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Processing and analysis of data is carried out in a computerized manner. Results: of statistical tests using Mann-Whitney showed that there was a significant difference in pain intensity between the groups of mothers who gave birth using a birth ball and who did not use a birth ball (p = 0.000). Conclusion: In an effort to reduce labor pain, it is recommended that the Pratama Bhakti Clinic apply the use of birth balls as an alternative to reduce labor pain.
