The Ecuadorian wound care centers are health units specialized in the treatment of acute and chronic wounds; their processes are developed in base of the general parameters issued by the Ministry of Health, however, there are no clearly established parameters to measure the quality that is offered by these centers. Therefore, in this work a model for the implementation of a quality management system is proposed, the one which is based on the ISO 9011:2015 for a wound care center. Being a theoretical research, it was done on the basis of deep epistemological studies from the application of the following methods: systemic, hermeneutic, dialectical, and holistic, which allowed to analyze the quality standards of the ISO 9001:2015 in relation with the strategic operational and support processes in a wound care center. The proposed model consists in the integration of the organization and the standardization of its processes, which is composed by three dimensions; with their respective categories, the ones that emerge as guiding components in the application of relevant quality standards of the aforementioned norm in the administrative and operational processes, essential for a successful, efficient and effective health care attention according to the needs of the patients, contributing to the improvement of their quality of life.

This research describes the use of oral expressive microskills of Luis Fernandez Ruiz High school students at the 2021-2022 school year. This project has a qualitative approach. It addresses a social fact as the application of expressive microskills in the stages of planning, development and evaluation of oral speech. The results of this research demonstrate that in the planning stage those under investigation apply the following expressive microskills: comunicative intention, identifying the kind of speech, script writing, evocation of experienced, but, they do not consider: identification of needs, the stablishment of objective setting, the discursive situation, voice log level identification. In development, they apply the following microskills: discursive sequence, assesment of the discursive sutuation, tone of voice, strategies of initiation, development and closure, hierarchy, coherence and cohesion of ideas, public reaction and spelling. But, they do not apply: adequacy of speech, complexity in sentences, paralinguistic elements, adaptation of the speech to the context, age and level of education of the audience. In the evaluation of oral speech, the microskills they apply are: valuing diversity, correcting mistakes, applying improvements, anticipation, scenario forecasting and they do not take into account: recognition of successes and failures and consolidation of successes. This leads to the conclusion that those students under investigation apply expressive oral microskills that affect directly the quality of oral speech

This study examinates the used of narrative strategies by 35 teachers in eight elementary schools in Quito. From a methodological standpoint, the investigation is descriptive in nature, with a field design and a quantitative focus, as well as data collection techniques such as using a questionnaire and data analysis techniques such as descriptive statistic. A quantitative survey was administered to the subjects. According to the results, most of the investigated used oral and written reports as teaching strategies. Despite the contributions of narrative to the development of oral expression, communication, and the production of short text, a significant proportion of the population does not use it. Taking all the preceding into consideration, it is concluded that there is a limited used of narrative as teaching strategy for the snivel element in the context under investigation. It results in limiting the development of oral expression and other communication skills during an early stage.

In order to describe the behavior of domestic violence in times of pandemic and social isolation, a narrative review was carried out. As sources of information, articles were used in databases such as Pubmed, BMC and LILACS on domestic violence in the context of COVID-19, in any of its manifestations: physical, economic, psychological, or sexual violence, with subjects of any age and sex, with analytical, observational design, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, in which validated instruments have been used to measure domestic violence. 50 articles were included, with a population of 28,240 subjects. An increase in the figures of domestic violence in the context of the pandemic is described. The most frequent forms of domestic violence were: psychological, physical, sexual, economic. Although this can happen to everyone in the household, women seem to be the most affected. Domestic violence, although it was a serious problem before the pandemic and isolation due to COVID-19, has experienced a notable increase after this in all its manifestations. The prevention of domestic violence in the context of the pandemic should be based on education, the identification of families at risk, and the development of satisfactory family relationships.

The Financial system is a fundamental component of the national economy which is made up of public and private financial institutions, and its purpose is focused on financial intermediation. During the COVID-19 health emergency, the exposure of the financial system to the materialization of the credit risk was practically inevitable. In consequence, this work was developed to identify the credit risk factors of a credit union from segment 1 in the context of the pandemic. Being a qualitative, non-experimental, descriptive and transversal research, for the data collection, not only a structured survey was applied to the members but also an interview to the executives of the institution. In addition, through fieldwork, documentation was analyzed, the one which provided valuable information and was complemented with an exhaustive bibliographic review. The results reveal that internal and external credit risk factors have increased significantly. The internal ones are evidenced in: low operability of the banking core, deficiency in credit origination, portfolio concentration, limited recovery management and lack of knowledge about credit card policies. The external ones are determined by: the loss of employment of the members, suspension of school activities, mobility restrictions at national level, and an impending reduction of the family income. In this sense it is concluded that, the credit union under study did not take the necessary measures to mitigate in a timely manner the internal credit risk factors and reacted somewhat slowly to the external credit risk factors during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This article explores the dynamics of natural disasters throughout the world in recent years, and tries to relate their economic and human impact based on the degree of development of the impacted countries, in this sense, it was identified that natural disasters hazards are random with respect to geographical distribution, the most common being floods and droughts, these are strongly correlated with the current climatic situation, however, the impact is much more significant in underdeveloped countries compared to developed ones, from the point of view In human and economic terms, the developed countries experience greater losses, this is explained by the vulnerability of the population in third world countries, with significant percentages of their population settled in many cases in risk areas and without the possibility of resettling as a measure preventive, while in developed countries, infrastructural development, makes its impact economic is magnified. From the point of view of human mobility, we can already speak of climatic migrants, due to prolonged droughts and frequent floods, communities impacted by these phenomena move in large groups to urban centers inside or outside the borders creating geographic resettlements that in many cases are in areas at risk from natural disasters and are again in conditions of vulnerability, in addition, the fact that they are massive transfers, without the possibility of adapting and integrating, causes resettlement to be also cultural and cause tensions with the people in the resettlement sites, turning this into a social problem.

This research work aims to determine the applicability of the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard in the processes of ASOSERAM, a food service company in Ecuador. In this sense, an exhaustive technical analysis of the Standard's requirements mentioned above was developed concerning the organizational, administrative, financial, and operational processes of ASOSERAM, following the guidelines of the proposed research objective. An in-depth documentary and bibliographical analysis provided referential data of significant value on the technical application of the Standard in similar companies. This contributed immeasurably to the decision-making in determining each of the requirements' applicability in the investigated context. The results reveal that the 312 requirements of the ISO 9001: 2015 Standard are applicable to the processes of the ASOSERAM production chain. Hence, it is concluded that the quality management system under ISO 9001: 2015 is applicable in ASOSERAM, a food service company in Ecuador.

The objective of this work is to answer the question: In what way are the structure and operation of the State and Public Administration related to Food Security in Mexico? This will be achieved through the analysis of the Mexican State Reforms and the most relevant processes implemented for Administrative Modernization in the area of Food Safety. As well, it will be possible to observe the articulation of the mechanisms to guarantee Food Security that has tended to supply domestic demand through the importation of food products from international markets, mainly from the United States, with the Free Trade Agreement of North America, today a Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada, leaving aside the enormous production capacity that the field has in Mexico.

The COVID-19 pandemic had made visible the importance of care as one of the strategies to stop contagions, given the gradual return to classes for the 2021-2022 school year in Mexico, educational institutions of all levels face great challenges. At the higher level, security measures have to respond to the educational offer, research projects, university extension work, among others, it leads to the question: what are universities doing to avoid contagion and promote shared responsibility of care? In this way, the objective of the article is to share the learnings and challenges that the continuity of a university program of community intervention in the face of the pandemic and the return to face-to-face activities has meant, in order to initiate a dialogue on care among university communities. The ethics of care is proposed as a starting point to make care work visible in public life and as a strategy to strengthen biosafety protocols. The article recovers the systematization of the program, the discussion of focus groups between students and graduates, as well as the biosafety protocols before returning to face-to-face activities.

The intense migratory flow to Ecuador, driven by social problems associated with insecurity due to the guerrillas in southern Colombia and, more recently, by the Venezuelan economic breakdown, due to political tensions and failed government economic measures, has put Ecuadorian society in contact with human groups fully identified with another culture. Problems arise when Ecuadorian citizens associate foreign social groups, particularly Colombians and Venezuelans, with crime and insecurity. The present study is to determine if there is a relationship between the migratory waves of the last decade and the increase in crime in areas of influence of migration. The methodology used was documentary analysis. It was concluded that a high number of Venezuelan citizens in transit commit crimes of opportunity, driven by necessity. Likewise, Colombian citizens commit crimes more related to organized crime, but nevertheless, crime in this population segment is minimal, hence there is not enough evidence to indicate that the increase in crime is a direct consequence of migration of citizens Venezuelan and Colombian.
