Optical investigation of InGaAsP/InP double heterostructure wafers InGaAsP/InP双异质结构晶圆的光学研究

Complex and informative luminescent spectra have been obtained by using visible sources for excitation of InGaAsP/InP double heterostructure diode wafers. The thin contact layer transforms the high energy exciting light to lower energy photons which can excite the active layer, although the InP confining layers are not transparent for primary exciting photon.
利用可见光源对InGaAsP/InP双异质结构二极管晶片进行激发,获得了复杂且信息丰富的发光光谱。薄接触层将高能激发光转化为能激发有源层的低能量光子,但InP约束层对初级激发光子不透明。

Kaleidoscope laser properties and new optical fractal contexts 万花筒激光特性和新的光学分形背景

We present the first detailed account of kaleidoscope laser modes where the equivalent Fresnel number Neq and magnification M may assume arbitrary values. Properties of these linear fractal eigenmodes are explored through extensive numerical computations. Considerations are extended to demonstration and analyses of new contexts for spontaneous nonlinear optical fractals.

Nonlinear coupling in plasmonic structures 等离子体结构中的非线性耦合

Nonlinear modes and switching characteristics of plasmonic directional couplers are studied. The structures are created by two neighbouring metal-dielectric-metal waveguides with the slots filled in a nonlinear dielectric material. The different nonlinear modes are calculated, and the FDTD numerical simulations are carried out to study the power transfer in such plasmonic couplers and evaluate the effect of optical losses on the coupler switching characteristics.

Showed that environmental turbulence number increase lead to corresponding measurand fluctuations degree changes, which determined possibility of television-picture generators application in inflammation detection systems.

A vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) based on (110) InGaAs/GaAs multiple quantum wells (MQWs) was fabricated and characterized. Circularly polarized lasing by optical pumping was demonstrated. A high degree of circular polarization, 0.94, was observed at 77 K, reflecting the long electron spin relaxation time in the (110) MQWs.

The damage of DNA induced by UV nanosecond laser excitation at 193 nm 193nm紫外光纳秒激光激发对DNA的损伤

Solutions containing dsDNA fragments were irradiated with UV laser pulses. The produced damage was investigated using polyacrylamid gel electrophoresis. The intensity of cleavage in particular phosphodiester bond after hot alkali treatment of irradiated samples was shown to depend on base pair sequence. The damage of DNA fragments has occurred predominantly in the sites containing guanine clusters.
