BİR YÖNETİM GURUSU OLARAK ALFRED D. CHANDLER VE İŞLETME TARİHİ ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİLERİNE YÖNELİK ANALİTİK BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Aim: The purpose of this article is to make an analytical assessment of the effects of Alfred D. Chandler, Jr., who is considered the father of modern business history, on business history. Method: For this purpose, first of all, the birth and development of the history of business have been discussed. Then, Alfred Chandler's life, works, contributions to the history of business, and discussions and objections to his generalizations were emphasized. Then, factors that changed the international popularity of Chandler and his ideas were evaluated. In the last section, the lasting and obvious effect of the Chandlerian perspective on business history has been examined and the study has been concluded with the conclusion. Results: Although the pro-Chandler paradigm has lost much of its luster over time, the new style of economically informed business history continues to gain increasingly attention around the world. Conclusion: Although controversies and objections to his generalizations still exist today, due to his works in this field, especially due to his generalizations on the relationship between strategy and structure, the distinction between central and peripheral sectors, and the role of large enterprises and management in innovation, it is thought Chandler to retain his central role in Business History
目的:本文的目的是对被认为是现代商业史之父的Alfred D. ESKİŞEHİR DESTİNASYON MARKASININ GELİŞTİRİLMESİNDE LÜLETAŞI

Amac: Destinasyon markasinin gelistirilmesi, destinasyona farklilik kazandiran ozelliklerin rekabet avantaji saglamasi amaciyla yonetilmesini gerektirmektedir. Eskisehir, bolgeye has unsurlariyla diger destinasyonlardan farklilasan kimligiyle guclu bir imaja sahiptir. Eskisehir, luletasi madeninin dunyadaki en iyi ozelliklere sahip ocaklarinin da merkezi olarak bilinmektedir. Ticari olarak islenebilir luletasi yataklarinin neredeyse tamami Eskisehir’de bulunmaktadir. Ancak Eskisehir destinasyon markasinin gelistirilmesinde luletasinin katkisi istenilen duzeyde degildir. Arastirmanin amaci, Eskisehir destinasyon markasinin gelistirilmesine yonelik olarak luletasi islemeciligini; egitim, urun tasarimi, tanitim, destinasyon marka imajina ve sehrin ekonomisine katkisi bakimindan durumunun degerlendirerek sorunlari tespit etmek ve oneriler sunmaktir. Yontem: Arastirmanin amaci dogrultusunda kesifsel bir arastirma yapilmistir. Kartopu ornekleme yontemiyle secilen luletasi konusundaki sekiz uzman ile yari yapilandirilmis gorusmeler kapsaminda elde edilen veriler, icerik analizine tabi tutulmustur. Bulgular: Luletasinin Eskisehir’in destinasyon markasina kattigi degerin istenilen duzeyde olmadigi gorulmustur. Luletasinin bilinirliginin az olmasi, cogu ustanin klasik motiflerle sinirli kalmasi, Eskisehir’e ekonomik kazanc saglayamamasi, egitim, urun tasarim ve tanitim calismalarinin yetersiz olmasi nedeniyle; Eskisehir destinasyon markasinin gelistirilmesinde luletasi katkisinin sinirli oldugu tespit edilmistir. Sonuc: Ozellikleri nedeniyle dunyada on plana cikan Eskisehir luletasinin, bu sehrin marka gelisimine katkisini artirmanin tum katilimcilarin sorumlulugunda oldugu gorulmektedir. Luletasiyla ilgili her turlu faaliyetin kayit altina alinmasi, programlanmasi ve turizm unsuru olarak ziyaretcilere essiz deneyimler yasatilmasi gerekmektedir.

DAHİLDE İŞLEME REJİMİNDE KARŞILAŞILAN SORUNLAR VE ÇÖZÜM ÖNERİLERİ

Amac: Bu calisma Dahilde Isleme Rejimi’nin (DIR) isleyisinde karsilasilan sorunlari tespit etmeyi ve bu sorunlara yonelik cozum onerileri bulunmayi amaclamaktadir. Yontem: Amaci bakimindan bu calisma aciklayici arastirma kategorisinde yer almaktadir ve nicel arastirma yontemine dayanmaktadir. Arastirmada anket teknigi kullanilmistir ve SPSS programiyla veri analizi yapilmistir. Bulgular: DIR’i; duzenleyici ve denetleyici kuruluslara kiyasla rejimi kullanmakta olan firmalar daha cok desteklemektedir. Ayrica rejimin ihracat ve istihdam uzerinde olumlu etkisi tespit edilmistir. Bununla beraber rejimin isletmelerin verimliligini artirdigi ve ihracatci firmalara uluslararasi pazarlarda rekabet gucu kazandirdigi anlasilmistir. Literaturde yer alan calismalarin aksine; rejimin haksiz rekabet yaratmadigi, ithal bagimliligini artirmadigi, ticaret politikasi onlemlerinin etkisini azaltmadigi ve cari acigi artirmadigina yonelik bulgulara ulasilmistir. Ayrica rejim kapsaminda yasanan bazi degisikliklerin belirsizliklere yol acmasi ve esdeger esya kullanimi konusunda sorunlar tespit edilmistir. Sonuc: Bu rejimin ulke ekonomisine fayda saglamasi icin, sadece arz yetersizligi yasanan donemlerde kullanilmasi ve ithal esyalarinin yurt icerisinde ikamesi bulunmasi halinde yurt icinden tedarik edilmesi desteklenmelidir. Nowadays, families with children have an important place in tourism purchasing activities. In this context, the concept of child-friendly hotels come into prominence. A child-friendly hotel can be defined as the hotel that meets the requests and needs of families with children. Hotels that provide opportunities such as dining, room options, and hotel activities for families with children are categorized in this class (ETS TUR, 2018).  In other words, child-friendly hotels can be described as facilities equipped with opportunities such as larger rooms and a special menu for children, with controlled or planned activities, close to entertainment venues (Lim et. al., 2009). Families prefer the child-friendly hotel concept for their children, so they expect to see that the children to be satisfied with the hotel. If their expectations are not met or in the case of dissatisfaction, they express their feelings by using the complaint channels. Customers can express their complaints by expressing this situation directly to the management, initiating negative word of mouth, interrupting the service (patronage) or taking legal actions such as arbitration committee for consumer problems. It is important for hotels holding their current customers in providing a long-term competitive advantage. In this case, they should satisfy and compensate their customers' dissatisfaction. Complaint management is the process of disseminating and transitioning of information in order to identify and correct various causes of customer dissatisfaction. It defines strategies are used to resolve previous mistakes of companies and learn from them in order to restore customer trust to the credibility of the organization. Encouragements of complaints and quick response to the e-complaints from the customers by the hotels are very important in terms of customer satisfaction. It is not possible to not get complaints and even the best hotels may have deficiencies in this regard. The important thing is to resolve the complaints reaching the hotels as soon as possible (Argan, 2014). Thus, hotels that have experienced this kind of situations will be able to produce goods and services that meet the expectations of customers without any mistake (Alabay, 2012). In this study, the complaints of families who prefer child-friendly hotel concept were examined and it was aimed to determine which elements are most emphasized. For this purpose, it was evaluated customer's comments who got service from ultra-all-inclusive child-friendly hotels and made comments on a well-known website. Comments were evaluated by content analysis. The list of hotels is taken from a well known holiday website. All comments until April 2018 were evaluated in the analysis.  According to the website, there is a total of 45 ultra-all-inclusive hotel in Turkey.  Some of these hotels are grouped under a single title on the website because they are chain hotels.
