The study aims to grasp the importance of Epithet in contemporary narratives, as Epithet is a superior partner in producing grammatical structures that reveal the meanings in the text and innovate its aesthetics. Hence, the study examined the presence of Epithet in Al-Hamoudi novel, written by Omar Abdul Aziz, tracked its manifestations and investigated its functions. The research concluded that the Epithet in this novel has a prominent standing featured in four main roles, which contributed to empowering the aesthetic ability on one hand, and forming the core vision in the novel on the other hand. The first Role is: Prima facie and figurative, which helps the grammar with explaining the concept of Epithet, its manifestations and use techniques; the second one is: Conceptual, which shows what functions the Epithet does in the narrative; the third one is: Semantic, which demonstrates the ability of the Epithet to show the hidden and tricky meanings of words; and the fourth is: Aesthetic, which exhibits the ability of the Epithet to construct rhetorical expressions and the structure of figurative language that the narrative requires. Epithet is present in all pages of the novel and in all of its grammatical shapes, and it was present in expressive and implied functions together. Therefore, the Epithet was spotted 1600 times in this novel. The study also concluded that the Epithet in literature, especially in the novel, performs a necessary role in creativity. In addition to that, we can see the possibility of investing this attractive linguistic activity in the novel to teach the Epithet and other grammatical concepts to university students. The goal of this study is to estimate surface runoff using (SCS-CN) and Geographic Information System and remote sensing (GIS &RS) in Wadi Shuieb Basin which is located within the dry region in central Jordan. The maps of the hydrological soils and land use / land cover were used within the GIS environment toolbox to produce table and map of the curve number (CN). The model of the curve number was then used to estimate the runoff which corresponds to the rain storms within the watershed. Due to the inconsistence records of runoff within the study area, the SCS-CN model was found to be an effective method for estimating the runoff generation. The results show that the SCS-CN method provides high-precision results in estimating surface runoff which particularly based on rain storms. The corresponding values were (57.7), (76.5) and (88.4) under dry, normal and wet conditions respectively. This in turns influences the surface storage (S) and the initial loss (Ia). The results furthermore, illustrate that the highest rate of surface runoff (64940 m3) was in Salt meteorological station, whereas (Ira) meteorological station has the lowest rate of surface runoff (14580 m3). The study aims at knowing the effect of the disruption of systematic motivation on the performance of the Jordanian Teacher's, focusing on five aspects: loss of meaning, anomie, disruption of personality, sentimental tension & gratification. The study included specimen of (1551) teachers: 719 males & 832 females from the schools of Irbid education directorates. The results showed that the aspects of the disruption of systematic motivation of Jordanian teacher's performance have been represented in a medium degree respectively in: anomie, gratification, loss of meaning, disruption of personality & sentimental tension. The results also showed the existence of differences of statistic implications (α ≥ 0.05) of the effect of the variable social type in all aspects except anomie & gratification, the non-existence of differences of the effect of the variable specially variant in all aspects, the non-existence of differences of attributed to the effect the variable teaching stage in all aspects except sentiments tension & gratification, the non-existence of differences the effect of the variable practical experience in all aspects except loss of meaning, and disruption of personality, nonexistence of differences of the effect of the number of a variable teaching periods & classes that the teacher teaches weekly in all aspects except loss of meaning, the existence of differences of the effect of the variable satisfaction of the career as a teacher in all aspects & the existence of differences of the effect of the variable monthly income of the family in all aspects except anomie. This study deals with the setting and its connotations in Al-Tanturiya novel. The setting dominates the novel from beginning to end. It also highlights the effect of the setting on characters, their behaviors, morals, customs, traditions, and reactions. Moreover, this article proves that place remains unforgettable and stored in man’s memory throughout his lifetime. It is always the incidents and events that that rummage in the memory and reveal the memories of settings with its signs, significance, and symbols. The setting in this novel comes in a variety of forms such as the countryside, the city, and the immigration country: (Lebanon, UAE, Egypt, and Canada). This diversity imparts to the text an aesthetic embodiment that involves the patterns of the setting and its implications in the novel. This research is based upon the methodological approach by extracting the spatial artistic structures, analyzing them, showing their aesthetics, meanings, and impacts on the text. The study will cover different elements in the novel such as: 1. An introduction that presents a short overview about the novel and its emergence; 2. The setting with its significations and patterns through different and diverse places in the novel such as the countryside, the immigration countries of Lebanon, Egypt, UAE, Canada; 3. The impact of the setting and its reflection on man and his surroundings; 4. Historical writing is considered an important part in historical studies. In fact, historical writing deals with how historical narratives are approached and exposes historians’ tendencies. The crusades and the conflicts between the Crusaders and Muslims are important historical periods that are still worth investigating further because of distortions and misrepresentations definging these periods. The study of Tarikh Alzaman and its methodology by Gregory Bar Hebraeus (known as Ibn Al-Malati or Ibn Al-ʿIbrī, 1226-1286 AD/ 623-685 H) is one of the most important studies. The problem of this study lies in attempting to understand the aspects of that period from the beginning of the Crusades to the end of Saladin Al-Ayyubi and to understand the way or method Ibn-Al-Ibri deals with that period along with his tendencies and his attitudes towards various conflicting parties back then. The significance of this study is to expose and uncover some mysterious aspects in that period included in his book by virtue of his experience, his work, or his unique sources coming from his own people, Syrians. His book is considered an important contribution for that period which other sources, whether Islamic or Latin ones, lack. This critical approach highlights the grammatical structures, similes, syntactic metaphors and technical methods and styles that the Saudi author Laila Al-Juhani used in her text (40 in the Sense of Growing) to express her feelings regards the changes that occur by the age of forty. The significance of this study relies in its attempt to examine the impact of the awareness of time on the formation of discourse. It addresses an artistic treatment and a discussion of the philosophical dimensions of the controversial of "awareness" and the problem of "time" and their impact on the discourse of revealing. This study deals with thecritical feminist cultural discourse by Moroccan feminist writer Fatima Mernissi (1940- 2015). The study focused on three concepts: cultural critique and feminist critique. The second topic dealt with cultural content in her speech through some of her works are related to the subject of the study. The last topic deals with the forms of women's cultural discourse at Mernissi: Harem speech, Hijab speech, power speech and masculine hegemony. It can be said that this study reveals the nature of critical thinking at Mernissi in dealing with social and cultural issues in general and women in particular. It shows how to deal with Arab cultural specificity, especially in the context of Islamic societies, in addition to the current status of women in the arbitrary practices that these communities have been subjected to.
