Food as we all know is among one of the necessity of life. We cannot survive without it. But food wastage is a major problem in today’s world. Solving this problem is not a responsibility of a few people but the whole mankind has the responsibility to stop food wastage. Textual representations or pictures (such as "LOVE FOOD HATE WASTE") are a great way to send our message across the audience but they do not retain for much time in their mind. We need something that will remain in their minds even after they had finished their meals. This paper aims at delivering an idea on how this problem can be tackled down with the use of Real time visual analytics.

In this Physical competitive world with vast technologies ahead, the humans are always in search of new and advanced products which make their life's simple and the most comfortable. One such interesting and enthusiastic field is "Internet of Things (IoT)". It allows the objects to sense and control from various places through network connectivity. With these successful advancements of IoT, we have introduced and modulated a new innovative product idea for the successful adjustment of brightness of available home appliances viz. (Electrical Lights in the home) according to user requirement. This innovative and efficient product allows the user to adjust the brightness accordingly to their required level of extent. This efficient product is innovated for minimizing the problems of eye strain and it also focuses on reducing the flow of electricity and storing the electricity/charge with the help of well-equipped capacitors made up of aluminium plates in the hardware block, whenever the brightness is reduced through the mobile-application by the user to the required level in the case of not requiring full-on lights with high brightness in day-time further resulting in reducing the electricity bill. Even if the user forgets to turn off the light, he can be able to operate through his device from any remote area. The brightness can be adjusted by considering the benefits of light sensors like light ambient sensors made up of semiconductor material, cadmium sulphide which helped in reducing human-eye strain. This innovative product, by communicating with sensors detects the status of the home appliance (light) as on/off and reports the up-to-date product status as good/bad in condition daily. It also reports the status of the storage block in the hardware, whether started/not started to the user. This efficient product helps a lot to the old people and newly born babies at home, who require lights in day-time but doesn't require such high brightness by protecting them minimizing eye-strain. This is to be designed in such a way as to make available to the common-man with affordable cost. Thus this innovative product crossed the advantages of other different products and satisfies the user by allowing him/her to control devices through their network-connected devices.

Faults should be cleared on the transmission line as soon as possible. Smaller time for the fault clearing has many merits like less threat of damaging equipment’s, reduced loss of income, better customer satisfaction due to improved quality and reliability of power supply. Fast restoration of supply is possible, if accurate location of fault method is used. This paper gives the basic idea for calculating the location of fault using wavelet transform and the travelling wave method in a DG based power system. One practically applicable 3-bus system incorporated with various types of distribution generations are considered for the protection analysis purpose and is simulated using MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. The location of fault is done using travelling wave method and wavelet transforms method. The comparison results are presented which demonstrates the enhanced performance of both the methods.

Sentimental analysis aims at identifying the opinions of various users. This paper presents my research work on the application of sentimental analysis on book reviews. I have applied both unsupervised (Semantic Orientation - Pointwise Mutual Information - Information Retrieval) and supervised (Support Vector Machine and Naïve Bayes) machine learning approaches on two openly available book review datasets from GoodReads and Amazon. The comparative analysis of the approaches on the datasets indicates that unsupervised approach performs better on GoodReads dataset with an accuracy of 73.23% whereas supervised approach gives better results on Amazon dataset with Naïve Bayes giving the maximum accuracy which ranges from 73.72% to 74.73% in the case of 5-folds and 10-folds respectively.

Unwanted signals in a search radar are generally described as noise or clutter and this also includes ground returns, sea returns, weather, buildings, birds and insects. Removal of clutter is a significant challenge in radar signal processing. In this paper, we experiment with the use of certain sharpening filters and custom linear 2D filers for such an application. We report the work related to the removal of clutter like background disturbance carried out using a dataset of radar images collected from a website of National Weather Service Enhanced Radar Image — National Mosaic. The proposed approach provides satisfactory results making the radar returns prominent and sharp.

With the development of information technology and increasing demands for information security, various encryption methods have been attracted more and more attention in recent years. AES is one such symmetric key algorithm used for securing the data that transmits in the Internet. The strength of AES block cipher depends on the S-Box structure which is a nonlinear substitution operation. S-Boxes are fundamental component of symmetric key algorithms which performs substitution. Since the Substitution boxes are dynamically created, this fact makes it clear that both linear and differential cryptanalysis cannot be done on Dynamic S-Boxes. They are basically used in block ciphers to make the affiliation between key and cipher text more unfamiliar. There are lots of techniques used for generation of S-Box such as key dependent S-Box in which S-Box depends on the key, Bijection, Strict Avalanche criterion etc. This paper briefly analyzes the structure of AES algorithm and a dynamic S-Box is generated based on hash function. Also, the eminence of generated S-Box is been experimentally evaluated and compared along with the original AES for the simulation time.

The increase in the growth of healthcare IoT devices leads to a large volume and variety of healthcare data. The large healthcare data generates high data traffic that will cause network bottleneck and burdens the cloud with an extra amount of workload. The main requirement of healthcare IoT is to have a minimum network and service latency along with conserve network bandwidth. Both the volume of data as well as factors related to internet connectivity may lead to high network latency in analyzing and acting upon device data. Therefore, due to high network latency, high service latency and large data transmission from IoT devices, the cloud is unable to send the patient health data in real-time mode. Fog computing is a new approach to address this requirement of cloud and healthcare IoT devices. A tentative novel solution for the above-mentioned problem using fuzzy-based fog computing architecture that integrates healthcare IoT devices with the cloud and uses fog services with Fuzzy Data Packet Allocation (FDPA) algorithm. Using virtualization and fuzzy inference system (FIS) in fog computing, the proposed algorithm is expected to transfer the patient health data in real-time mode to agencies and doctors.

Thermal power plant consumes large amount of coal to generate heat and electricity. Scarcity of coal targets energy saving and emission reduction. Optimal usage of coal in boiler of thermal plant can be achieved through accurate values of boiler operation parameters. Power plant operator faces the challenge of examining the data and evaluates these values for optimal performance of the plant operation. Usage of theory of thermodynamics in complex, uncertain, non-stable, inertial, time-delaying, and nonlinear of combustion process is difficult. Hence, many researchers proposed expert systems (called as combustion model of the boiler) to monitor and control the run-time efficiency and heat rate of the boiler and to suggest appropriate actions for the operation. Recent, expert system used to model the thermal efficiency of the pulverized coal furnace are mainly based on intelligent control approaches. In this paper, we categorize all up-to-date and published works based on current intelligent control approaches for prediction of boiler efficiency into three groups’ rule-based expert systems, soft-computing techniques and hybrid system. Their findings and important contributions are highlighted.
