Income has a close relationship with the level of production achieved, if production increases, income also tends to increase. In addition, the amount of farmers' income depends on the prevailing price level. High or low income is influenced by production and price levels. The aim is to analyze the production and income of rice farming lines/varieties in lowland land agroecosystems. The activity was carried out on the dry land of the IP2TP experimental garden in Merauke Regency. The demonstration plot starts from January to April 2020. The design of the activities used is farming analysis on the four (4) lines and three (3) rice varieties, namely the four new high-yielding lines (1) BP15886M-12D-SKI-5-2_1. The research aimed to analyze the quality of compost (Ca, Mg, and CEC content) from various C/N ratios of dairy goat feces, forage waste, and straw. Experimental research methods, the design used a completely randomized design (CRD), using treatment C/N ratio 25 (T1), C/N ratio 30 (T2), and C/N ratio 35 (T3), done six times. The analysis results were tested with variance and Duncan’s test. The research results on the C/N ratio of dairy goat feces, rice straw, and forage waste affect the content of Ca, Mg, and CEC value of compost. For example, the highest content of Ca (19744.04 ± 1570.0 ppm) and Mg (8914.63 ± 670.18 ppm) was obtained in the treatment of C/N ratio 25 (T1), and the highest CEC value (133.61 ± 5.69 cmol/kg) was obtained in the treatment of the C/N ratio 35 (T3).

Manure derived from cattle, chickens, and goats can be used as compost and has different nutrient content. The application of manure compost can improve soil’s physical, chemical, and biological properties and thus increase plant growth and productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of various manure compost (cow, chicken, and goat) on the growth of elephant grass cv Pakchong (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Pakchong). The design used was a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment is fertilizing using compost, namely P0= without compost, P1=cow manure compost, P2=chicken manure compost, and P3=goat manure compost. The observed variables were plant height, the number of leaves and tiller, and the dry weight of the leaves stem shoots and roots. The results showed that the use of manure compost had a significant effect (P<0.05) on increasing the growth of elephant grass cv. Pakchong. Chicken manure compost produces the best growth of elephant grass cv. Pakchong which is seen from the plant height, the number of leaves and tiller, and the dry weight of the leaves, stems, and shoots.

Soil nutrient deficiency is a problem aftermath of reduction caused by metals and leaching due to low soil organic matter and high input of synthetic chemical fertilizers. The decline in the corn harvest index is a decrease in soil fertility. Hence, local organic materials have urgently needed as a Ultisol ameliorant. This study aims to determine the right combination of chicken manure and cow manure to produce the best increase in plant height and increase the plant dry weight, soil pH, and CEC. The research has conducted at the Hasnur Polytechnic, South Kalimantan, from April 2022 to August 2022 and used a completely randomized design with 200 g of manure divided into three combinations of P0 (control), P1 (30% chicken manure versus 70% cow manure), P2 (50% chicken manure versus 50% cow manure), P3 (70% chicken manure versus 30% cow manure). The results showed that the P2 treatment increased plant height, dry weight, and optimal soil pH, while P3 showed significant soil CEC because chicken manure had varied and balanced nutrient content compared to cow manure.

Farmers are the people who use land (nature), labor, and capital to organize production in the agricultural field, whether for profit or not. Farming is a production organization.Corn (Zea mays L.) is one of the main commodities of legumes. It is a staple food in the United States because it is a good source of vegetable protein that helps diversify the food supply and ensures the nation's food security.Farmers are influenced by a variety of factors, including economic ones, such as capital control, the expectation of greater profits from farming, which will be chosen in comparison to other forms of farming. This is especially true when it comes to prioritizing optimal production results. The study was conducted in Sidorukun Village, Pangkatan District, Labuhanbatu Regency, with the goals of determining the level of farmer adoption of corn cultivation technology and the socioeconomic influence of farmers on corn cultivation technology.By using survey techniques, this study employs either quantitative or descriptive methods.According to the study's findings, the adoption rate of maize cultivation in Sidorukun village, Pangkatan District, Labuhanbatu Regency, is influenced by age, education level, duration of farming, and frequency of counseling. Additionally, corn cultivation did not adhere to all components of cultivation technology recommended by Field Agricultural Extension (PPL).

Sangatta Selatan Sub-District, East Kutai District was one of the potential areas for the development of laying hens. The local farm that cultivates laying hens in this sub-district is Philipines Farm. The sustainability of a business requires the ability to face the market. Therefore, every businessman needs to implement the marketing mix. This study aims to determine the application of the marketing mix on marketing eggs of laying hens at the Philipines Farm in the South Sangatta Sub-District. This research was carried out in 2021 at the Philipines Farm by using a case study method. The results showed that the application of the marketing mix in marketing eggs of laying hens at the Philippines farm was good level with a value of 30. The application of the marketing mix in the aspect of place and price was a very good level, with scores of each 8 and 10. Based on these results, businessmen were expected to maintain the performance of instruments of place and price. Meanwhile, the implementation of product and promotion aspects was good enough level with scores of 7 and 5. The strategy could be used by improving the performance of the instrument in product and promotion aspects.
