The Application of Practical Project-Based Approach in Police English Teaching 实践项目教学法在公安英语教学中的应用

The practical project-based approach integrates teaching with training and practicing, which is a teaching activity enrolled with “learning project” by teacher and students. The practical project-based approach improves the learning and knowledge construction with the help of training and practicing to gain the skills of understanding the knowledge and solving the problems. The Practical project-based approach can improve the problem of the separation of theoretical learning and training. It accords with the connotation development of higher education and is suitable for the needs of China’s modern police talents. It also meets the requirements of the developments of teaching methods and reform of courses in China’s police universities, which is worth our research, practice and promotion.
实践项目教学法将教学与培训、实践相结合,是教师和学生以“学习项目”的形式参与的教学活动。实践项目教学法通过培训和实践,提高学生对知识的理解能力和解决问题的能力,促进学生对知识的学习和知识的建构。基于实践项目的方法可以改善理论学习与训练分离的问题。它符合高等教育的内涵发展,适合中国现代警察人才的需要。这也符合中国公安院校教学方法发展和课程改革的要求,值得我们研究、实践和推广。

The Relationship Between Health Insurance and Out-of-Pocket Medical Expenditure in China 中国健康保险与自费医疗费用的关系

Health issue has aroused wide public concern in China. To some extent, insurance may decrease the cost of medical service. However, due to moral hazard (such as pianbao), people are more likely to use their health insurance. Both situations are possible in daily life. After running the regression using Stata and the data from China Health and Nutrition Survey, it comes to a conclusion that people may use more healthcare if they have health insurance. This paper provides a new idea about the relationship between insurance and expenditure. It ends by noting how Chinese government would deal with this kind of problem. Regulations and laws need to improve based on current legal system in the pharmaceutical industry.

Research on Process Model of Project Portfolio Management 项目组合管理过程模型研究

Enterprises need to seek the best use of limited resources. The selection of the project should not only consider financial indicators, but also non-financial indicators. Enterprises should consider the scale, time, risk and benefit of each project as a whole, as well as the consistency with the enterprise strategy, and select the best project combination to realize the maximization of the enterprise interests. Through the comprehensive application of literature research and expert interview, this paper puts forward a project portfolio management process model, which can meet the needs of enterprise project portfolio selection and management.

On the Construction of Industrial College in Local Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) on the Horizon of Emerging Engineering Education (3E) 新兴工程教育(3E)视域下的地方高校工业学院建设

In the context of the rapid development of the emerging engineering education (3E), the local higher education institutions (HEIs), which involve undergraduate colleges and universities, have launched and established the industrial colleges to realize the transformation and development of application-oriented school-running, and response to the construction of emerging engineering education (3E-construction). In this paper, the concept of industrial college was introduced, the connotation of industrial college was explained and clarified, and the different mode of industrial college was summarized. Based on the discussion on the operating mechanism of industrial college and the consideration of 3E-construction, the basic approaches and steps of building up industrial college were given. All of them, above opinions and pieces of advice, will provide reference for local HEIs to establish and construct their own industrial college.

Research on Talent Training for Future Outsourcing in the Era of AI 人工智能时代面向未来外包的人才培养研究

This paper studied the training mode of outsourcing talent, as well as the training concept and goal innovation or reorganization in the AI era, timely and effectively responded to the impact of AI. From the historical logic of higher education responding to the change of the social era, it was the logical starting point to promote the development of outsourcing industry by taking the change of talent training mode as the fulcrum and the innovation or reorganization of concept and goal as the starting point.

Behavioral Patterns of Completers in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs): The Use of Learning Analytics to Reveal Student Categories 大规模在线开放课程(MOOCs)完成者的行为模式:使用学习分析来揭示学生类别

The learning energy of MOOC completers has important reference value for future learners. Existing research focuses on the behavioral performance of dropouts and participants, but ignores the mining of completer behavior patterns. In this paper, Kmeans clustering method, descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, and chi-square test were used to systematically study the behavioral characteristics and academic performance of 1,388 MOOC completers. The results show that there are significant differences in resource and task preferences, effort levels, and so on, and learners can be divided into hard-working harvesters and punch-in participants; there is no significant difference in demographic characteristics. The article proposes strategies for improving teaching and promoting ordinary learners to improve learner behavior patterns and learning efficiency.

An Analysis of the Revised “Learning Guideline” for Senior High School Citizenship Curriculum in Japan 日本高中公民课程“学习指南”修订分析

In March 2018, in the global context of students’ development of key competencies, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan issued the Revised “Learning Guideline” for Senior High School, which has brought significant revision to the objectives, curriculum content, and teaching requirements in the senior high school citizenship curriculum. In terms of curriculum objectives, three “pillars”--namely “knowledge and skills”, “thinking abilities, judgment and expression power”, and “study ambition and human nature”, of training high school students are emphasized. In terms of curriculum content, three subjects—The Public, Ethics, and Politics and Economy, are set up to constitute the new curriculum system of citizenship. In terms of teaching requirements, specific requirements are made for the “quality and ability” objectives of each subject to be achieved on the “three pillars”. The newly revised senior high school “Learning Guideline” of citizenship course highlights the epochal character and value orientation of citizenship course, focuses on the convergence and operability of the objectives of citizenship course, and emphasizes the openness and flexibility of the content of citizenship courses, which has certain enlightening value.

On the Critical Thinking of the Undergraduates and the Cultivating Paths of the Universities in China 论大学生批判性思维与中国高校的培养路径

Critical thinking is the fountain of innovation. No criticism, no innovation. It is of great significance to attach importance to the undergraduates’ critical thinking in order to enhance their comprehensive quality, innovative ability and learning skills. In this paper, the structural components and developed characteristics of the critical and reflective thinking were analyzed and summarized, the theoretical and practical significance of the critical and reflective thinking and the innovative ability training in the universities of China were discussed and researched. Some countermeasures and advises to the critical thinking and innovative ability training of undergraduates were suggested. An explicit paths and methods of the undergraduates’ critical thinking cultivation have been integrated into the curriculum in Huaiyin Institute of Technology (HYIT), China. The cultivation of critical thinking was combined with learning skills and innovative ability in this way.

Application of Flipped Classroom Combined With OBE Concept in College English Course 翻转课堂结合OBE理念在大学英语教学中的应用

With the sustainable development of science and technology, the integration between information technology and education is increasingly deepening, China’s education sector advocated that education should be developed in the direction of informatization. Under this background, the flipped classroom concept was put forward and gained the recognition from both teachers and students. As a new teaching method, it enables students to study independently. Meanwhile, the OBE concept also arises at the historic moment, which can improve the students' independent ability to solve the problem, fully meeting the requirements of modern education. Based on this, the OBE concept and flipped classroom will be analyzed, and their application in college English teaching reform will be discussed in the paper.

Under this background, the flipped classroom concept was put forward and gained the recognition from both teachers and students. As a new teaching method, it enables students to study independently. Meanwhile, the OBE concept also arises at the historic moment, which can improve the students' independent ability to solve the problem, fully meeting the requirements of modern education. Research on Marketing Strategies of Library Discipline Service Under the Background of “Double First-Class” University Project “双一流”建设背景下图书馆学科服务营销策略研究

Discipline service is essential part of library service to support the construction of "double first-class". Strategies including decision support service in this research. Combined with the new trend of library discipline service, it is supposed that the discipline service object of "double first-class" university library should be personalized into different groups, such as scientific research personnel, decision maker and so on. The discipline service pattern can be improved through carrying out of embedded and dynamic tracking service based on the theory of research life cycle. On this basis, user portrayal is introduced to the discipline service marketing combined with the personalized and dynamic tracking service pattern and strategies of library service marketing, taking an example of Southeast University library, are also provided in this study under the background of the construction of "double first-class".
学科服务是支撑“双一流”建设的图书馆服务的重要组成部分。本研究的策略包括决策支持服务。结合图书馆学科服务的新趋势,认为“双一流”高校图书馆学科服务对象应个性化划分为科研人员、决策人员等不同群体。基于研究生命周期理论,开展嵌入式动态跟踪服务,可以改进学科服务模式。在此基础上,将用户写照引入学科服务营销,结合个性化、动态跟踪的服务模式和图书馆服务营销策略,并以东南大学图书馆为例,提出了“双一流”建设背景下的图书馆服务营销策略。
