Personality is a mental mechanism to control people’s behaviors. By using Sons and Lovers as the research material, based on the theory of personality structure by Freud which can construct multilevel personality to explore inner world of the people, the thesis makes an analysis of Paul’s Id, Ego and Superego to find out the changes of the personality development and the real reasons why Paul loses the balance of personality. The author hopes that the research can have a little contribution to the studies of Sons and Lovers.

One of the key factors in achieving sustainable development for islands is to ensure the availability of sufficient talent. As the ‘Western Region in the East’, China’s islands face the situation of inactive development and are in urgent need of talent. However, except for very few islands, most have become caught in the plight of the outflow or insufficient introduction of talent. Pingtan Islands, a comprehensive experimental zone, free trade zone and international tourist destination, is also facing the problem of talent introduction. On the basis of analyzing its talent introduction policies, this paper points out that it is necessary to hierarchically and dynamically adjust the talent introduction policy and refine the regulations. In addition, it is proposed to evaluate the results of talent introduction on a quantitative basis, e.g. from the amount of talent introduced, population growth, and total consumption, in order to further improve relevant policies.

The design of movie posters is one of the most important forms for film promotion. It not only directly conveys the information of the film to audiences, but also presents the audience aesthetic spiritual enjoyment. Calligraphy is an important part of Chinese traditional culture as well as a symbol of the Chinese culture. During the process of film poster globalization, the calligraphy bears not only the role of film propaganda, but also the major responsibility of promoting Chinese traditional culture. This paper focuses on the analysis of the expression of calligraphy elements in the design of movie posters, and explores on the application and impact of calligraphy elements in film poster design.

The Chinese nation has a glorious civilization history with 5,000 years, the traditional culture is broad and profound, and it contains rich humanistic spirit and value, it is the power source for the times development and social progress. College education, as the highest level of national education, has a non-negligible role in inheriting and carrying forward the outstanding traditional Chinese culture. The ultimate goal of Chinese language teaching is to improve students' knowledge and culture level; Chinese traditional culture can be used to achieve this goal, it can enrich the traditional cultural knowledge of contemporary college students, shape the moral personality of college students, exercise the will quality of college students, cultivate the mentality of young students, and improve the humanities quality of college students.
