Because attribute variables, namely nodes of Bayesian Networks (BN) may have the characteristics of fuzziness and randomness simultaneously, a Fuzzy Bayesian Network (FBN) algorithm is proposed in this paper. We define fuzzy probability and Conditional Fuzzy Probability Table (CFPT) to express the relationship among variables having mixed uncertainty. We use genetic algorithm to optimize structure learning and parameters learning, feedback to find the optimal network structure according to reasoning error, and fix network parameters at the same time by modifying the parameters of membership function. Finally, we use the FBN algorithm to build the fuzzy Bayesian network and to knowledge reasoning on the data of industrial boilers' security alerts. Results demonstrate that FBN algorithm applied in mixed uncertainty problems is more effective compared with existing BN algorithms.

Two representative variables of point source sewage discharges, the reaction-advection-diffusion dominated process as manifested by chemical oxygen demand (COD) and the reaction-diffusion dominated process as manifested by dissolved oxygen demand (DO), were obtained and analyzed as water quality variations by application of the Environmental Fluid Dynamics Code (EFDC) with solutions for hydrodynamics during tides in Yangtze Estuary. The simulated increments and distribution of COD in the water show acceptable agreement with field observation. The concentration of DO in the North Branch is much higher than in the South Branch due to consumption of oxygen in the South Branch resulting from discharge of sewage from Shanghai. The DO concentration of the surface layer is greater than that of the bottom layer. The DO concentration is low in areas with a depth less than 20 m, and high in areas between the 20 m and 30 m contour lines of depth. It is concluded that the numerical model is valuable in simulation of water quality in the case of specific point source pollutant discharge.

In this paper, the global exponential stability of fuzzy logical bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters is investigated. The jumping parameters considered here are generated from a continuous-time discrete-state homogeneous Markov process and governed by a Markov process with discrete and finite-state space. The purpose of the problem addressed is to derive some new sufficient conditions to ensure the global exponential stability of the fuzzy logical BAM neural networks with Markovian jumping parameters. By employing a new Lyapunov-Krasovshkii functional, a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is developed to establish the desired sufficient conditions. Finally a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.

The combustion control of circulating fluidized bed boiler (CFBB) is an important but difficult link of its control system. An algorithm is introduced here, in which parameters of the PID controller are optimized online by BP neural networks and the programming steps are described. The mathematical models of combustion system of CFBB are analyzed. And both the simulation of conventional PID and BP-PID control algorithm are carried out in the combustion system of CFBB, it proved that this algorithm is valid and feasible.

The fraud auction under collusion between owner of art work and investor in the art market may lead to advertisement effect, and affect the emotional estimation and non-rational decision of investor. Consequently, it would do harm to the better development of art market. This article analyzed the root and the realizable condition of collusion between owner and investor. The results showed that the benefits of owner and interior investor in fraud auction would become identical; Strengthening the control of marginal utility of one player may have an effect on the other's collusive activity, and leaded to decrease of fraud auction probability.

The application of Support Vector Machines(SVM) to the soft-sensing modeling technology was studied. To solve the problem that the endpoint of a refinery hydroforming unit can't be monitored real-time on line, the soft-sensing model based on SVM was established and the gasoline endpoint was predicted. The experimental results show that the model has some characters such that quick calculating rate and high forecast accuracy. The indices are satisfied with the user's requirements, and the predicting effects are good in the practice.

A new shape contour description method based on eight-direction chain code and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is proposed. Firstly, chain code tracks shape boundary sequentially, according to the relationship between contour and chain-code projection-transform value. A constructed chain-code function of contour is transformed using FFT. After optimization, then a new Fourier Constant Factor Descriptor is proposed which is called FCFD. The descriptor is independent of initial point and has rotation, shift and scale (RSS) invariant properties. The results of experiments show that our shape contour description method based on FFT reduces computation and improves the efficiency of data processing effectively.

Aiming at engineering application, parameter selection in conventional PID control of a typical nonlinear plant with time-varying large delay in the complex production technology is a difficult optimization problem, and the Genetic Algorithm(GA) tends to fall into local optimum, the paper put forward a new optimal control strategy of Variable Arguments PID controller. In order to overcome the shortage of the traditional Immune Algorithm and Genetic Algorithm, get a better performance for the variable arguments PID control, this paper, aims to improve several special formulas, such as antibody fitness, expected reproduction probability and selected probability, presents an improved Artificial Immune Algorithm with the elitism reservation and elitism crossover strategy(AIAE). Both computer simulation and field application in nonlinear system with large time delay show that, the variable arguments PID controller based on AIAE has a quite good disturbance resistance and a strong robustness.

Electronic commerce has been rather pervasive in our life today. However, the damage is equally pervasive. For Business to Consumer type of E-commerce, various types of E-commerce anomaly usually incurs loss of revenue, reduced customer satisfaction and compromised business confidentiality. This paper proposes linear discriminant analysis and data mining approaches to identify the E-commerce anomaly. The data mining approaches yield superior performance. However, the unbalanced data make the data mining approaches dominated by the data of the majority class. LDA is introduced to deal with the unbalanced data set. The results indicate that our proposed methods can identify the E-commerce anomaly precisely. The practice insights from the results are also given.
