The concept of talent development (TD) has emerged in the last few decades and has been discussed in many reports. The internationalization of higher education institute programs has obliged the universities to search for different strategies to update and enrich the academic performance at the level of employees, staff, and students. Talent development became necessary for many institutions to attract individuals with higher competencies and promote their performance. This review aims to highlight the importance of talent development in Higher education practice and achievement.

The study dealt with the extent to which the requirements of international accounting education standards are applied in the accounting education curricula in Sudanese universities and their role in raising the efficiency of graduates - a case study of Kassala University. The problem of the study was the phenomenon of low efficiency of graduates of accounting departments from Sudanese universities, and this was expressed by a main question represented in the extent to which the requirements of international accounting education standards are applied in the accounting curricula in Sudanese universities. The study aimed to clarify the requirements of international accounting education standards when designing accounting curricula in universities, and to indicate the outputs of accounting education targeted from accounting programs and their role in raising the efficiency of graduates, in addition to studying and analyzing the requirements of international accounting education standards and comparing them with the accounting curricula in Sudanese universities. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers relied on the inductive approach, the deductive approach, as well as the comparative approach by addressing the requirements of international accounting education standards and comparing them with the curricula applied in Sudanese universities. The researchers reached many results, the most important of which are: The approach applied in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Kassala University does not take into account the requirements of international accounting education standards issued by the Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB) and of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the approach applied in the Department of Accounting and Finance, Kassala University does not contribute To provide the graduate with the necessary professional competence. The researchers also concluded a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: taking into account that the curriculum focuses on general issues in accounting education, the business environment and technical knowledge, that the assessment process for competencies should be graded according to levels, by addressing the complex issues that graduates may face in practice, and this is using Questions and applications that do not have definite answers.

The study aimed to know the extent to which the university of Sheba administration applies the principles of quality in higher education and the viewpoint of professors on the necessity of selecting for higher administrative positions, and the extent to which the quality of university administration contributes to achieving job stability and decision-making. A questionnaire was distributed for the study to a sample of 39 professors at the University of Sheba Province. The study concluded that the university administration seeks to apply the principles and culture of administrative quality, but it is ineffective and insufficient to achieve the best performance of the university professor, It is also necessary to select for senior management positions according to some personal characteristics, values, and some behavioural skills, such as social competence and leadership behaviour, therefore, visions and preferences differed among professors regarding the importance of stability for some high quality positions.

This study investigated the level of supervisory competencies among female academic supervisors and female part-time science teachers from the perspective of female student-teachers in Najran University, Saudi Arabia. To achieve the study objective, the comparative descriptive method was used and a questionnaire was designed to collect data from the study sample which consisted of (72) female student-teachers in the practicum course from the departments of Chemistry and Physics. The study results revealed that the level of supervisory competencies of the academic supervisor was high, while the degree of supervisory competencies of part-time science teachers was average. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) for the supervisory competencies of the academic supervisors and the part-time science teachers that could be attributed to the variables of discipline (chemistry-physics) and the type of supervision (face to face- online). The study concluded with some recommendations, including conducting awareness-raising training courses for female part-time science teachers on the roles assigned to them in order to facilitate the practicum period for the student-teachers.

The study aimed to examine the reality of using information and communication technologies (ICT) in teaching at University from the point of view of university professors and the probability of using such technologies in distance education, particularly under the current unfavorable conditions that do not allow classroom teaching. To achieve these objectives, the research adopted the descriptive-analytical and used a questionnaire, consisting of three sections, that was administered to a sample of 140 professors at four university departments during the academic year 2021-2022. The study results revealed that the participants could use ICT to an acceptable degree, but used ICT programs in teaching to a medium degree. Furthermore, the participants suffered from difficulties of using ICT in higher education. The study concluded with a set of recommendations for the optimal utilization of ICT in higher education that can contribute to improving the quality of teaching and learning.

The study aimed to identify the impact of entrepreneurial orientation on achieving institutional excellence at private universities in Sana’a and the level of practicing this orientation and achieving institutional excellence. To achieve this, the researchers used the analytical descriptive method. A questionnaire was distributed to the study population (264), who were selected by the complete census method. The participants were university rectors, vice-rectors, deans, vice-deans, heads of academic departments and managers of administrative departments. The study results showed that the practice of entrepreneurial orientation was at a high level, the most available dimension being creativity and the least available being risk-taking. Further, the achieved institutional excellence was high, of which leadership dimension was more achieved, while the dimension of human resources was less achieved. It was found that entrepreneurial orientation increases institutional excellence in Yemeni private universities by increasing creativity, competitiveness, proactiveness and risk-taking. The study recommended increasing attention to all dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation as well as institutional excellence. In order to achieve high levels of performance, Yemeni private universities should include these two themes in their strategic objectives.

The study aimed to identify the current status of applying electronic human resources management at A’Sharqiyah University in the light of Oman’s 20/40 vision in the Sultanate of Oman from the academics’ perspective. To achieve this, the descriptive method was adopted, and a questionnaire was used to collect relevant data. The participants’ responses to all the questionnaire items regarding the application of electronic human resources management at A’Sharqiyah University scored a high to medium degree of agreement. This indicates that the university is at the beginning of implementing Oman’s 20/40 vision, which calls for technological development and adapting to the requirements of the era we live in as well as building the Omani citizens according to the requirements of the modern era. Further, the dimensions of the existing electronic human resources management were ordered as follows: planning, recruitment, incentives and wages, evaluation and training. As for the obstacles to the application of electronic human resources management, all relevant questionnaire items received a medium degree of agreement by the respondents., which is another evidence that A’Sharqiyah University is heading in persistence towards implementing Oman’s 20/40 vision. The study recommended moving towards the optimal path and activating the role of electronic human resources management in the training process, as it is the most effective element in this era.
