The current study aimed to determine the effect of using the dry laboratory on the academic achievement of eighth-grade female students in science and their creative thinking skills in Aqaba Governorate. To achieve this goal, the researcher used the semi-experimental approach. The sample of the study included (84) eighth-grade students at Khadija Bint Khuwaylid Basic School in Aqaba Governorate, the study sample was divided into two groups; Experimental (42) female students who were taught using the dry laboratory, and a control group (42) female students who were taught by the traditional method. ‏ The two tools of the study were an achievement test (prepared by the researcher) , and the Torrance formal test (B) for creative thinking. The study concluded that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) in the post achievement test of the eighth-grade female students due to the teaching method in favor of the experimental group. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) in all skills of the Torrance test for dimensional creative thinking among eighth grade female students, due to the teaching method in favor of the experimental group. Based on the results, the researcher recommended the need to use the dry laboratory method in teaching science and various scientific subjects, and to train teachers and school laboratory supervisors on how to apply this method.

Classroom Teachers' Professional Competencies and Their Effects on Considering Students' Individual Differences from the Qweismeh District Teachers' Point of View 从 Qweismeh 地区教师的角度看班主任的专业能力及其对考虑学生个体差异的影响

The purpose of the study was to evaluate how classroom instructors in the Qweismeh district, affiliated with the capital, Amman, in the Hashemite Kingdom of ‎Jordan considered the availability of professional competencies and their effects on dealing with student individual differences. The study uses a descriptive analytical methodology and a 44-item questionnaire to ensure the validity and reliability of the data.182 classroom teachers from the Qweismeh District were included in the sample. The results showed that the Al-Quwaisimah District's classroom instructors had a modest degree of professional competence. Additionally, the study ‎ demonstrated a statistically significant correlation (at the significance level of α≥0.05) between the professional competencies of classroom teachers and their awareness of individual variations. The study suggests implementing intensive training programs to improve the professional competencies of classroom teachers in the Qweismeh District based on these findings.

Evaluation of the Extent to which Interactive Videos are used in Teaching and their ‎Effects on Developing EFL among Basic-Stage Students in Aqaba 评估互动视频在教学中的应用程度及其对亚喀巴基础阶段学生英语能力发展的影响

The study aims to determine the extent to which multimedia (interactive video) is used in ‎teaching and its role in developing English language skills ‎among basic-stage students and to determine its obstacles in teaching from the point of view of English ‎teachers in Aqaba Governorate, Jordan. The researcher followed the descriptive survey method and ‎questionnaire as a tool for collecting the study data. The study tool consisted of (30) items distributed on ‎three dimensions, and its validity and reliability were confirmed‎. The study participants were‎ (283) English teachers from ‎Aqaba Governorate, at second semester in the year 2022/ 2023. The findings of the study indicated that English teachers in Aqaba Governorate perceive a high level of utilization of multimedia, particularly interactive videos, in teaching English language skills to basic-stage students. In addition, the results revealed that multimedia (interactive video) positively impacted the development ‎‎of English language skills ‎‎among basic-stage ‎students‎. Finally, it has been revealed that there is a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the ‎responses of the sample, according to the training courses variable and practical experience variable.‎ The researcher recommends that, ‎developing an interpretive guide, and holding training courses for teachers on the use and ‎integration of multimedia with educational materials.‎

Attitudes of computer teachers towards employing educational technology means and obstacles to their application in public schools in Karak Governorate 卡拉克省公立学校计算机教师对采用教育技术手段的态度及其应用障碍

The study aimed to investigate the attitudes of computer teachers towards employing the means of educational technology, in addition to identifying the obstacles to their application in public schools in Karak Governorate, from their own point of view. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical approach and used a questionnaire to achieve this. The sample consisted of 70 teachers. The results of the study indicated that the attitudes of computer teachers towards the use of educational technology were of a medium degree, and the degree of obstacles to employing technology in education from the viewpoint of computer teachers was of a moderate degree. The study results showed differences in the statistical connotations attributable to the scientific qualification of the Master's campaign, while there were no statistically significant differences attributable to the gender and experience variables. The researcher made several recommendations, the most important of which is to encourage teachers who teach different subjects in public schools in the governorate of Karak and other governorates of the Kingdom to use technology in education and modern methods.

The study aimed to investigate the challenges facing mathematics teachers as a result of educational waste after the COVID-19 pandemic and the remedial plans for it by enhancing cognitive achievement from the perspective of teachers in schools affiliated with the education of Sahab Governorate. The descriptive analytical approach was adopted, and a questionnaire tool was developed to obtain data from the study sample, consisting of (200) mathematics teachers from Sahab Governorate. The study results showed that the difficulties faced by mathematics teachers due to educational waste after the COVID-19 pandemic were high, with an average of (4.56). One of the most important methods, according to teachers, to address these difficulties was diversifying the teaching methods suitable for students, such as boards, models, and others. As a result, the study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which was expanding the scope of future studies and understanding the effects of educational waste after the COVID-19 pandemic in other contexts.

The study aimed to determine the extent of life skills in the vocational education book for the eighth grade in Jordan, and the researcher prepared a list of life skills related to vocational education, which included six main axes: cognitive skills, health and preventive skills, social communication skills, decision-making skills, manual skills, and environmental skills. The study used the analytical descriptive approach using the content analysis card. The study sample included the vocational education book for the eighth grade, the second semester. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: The degree of inclusion of life skills was medium. The study also found that the cognitive skills axis ranked first with a rate of (42.47%), followed by the manual skills axis with a percentage of (22.56%), then the health and preventive skills axis with a percentage of (13.82%), and then followed by the environmental skills axis with a percentage of (13.82%). With a rate of (10.95%), while the remaining axes came with low percentages such as social communication skills and decision-making skills. Based on the results, the researcher recommended the need to reformulate the vocational education book for the eighth grade, so that it takes into account the balance between life skills.

This research focuses on the development and implementation of an internal quality assurance model tailored for Algerian higher education institutions. The study aims to address the specific quality enhancement needs of the Algerian higher education system by proposing a comprehensive internal quality assurance framework. The model takes into consideration the unique cultural, educational, and institutional context of Algeria while drawing inspiration from global best practices in quality assurance. The research involves a thorough analysis of existing quality assurance practices, stakeholder engagement, and the alignment of the proposed model with national educational goals. A comparative study on the role of the methodologies of classification and accreditation institutions in the internationalization of quality practices in business schools 关于分类和认证机构的方法在商学院质量国际化实践中的作用的比较研究

The aim of this paper is to discuss the potential convergence of internationalization strategies for quality assurance practices at universities and educational and research institutions. This is the result of the interaction between the methodologies of work developed by international accreditation institutions and classification standards. This study uses a deductive methodology based on comparing the results of these institutions and analysing their sources and effects on directing quality practices towards common international patterns governed by factors related to globalization, which require convergent and compatible educational patterns, as well as openness to international markets, and the influence of large companies employed by individuals on the characteristics of graduates and learning outputs that are compatible with their interests. One of the most important results of this study is that it showed that there is direct guidance from the methodologies of the work of international accreditation and classification institutions that leads to the emergence of normative and standard quality practices in educational and university institutions.

Self-assessment of Internal Quality Assurance Mechanisms: An Empirical Investigation 内部质量保证机制的自我评估:实证调查

This study examines the internal quality assurance mechanisms (IQAMs) at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) in Uganda through a self-assessment. A descriptive design and quantitative method are employed to investigate various quality aspects from all faculties and all units of MUST. The units of inquiry were (i) the internal stakeholders of MUST i.e. current staff and students, and (ii) the MUST Alumni. Participants were sampled using stratified simple random sampling where faculties and specific programs formed the various strata. The student samples were drawn from the admission lists while the alumni email contacts were drawn from the archived information in the Academic registrar’s office. Staff lists were drawn from the Human Resources office. The study utilized a structured questionnaire based on the Inter-University Council of East Africa (IUCEA) model. Based on the target population and samples, 384, 76, and 371 responses were received from students, staff and alumni respectively. The study revealed that IQAMs were implemented in various areas including teaching and learning, research and innovations, and community outreach, but gaps existed in policies for skills development and community engagement. While the university had established quality assurance policies, there were concerns regarding their awareness and implementation. Diverse opinions among students and staff emphasized the importance of considering multiple perspectives. Alumni feedback highlighted positive outcomes in employability and program satisfaction, but suggested improvements in integrating practical components and enhancing university-industry collaborations. Based on the findings, recommendations were made to MUST, including the development of specific policies, strengthening implementation strategies, enhancing student engagement, addressing staff viewpoints, fostering alumni involvement, and strengthening university-industry connections. These recommendations aim to enhance internal quality assurance mechanisms and overall education quality. The study provides valuable insights into quality assurance practices at MUST and emphasizes the need for continuous monitoring and improvement to sustain educational quality. Future work should conduct a qualitative study to gain a deeper understanding of the self-assessment study and also the underlying reasons, motivations, and experiences that could have influenced the aforementioned quantitative findings.

Using Internet of Things Technology to Improve the Quality of University Education 利用物联网技术提高大学教育质量

The term Internet of Things (IOT) has become one of the most familiar and popular expressions in recent times, due to the solutions, it offers in classroom management and easy access information which can contribute to ensure the quality of education by applying IOT technology, the education process can be better. The truth is that educational institutions need to develop educational technologies and performance evaluation methods through which the educational process becomes significantly more efficient and fruitful, and the continuous development of this sector, as programmatic accreditation in academic circles is a major tool for improving the quality of education, and also ensures the achievement of standards, which gives the academic university confidence in the existence of a strong accreditation system that meets the requirements. In this regard, the researcher conducted descriptive research to identify aspects of the Internet of Things and how to apply them to support some indicators that can achieve the standards of educational programs within the accreditation program. In this context, the advantages of IOT applications will be applied to bring about fundamental changes in educational programs and their quality. The research discusses the most important safety points that can be used to avoid risks and confront the challenges that limit the use of such technology. In general, this work is directed to develop the educational process, ensuring quality, and maintaining continuous improvement.
