Journalism and Literature have in common the word as their raw material, and their languages have come close in many times in History. Modern journalism, seeking for objectivity and working according to industrial levels, has brought to journalistic language prescriptions and patt erns that have been, for many times, “bureaucratizing” the print journalism. But there are cases of success, like the magazine Piaui, which search for alternatives for a more att ractive and deep journalism, using techniques of inquiry and writing originated in Literature, practicing what is called Literary Journalism. O artigo tem como objeto de estudo o discursoveiculado pelo portal de noticias da Globo nainternet, o G1, a respeito dos ativistas politicos presosao fi nal da Copa do Mundo de futebol, na cidadedo Rio de Janeiro. Comic books are still poorly academically explored in Brazil. For this reason, this article aims at understanding what generates the involvement of the reader with graphic novels (comics). We assume that the narrative success lies on the proper use of timing, crucial comic’s feature, based on the complicity between what the author tells and what the readers interpret. An analysis of different techniques for using timing, the use of gap, and the different forms of frame transitions will be made, looking for a more comprehensive understanding of the topic. Through a case study of an exploratory nature, and to accomplish the proposed objective, a theoretical argument will be built primarily in the authors Will Eisner (2010, 2013), Scott Mc- Cloud (2005, 2006, 2008) and Paulo Ramos (2012), renowned authors in the field, among others. Este artigo parte da hipotese de que o jornalismo brasileiro tende a construir discursos legalistas e personificados em torno do tema da corrupcao politica. Isso ocorre porque ha uma ausencia de discussao efetiva do fenomeno e uma forte tendencia para a exploracao da imagem de individuos. Como quadro teorico norteador dessa reflexao, estabelecemos um dialogo entre ideias presentes na filosofia platonica e a nocao de responsabilidade social do jornalismo na discussao de temas sociais. Para fins de teste da hipotese, adotamos ferramentas da Analise Critica do Discurso para a analise de um corpus constituido por quatro edicoes das revistas brasileiras Veja e CartaCapital . Ao final, observamos que o principal efeito do desempenho jornalistico na cobertura do tema e o reducionismo do debate e a validacao tacita da estrutura social em que a corrupcao se manifesta. Through research on the social networking site Facebook, we seek to verify the participation of processes and contents that structure a social network in the digital regime of contemporary opinion (influences, media, themes, communication bases, relationships, etc.). The goal is to investigate the possible occurrence of inflows coming from the largest social network in the world in the formation and in the movement of everyday thinking, which also involve behavior, guiding daily activities. Este trabalho busca refletir sobre a integracao dos varios formatos midiaticos que compoem a reportagem multimidia no ciberjornalismo. O objeto de estudo e A Batalha de Belo Monte , especial multimidia produzido em 2013 pelo jornal Folha de Sao Paulo sobre a construcao da usina hidreletrica de Belo Monte. Compoe-se de cinco capitulos tematicos, que se desenrolam verticalmente e unem textos, infograficos, videos e imagens. Atraves da perspectiva cartografica, o produto foi desconstruido e analisado, por meio da elaboracao de mapa sobre a integracao multimidia. Para refletir sobre o especial, sao abordados os conceitos relacionados a reportagem no ciberjornalismo, as caracteristicas do meio e o processo de convergencia das midias. O estudo proporcionou a compreensao de que, por meio da integracao efetiva entre os formatos midiaticos, e possivel criar um produto exclusivo do ciberjornalismo. This article intends to analyze some representations of Brazilian women in Portugal, using an empirical body constituted in diff erent moments: by news published by Time magazine; Visao magazine; TVI Journal (Independent Television) and by several pieces relating some cases that occurred more recently. We analyze the complex process of discursive stereotyping of women and recurrent xenophobia during the period in which Portugal, based on the stimulus provided by EU funds, is constituted as host country of immigrants att racted by economic development. One compares the media representation of Brazilian women verifi ed in 2003 with representations performed during similar events, ten years after, in 2013. This article deals with the relationship between a journalistic event, the reader and the imaginary. It discusses the discourse produced by readers on a “fascinating event”, a type of event that att racts att ention due to its “developments”, strongly activating the readers’ imagination. As our empirical environment, we have chosen the case of the missing Malaysia Airlines plane – occurred on March 8, 2014 –, with 239 people on board. We have analyzed 4.517 comments posted on the Facebook page of the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper. We have discussed how meanings mobilized by the reader move between images built by fi ction and images linked to reality. The investigation also occurred on how subjects interact in this discourse community, forged in a space of social networks comments, and how they build and reaffi rm the collective memory and the senses of their speeches. Would “technology” be an autonomous force capable of propelling the advances of modern societies as Kevin Kelly (2012) states? Opposing to this idea, we believe that such autonomy lies not in technology, but in communication as a human creation, mediated by technology. It about analyzed communication, not as a systemic view, but from the point of view of complexity as Morin (2007) and Bar-Yam (2004) defined. This is another understanding of cyberculture that makes us realize the existence of a subjective interaction network, whose main characteristic is the constant negotiation between personal expression and collective conceptions, transiting on the web and generating vectors of change and transformation in the information society. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how communication generates vectors of change from large unpredictable information flows, like the subjective interaction networks. As politicas de desenvolvimento tecnologico para telecomunicacoes do Brasil, planejadas e aplicadas durante o final do seculo XX e inicio do seculo XXI, produziram efeitos diversos nas formas de se comunicar em todo o pais, e ocorreram concomitantemente ao inicio de uma serie de transformacoes politicas e economicas ocorridas no pais no inicio deste seculo. Pretende-se realizar neste artigo uma analise dos modos como se configuraram estrategias de desenvolvimento e governo das comunicacoes no Brasil no seculo XXI, buscando compreender a maneira e os motivos pelos quais estas se constituiram com tal. Foi identificado um esforco por parte do Ministerio das Comunicacoes para promover uma ampliacao das possibilidades de acesso, producao e compartilhamento de conteudos, facilitando a participacao da populacao nesse processo. Viabiliza-se, atraves das tecnologias de informacao e comunicacao, a verificacao das respectivas competencias de cada pessoa em oferecer recursos e conteudos interessantes, permitindo que sua utilidade seja avaliada, assim como sua capacidade de gerenciar seu Capital Humano.
