O trabalho analisa o documentario O Acre existe (2013), dirigido por Bruno Graziano, Milton Leal, Paulo Silva Junior e Raoni Gruber. O objetivo e discutir de que forma o Acre e representado nessa narrativa filmica. Para o estudo, sao levados em consideracao os aspectos tratados a respeito do estado: a religiao Daime, a borracha, os indigenas, o lider sindical Chico Mendes, o folguedo Jabuti Bumba e a chegada dos haitianos ao Estado. Na construcao desse mosaico chamado Acre, o estudo evidencia a manutencao das representacoes, dos imaginarios e de estereotipos sobre o local. Personagens aparecem em meio a floresta, cercados por animais e rios, os espacos floresta/ cidade nao sao diferenciados, as imagens produzidas dao ideia de vazio, monotonia, lentidao e tristeza. Aspectos religiosos e culturais que envolvem o Daime, os indigenas e o Jabuti Bumba sao tratados de forma fragmentada. Mas, como o proposito do video e descobrir o que e o Acre e quem sao seus moradores, pode-se considerar o esforco valido pela tentativa de juntar pecas de um caudal identitario. Para embasar os estudos, foram usados os autores Stuart Hall, Ana Pizarro, Luciana Murari e Durval Muniz Albuquerque Junior, entre outros. Neste artigo, trazemos a serie de TV Salem para analisarmos elementos da bruxaria utilizados como parte da construcao da trama. Para isso, adotamos uma abordagem qualitativa e desenvolvemos uma analise comparativa que leva em consideracao os seguintes aspectos: as bruxas em Salem ; a divindade das bruxas; a transmissao do saber bruxo; os familiares e a marca da bruxa; o saba , os voos noturnos e os objetos magicos. As praticas e representacoes de bruxaria, configuradas nos episodios da serie, revelam muito mais aproximacoes do que distanciamentos no tocante aos aspectos considerados reais por praticantes tanto da bruxaria tradicional quanto da moderna, e tambem se abeiram dos relatos inquisitoriais durante o periodo mais elevado de caca as bruxas, entre 1560 e 1660. Este trabalho estuda as pesquisas em Comunicacao no Brasil e as abordagens feministas e sobre as mulheres nesse contexto de producao do conhecimento. Para isso, considera os artigos apresentados nos principais eventos cientificos da Comunicacao no Brasil, as dissertacoes e teses depositadas no Banco de Teses da Coordenacao de Aperfeicoamento de Pessoal de Nivel Superior – CAPES entre os anos de 2005 e 2014. A partir do aporte teorico das Epistemologias Feminista e da Comunicacao, o objetivo geral do texto e mapear quais as preocupacoes centrais da pesquisa em Comunicacao quando seus temas sao articulados com aspectos do feminismo e sobre as mulheres. A perspectiva metodologica que orienta este estudo e a cartografia. A observacao dos 75 trabalhos, cujos resumos foram analisados, revela um potencial de visibilidade das mulheres na Comunicacao. Aspectos como a experiencias dos sujeitos, da politica e das representacoes apontam tambem as possibilidades da producao de conhecimentos para a transformacao social dessas duas areas. O artigo relaciona o conceito de TV cult com o ritual criado pela telenovela no Brasil e a uma possivel aura adquirida por algumas telenovelas. O termo cult , na televisao, se refere, entre outros aspectos, a producoes com apelo nostalgico e elevado carater de culto de um nicho especifico de audiencia. A telenovela e um produto televisivo com presenca continua no cotidiano do brasileiro e, com isso, funda uma especie de ritual com valores simbolicos e culturais. Com base em linhas teoricas que abordam a televisao como ritual, na nocao de culto de Durkheim e no conceito de Benjamin sobre a aura da obra de arte, o objetivo e associar as obras ditas cult com uma aura que faz do programa objeto de culto. This paper analyzes the discursive strategies of the two largest magazines in Brazil, Veja and Epoca , to build the image of Joaquim Barbosa during the trial of Mensalao , one of the major corruption scandals of the recent Brazilian history. We reflect on the notion of the journalistic discourse, focusing special attention on how journalism constructs the image of social actors. The corpus is scrutinized by categories of Critical Discourse Analysis: the meaning of words, use of metaphors, transitivity, interspeech and political and ideological effects of discourse. Resulting from the crossing linguistic techniques and critical social theory, these sociological categories help to understand how the media create specific semantic constellations that, when associated with people with ontological existence, turn them into paper beings, as Roland Barthes would say. The analysis shows that both magazines have resorted to strategies of heroization of Joaquim Barbosa, stressing the overcoming of the “poor boy who changed Brazil” as highlights one of the publications. As at other times in Brazilian history, the media have given to Joaquim Barbosa, although for a specific time, the national hero epithet, a post always put in the process of being occupied in a country historically lacking of heroic references. This paper discusses the communicational ecosystemic configuration articulated between body, mind, environment and art. The approach is made by the bias of semiotics in dialogue with other areas of knowledge, emphasizing aspects of the visual arts in the Amazon. The theoretical framework is composed of authors such as Lucia Santaella, Christine Greiner and Boaventura de Sousa Santos. In the analysis, it was possible to perform the mapping of trajectories of ecosystems through memories and metamorphosis of art, establishing new representations with its interrelationships and interdependencies in the communication flow. Este artigo contempla parte dos resultados de pesquisa apresentados na dissertacao de Mestrado A sobrevivencia das imagens de Amazonia na literatura e no jornalismo de revista (Silva Junior, 2012) e tem como objetivo (i) identificar que imagens de Amazonia sao construidas pelas revistas Manchete , publicadas na decada de 1980 (edicoes de junho de 1983 e de setembro de 1989); (ii) demonstrar conexoes entre as imagens produzidas pela linguagem jornalistica e narrativas literarias, em especial, os registros encontrados nas obras A margem da historia (Cunha, 1999 [1909]), A selva (Castro, 1972 [1930]), Contos Amazonicos (Sousa, 2005 [1893]), Cinzas do Norte (Hatoum, 2005), e, (iii) apontar como o jornalismo aciona essas imagens para construir narrativas do presente. O resultado dos estudos aponta relacoes entre as imagens de Amazonia produzidas pelo jornalismo de revista e a literatura, que foram publicadas em Manchete na decada de 1980. This article aims to present a comparative study between Brazil and Spain with regard to public policies (regulation) and the self-regulation scenario (codes of ethics and other fronts) aimed at children’s advertising in such countries, and to update the debate around an ethical and legal framework most appropriated to the defense of children’s rights. The methodology used was a literature review of works on sociology of childhood, child psychology, advertising ethics and consumer society, documentary research in codes of ethics and current legislation and bills of both countries, as well as interviews with leaders of the Brazilian (CONAR) and Spanish (AUTOCONTROL) self-regulatory bodies. Among the main results, it was observed, for example, that the Spanish legal field on child advertising is closer to a co-regulatory scenario, since the existing norms provide for a more synchronized operation between state and market in defense of the rights of consumers. Also, it was seen that, with Resolution 163/2014 by CONANDA, Brazil would theoretically have a more robust regulation that the one of Spain on child advertising, despite the fact that its guidelines are not being properly followed. Finally, among other results, there was a stronger performance of the Spanish self-regulation organ in the supervision of ethical violations in advertising targeted to children, as many ads are judged each year before they enter in circulation. The purpose of this article is to approach, briefly, the female character in social mobility in narratives of Brazilian telenovelas, from the example of a specific character, Cristina, of telenovela Imperio (2014/2015), by Globo Network. The aim is to propose the use of the semiotic theorized by Greimas, here applied as a viable method of analysis for telefiction scenes and characters. Through this specific focus, it is believed to be possible to reflect on the female characters in social mobility in the telenovela, consisting of a base that seems to repeat itself. This article presents the partial results of the research that investigated about the scenario of the new journalism business in Rio Grande do Sul. From interviews with journalists who stopped acting in the traditional media and have become entrepreneurs, the study maps and analyzes the characteristics of companies managed by these professionals. The first results indicate that these enterprises operate on different fronts: providing services to the ones considered traditional media, but also to companies of many business areas, in on-demand production.
