The present article is devoted to the culture of philosophical publications in Polish territories in the second half of the nineteenth century. During the period of the Partitions of Poland, philosophy was a subject under represented in the published repertoire. In the present study, an attempt was made to incorporate the approaches to research postulated by D. Nicolas and M. Ritchie, W. Pindlowa, and M. Skalska-Zlat, concerning the application of bibliometric techniques in bibliology. The source base of the study is an Excel database. The database contains 1121 bibliographic descriptions, including off prints and copies. The Publikacje o tematyce filozoficznej wydane na ziemiach polskich w drugiej połowie XIX w. – studium bibliometryczne 139 main sources used to collect data were „Bibliografia Filozofii Polskiej” [Bibliography of Polish Philosophy] and Elektroniczna Baza Bibliografii Estreichera [Electronical Database of Estreicher’s Bibliography]. The collected numerical data were subjected to descriptive research as well as studies involving statistical analyses. The dynamics of the changes in the volume of publications was determined using the Kruskal-Wallis test. The Ch2 Pearson test was applied to study how the number of publications was affected by the following factors: the place of publication and the Partition it was in, the category of the publisher, the form of the source, and its classification. The same test was used to determine the relationships between the category of the publisher and the form of the source, as well as between the category of the publisher and the content of the document. The Mann Whitney U test was used to compare the volume of offprints and duplicates with that of classic books. The statistical analyses were conducted using the MS Excel and Statistica 12 applications (provided by Microsoft and StatSoft Inc., respectively). The application of bibliometric techniques has confirmed their relevance for the study of the history of book culture. The study has resulted in creating a model of the dissemination of philosophical content in Polish territories in the second half of the nineteenth century. The model is constituted by both dynamic and static factors. Some of these factors are also present in the studies concerning the entire spectrum of publication activity during the period of the Partitions of Poland.

Henryk Baranowski contributed significantly to the development of the local bibliography in Poland. He wrote the retrospective bibliographies of Toruń, Wilno, and Słupsk, which pioneered and broke new ground for Polish works. He also initiated more current bibliographies of Elbląg and Grudziądz, which are continued to this day. Baranowski based his bibliographies on reliable sources. He strived for completeness in the selection of the material. And attached great importance to the proper preparation of the bibliography in terms of methodology. He used a standardized bibliographic description. If necessary Henryk Baranowski (1920–2011) jako twórca bibliografii lokalnych 173 and where appropriate, he introduced the short and annotated description. With great care, he applied factual and formal systems to organize the material which meant most of the completed bibliographies had a balance of appropriate information and supportive analysis. He also applied the same judicial attention to the editorial side of the lists. The local bibliographies created by Henryk Baranowski aroused great interest in the scientific world and were received

Celem artykulu jest omowienie najwazniejszych elementow, mających wplyw na jakośc materialow dydaktycznych, a tym samym ksztalt i efektywnośc kursow e-learningowych. Wykorzystanie znajomości wynikow badan związanych z procesami poznawczymi i motywacją osob uczących sie oraz cześci skladowych procesu dydaktycznego jest bowiem kluczowe w przygotowaniu wysokiej jakości materialow, wspomagających osoby uczące sie w utrzymaniu wysokiego poziomu motywacji i zaangazowania, co nastepnie przeklada sie na jakośc procesu ksztalcenia oraz wyniki uzyskiwane przez jego uczestnikow. Ma to najwieksze znaczenie w przypadku projektowania kursow e-learningowych, w ktorych zaangazowanie osob prowadzących, jak tez interakcje miedzy ich uczestnikami w mniejszym stopniu niz w przypadku ksztalcenia tradycyjnego mogą wplywac na zwiekszenie motywacji osob uczących sie.

The purpose of this article is to present the official rhetoric of the USSR and its satellite states used to criticize Maoism in 1957–1976. The author showed key aspects of the conflict between Moscow and Beijing and analyzed the arguments of Mao Zedong’s opponents based on available Polish-language archival material. Two documents created by The Polish United Worker’s Party Central Committee’s Department for Foreign Affaires proved to be especially helpful to this research. First of them, called On incidents in China, was a result of the seven Parties Departments for Foreign Affaires delegates meeting held in December of 1967 in Moscow. The second, titled Chinese problem after the 9th congress of the Communist Party of China, was created in March 1970 by the employees of the Foreign Department of the Central Committee of the PZPR.
