The target tracking based on UAV can effectively accomplish all kinds of tasks with the aid of vision processing system. In this paper, we focus on the single-target tracking, where the first frame of the rectangular calibration of the target is captured and used for target tracking in the subsequent frames. First, the visual tracking algorithms are briefly introduced, and the UAV based visual tracking algorithms are divided into generative and discriminative categories. The advantages and disadvantages of the target tracking methods based on UAV is summarized. Furthermore, the application of target tracking algorithms based on UAV are discussed and the developmental prospects for target tracking based on UAV are also provided.

Phase-shifted full bridge(PSFB) topology was used in the main circuit of high-power magnetron sputtering power supply (MSPS), which greatly improves power efficiency by means of soft-switching. The traditional topology has the problems of difficult to realize soft-switching of lag arm, the loss of duty cycle and the large circulation loss. In this paper, the PSFB converter with auxiliary transformer was used as the main circuit topology. The working principle and mode of the converter was analyzed in detail, and the realization of soft switching and circulating current loss with wide load range were studied. An experimental prototype with 1.1kW/220V and 20kHz switching frequency was built based on the basis of theoretical analysis, The experimental results had verified that the PSFB converter with auxiliary transformer has improved the efficiency and reliability of switching power supply, and this topology is effective in improving the performance of the main circuit of the MSPS.

The fundamental goal of soft-switching (SS) techniques is to reduce switching losses, and keep low conduction losses as well. For pursuing this goal, especially for keeping low conduction losses for transformerless Photovoltaic grid-connected inverters (TLIs), a new resonance-trajectory is planned. Compared with the zero-current-transition H6-I (ZCT-H6-I) topology published in a previous literature, the proposed resonance-trajectory can precisely compensate for losses of resonant tanks, and a complete resonant behavior is finished before the turn-on moment of high-frequency main switches every switching period. As a result, there is an obvious reduction in the peak value of the current through main switches at switching frequency scale. In order to realize this idea based on TLIs, a ZCT-HERIC topology is derived from the proposed resonance-trajectory, and then, its detailed operation principle and performance characteristics are analyzed. Finally, comprehensive simulation results of a 1 kW prototype at 50 kHz switching frequency are provided to verify the effectiveness of the derived inverter.

A modified plant growth simulation algorithm (MPGSA) is proposed for solving non-convex economic load dispatch (ELD) problems. It's a novel idea to apply PGSA to non-integer optimization problem since initially the algorithm is used for solving nonlinear integer optimization problems and has shown strong searching ability and good convergence. This paper develops the original PGSA for non-integer ELD problems. A newly designed variable multi-step growing mode containing both extensive and refined growing pattern is applied to improve the solution quality. Multiple termination criterions are established to accelerate convergence speed. Besides simple principle and easy to implement, two unique features of PGSA are that it does not need any external parameters and handles the constraints and objective function separately. The proposed approach has been validated on different test systems and better results are obtained as compared with other published methods. This research is of great significance to power system economic operation and energy saving.

This paper presents the fuzzy multcriteria analysis approach for evaluating the performance of mobile cloud services. Hesitant fuzzy sets are used to deal with the conditions where the decision makers hesitate among several values to assess the performance of the alternatives. A hesitant fuzzy Hamacher weighted average operator is used for producing a global value for every mobile cloud service across all evaluation criteria in which the final outcome can be determined. An example is presented to show the applicability and usefulness of the proposed fuzzy multicriteria analysis approach.

The cascaded H-bridge rectifier (CHBR) control consists of two parts, namely whole control and DC voltage balance control. Double closed-loop proportional integral (PI) control strategy with current feedforward decoupling and proportional pulse compensation strategy are typical whole control strategy and voltage balance strategy respectively, which can realize unity-power factor and DC voltage balance with good performance under special working condition. However, when the CHBR system is unstable or disturbed, the conventional double closed-loop PI control would cause some problems such as slow response speed and big overshoot. This paper proposes a sliding mode variable structure control (SMVSC) strategy for whole control through modeling analysis on the CHBR circuit. By choosing the appropriate switching surface to make the system state trajectory set on the sliding mode surface, the proposed SMVSC strategy can improve the response speed of DC voltage and the dynamic performance of the system. Furthermore, modeling analysis for proportional pulse compensation strategy is proposed. Simulation results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed strategy.

Abnormal driving detection and recognition is a crucial area of research towards achieving safety in intelligent transportation systems (ITS). In this study, we propose a feature extraction approach and use the extracted features to train a deep learning model that is used for abnormal driving behavior recognition. The proposed approach derives the features based on variances calculated from each frequency bin containing the power spectrum data that is generated using the short time fourier transform. A subset of features is further selected based on variance similarity of the power spectral data. Similarity is realized by finding intersecting variance data of different variance samples obtained from defined data segments of a given driving behavior class. The driving behaviors considered are weaving, sudden braking and normal driving. Experiments were performed using an artificial neural network to test the efficiency of the proposed feature extraction approach. Results show that an accuracy of 91.0% can be achieved with accelerometer data. The accuracy is further improved to 96.1% by combining accelerometer with gyroscope data.

The capability of short message service (SMS) of Beidou navigation system (BDS) is an advantage over the GPS. Text-only SMS hinders the applicability of BDS. The global voice chat has been designed & tested over the BDS SMS, which can transmit voices of 2 seconds in a single 78-byte message. Field tests have been completed between two sites far apart over 2,500 km, one in the city of Xi'an and the other onboard a ship in the South China Sea. Results have shown that the voice chat over the BDS SMS is available to any subscriber even he cannot type a single word. More than 90% of interaction time is saved and authentication security is enhanced. The global voice chat is an effective supplement to the outdoor emergency communication systems nowadays.

Three-dimensional gravity-driven film flowing on a smooth plate and three orthogonal wave plates are studied numerically by using the Finite Volume Method in this paper. The volume of fluid (VOF) model is applied to simulate the gas-liquid interface. The existing experimental data of water film flowing down the inclined smooth plate are employed to verify the reliability of the numerical implementation. Results obtained indicate that different fluids have different wetting characteristics even at the same Reynolds number. The wetting area on the orthogonal wave plates is less than that of the smooth plate at $mathbf{Re}geq 163$, especially for wave plates with higher wave depth. The influence of the plate wave depth is more noteworthy than that of the plate wavelength. For the wave plates, the wetting ratio decreases with the growing of inclination angles, but the effect can be neglect when Re is larger than 300. The local heat transfer coefficients of the smooth plate drop along the flow length, and the wave plate can enhance the heat transfer performance at a certain range of depth-length ratio (Rt).

Recently, video object segmentation (VOS) is a new challenging research direction from DAVIS competition. Carrying on with these researches, we propose a visual attention guided framework in video object segmentation, which includes four main components: segmentation network, visual encoder, spatial encoder and guide. The segmentation network predicts the object mask in the current video frame, and the visual guide force segmentation network to focus on the annotated object by visual information from visual encoder, and the spatial guide provide spatial location by spatial encoder from previous frame. Visual attention mechanism plays an important role in the model on capturing annotated object without online fine-tuning as previous models. This approach has an advantage over previous methods on accuracy and efficiency, especially avoid the online fine-tuning in those one-shot learning approaches.
