Background: Infertility in women is on the rise, affecting every aspect of their lives. The impact of infertility on sexual and marital functioning is one of the most significant. Infertility's psychological effects may have a detrimental influence on marital and sexual fulfillment. One can observe an improvement in women's marital and sexual functioning by using educational models. Aim: to investigate the effectiveness of nursing counseling guided by BASNEF model on stress, anxiety, marital and sexual satisfaction among infertile women. Design : A quasi-experimental study design was used (pre and post-intervention). Setting: The study was carried out at the outpatient clinic of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department in Sohag University Hospital. Sampling : A convenient sample of one hundred infertile women was included in the study. Tools: To gather the data, five tools were employed: a structured interview questionnaire; the perceived stress scale, the Arabic version of the Tylor anxiety scale; the female sexual function index; and ENRICH marital satisfaction index. The results : The results of the study showed a very significant difference in the study of Infertile women's stress, anxiety, marital and sexual satisfaction pre and post-nursing counseling guided by BASNEF model implementation. Conclusion : Implementation of nursing counseling guided by BASNEF model significantly improved the Stress, Anxiety, Marital and Sexual Satisfaction among Infertile Women. Recommendation: It's suggested to use a BASNEF counseling model to improve stress, anxiety, and marital and sexual satisfaction.

: Introduction: In the complex and demanding landscape of healthcare, the interpersonal dynamics within nursing environments play a pivotal role in shaping organizational outcomes. This study delves into the intricate interplay among workplace incivility, organizational cynicism, and organizational silence among nurses. Aim: The study aimed to assess the role of organizational cynicism as a mediator between the workplace incivility and organizational silence. Methods: A cross-sectional study adhering to the STROBE guideline utilized an online structured questionnaire for data collection. The research was carried out among 453 nurses within governmental hospitals in Beheira Governorate over a two-month period. The researchers gathered information using tools such as Characteristics of Nurses, Organizational Cynicism Scale, Nursing Incivility Scale, and Organizational Silence Scale. To examine the mediating role, structural equation modeling with AMOS was employed. Results: The examination unveiled a notably robust model, evident in an F-test value of 16.229 with a p. of .000. This model effectively elucidated 50.6% of the variability in organizational silence, as reflected in an R2 value of 0.506. Additionally, it was observed that increasing age and experience exerted a significant negative influence on organizational silence. Moreover, being female, organizational cynicism, and nursing incivility demonstrated a significant negative impact on organizational silence, with a p-value below 0.01. Conclusion: organizational cynicism plays an intermediary role between the workplace incivility and organizational silence. Also, revealed that organizational cynicism, nursing incivility, and female had significant positive effect on organizational silence. While, increasing age and nursing experience had negative effect on organizational silence. Recommendations: Implement organizational interventions aimed at reducing organizational cynicism, such as fostering transparent communication, providing opportunities for employee input, and addressing concerns raised by nurses. Building trust and promoting a positive organizational culture can help mitigate the negative impact of cynicism on organizational silence

Background : Increasing workload can aggravate stress and cause burnout and exhaustion. The study aimed to assess knowledge, performance and stress level among nurses in hemodialysis unit. Methodology: A descriptive study was carried out to assess Knowledge, Performance and Stress. Level among Nurses in Hemodialysis Unit .The study was conducted in general hospital in Khartoum state. A Convenience sample was used to include 50 nurses. Data Collection methods: A self-administered study questionnaire was used to collect the data about social demographic, knowledge about hemodialysis process and level of stress. The second tool was observational check list to measure performance of nurses in hemodialysis unit. The result : A significant portion of nurses, 42%, demonstrated a satisfactory level of knowledge about the Hemodialysis process. Regarding performance 58% of the nurses achieved a satisfactory rating. In relation to stress level 60% of the studies nurses suffer from severe level of stress. There was significant correlation between stress score with total score of knowledge, performance and years of experience. Conclusion: The study revealed that more than half had unsatisfactory knowledge, but 58% demonstrated satisfactory performance. A concerning finding is that around two-thirds reported severe stress, indicating a significant workplace challenge. Recommendations: Develop and implement targeted stress management programs tailored to the specific needs of nurses.

Background Nursing is one of the hazardous occupations, in which the risks are four times higher than those in other professions. Several protective safety measures must be taken to reduce exposure to occupational hazard. The aim of this study: assessing the occupational hazards and safety measures among staff nurses. Subject and methods: The study was conducted at Egypt Air hospital for Research and Treatment. it is affiliated to Ministry of Civil Aviation, using descriptive cross-sectional research on 185 staff nurses. Data were collected by using two tools namely, self -administered knowledge questionnaire and observation checklist for staff nurses' practice regarding safety measures. Results: findings revealed that slightly more than two third of them had satisfactory total knowledge regarding occupational hazards and total knowledge categories, and slightly more than half 51% of studied staff nurses had adequate total practice. Conclusion: it is concluded that there was statistically significant weak positive correlation between knowledge and practice; while there was no statistically significant correlation between staff nurses’ ages and their knowledge and practice. Recommendations: Training of staff nurses regards to occupational hazards and safety measures either in the form of workshops or seminars is recommended, enhancing knowledge and skills of safety measures through the orientation for newly staff nurses, and Further research is needed to investigate the effect of training intervention on knowledge and practices of safety measures of staff nurses.

Background : Toxic leadership is ineffective behavior that reflects leadership's negative/dark side and can negatively affect not only the followers but also the whole organization. Aim: This study aimed at identifying staff nurses' perception regarding toxic leadership behavior of head nurses and it's relation to their work engagement. Design: A descriptive correlational design was used . Settings: This study was conducted at Medical Hospital affiliated to El-Fayuom University Hospitals in El-Fayuom governorate. Subjects: 132staff nurses out of 200 staff nurses. Data collection tools: Data were collected by using two tools namely: Toxic leadership scale and Utrecht work engagement scale. Results: Analysis revealed that more than two-thirds (68.9%) of the studied staff nurses had low perception level for self - promotion dimension, while less than two-thirds (63.6%) of the studied staff nurses had low perception level toward total toxic leadership. Also, more than half (53.8%) of studied staff nurses had high level of work engagement toward dimension of dedication, while half (50.0%) of them had moderate level regarding total work engagement. Conclusion: There was a statistically significant negative correlation between total staff nurses’ perception of toxic leadership and total work engagement among staff nurses. Recommendations: The study recommended that hospital administrators could conduct training programs for supervisors to improve their leadership skills and behaviors.
