Power Management Strategy for Active Power Sharing in Hydro/PV/Battery Hybrid Energy System 水电/光伏/电池混合能源系统有功功率共享的电源管理策略

Simulation and modeling of standalone DC linked hydro/PV/battery hybrid energy system (HES) and power management strategy (PMS) for identifying the active power sharing have been done. The performance analysis of the proposed HES and its power management strategy has been done using the simulink toolboxes of MATLAB software. The proposed system consists of 10 kW PV system, 7.5 kW hydro system, battery, and power condition unit. In some remote/rural areas, it is very difficult to satisfy the demand of electrical power throughout the year with the power grid. In such areas, the power requirement can be fulfilled by renewable energy system such as hydro or PV system. Either the hydro system or PV system is not capable of supplying power requirement throughout the year as both systems are intermittent. Hence, the judicious combination of hydro and PV system has been modeled for electrification. The power management strategy is modeled to manage the power flow of the energy systems and battery to fulfill the load demand. The presented results clearly show that the proposed HES and its control strategy are suitable for implementation in remote/rural areas.

A Novel Method for Ion Track Counting in Polycarbonate Detector 聚碳酸酯探测器中离子径迹计数的新方法

A computer program for recognizing and counting the track of ions that are detected with polycarbonate detector has been written using MATLAB software. There are different programs for counting the track of ions in different detectors. Algorithm of this program specially has been written for polycarbonate detector and also for low magnification of optical microscope. Thus, with this method as per image of optical microscope, greater numbers of ions are visible and general distribution of ions can be better known. However, the accuracy of counting program is very high.

Mechanical Behavior and Fracture Toughness Evaluation of Multiphase Polymer Nanocomposites Using Impact and -Integral via Locus Method 用冲击积分轨迹法评价多相聚合物纳米复合材料的力学行为和断裂韧性

Fracture behaviors of fibrillar silicate clay (MMT) filled thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) containing polypropylene (PP) blended with ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) were systematically investigated using impact test method and -integral by locus method. Drastic increase in impact strength is observed for all developed compositions and generally shows higher value for the selected phases containing dispersed nanoclay in PP matrix. A fracture mechanics approach has been adopted by mode I test, and the effects of specimen geometry have been investigated. Increase in interlaminar fracture energy value, , and -integral value, , is marked as the crack propagated through the composite; that is, a rising “-curve” is observed. Toughness measurements revealed that the fracture toughness increased with increasing clay content reaching maximum at 3 wt% of clay than pure PP. Moreover, enhancement of fracture toughness was more remarkable than that of stiffness. The fracture surfaces taken from different specimens were observed for exploring the fracture mechanisms using transmission electron microscopy (TEM) revealed a strong particle-matrix adhesion.

A Heuristic Multiobjective Method for Radial Distribution Networks Reconfiguration 一种启发式多目标径向配电网重构方法

This paper introduces a novel algorithm for radial distribution networks reconfiguration, called “Sifting algorithm.” It not only has a simple structure but also has high speed and accuracy. It works by eliminating infeasible states and reduces the search space and then it uses a simple method to find optimum answer in remaining space. To ensure the effectiveness of this algorithm, a 16-switch test network was tested and the results were compared with three other well-known algorithms. The results of simulations showed high speed and accuracy of this algorithm.

A long-wave evolution equation is derived using an asymptotic analysis, and the linear stability of a viscoelastic film flowing along the direction of parallel grooves over a uniformly heated topography is studied. A numerical approach adopting spectral collocation technique is used to demarcate the stable and unstable flow regimes. The combined influence of thermocapillarity and viscoelasticity on the films stability is analyzed. By accounting the bottom topography comprising longitudinal gutters, the possibilities of regulating the film dynamics under iso- and nonisothermal conditions and/or optimizing design structure of an apparatus for desirable flow outcomes have been focussed.

Flow of an Eyring-Powell Model Fluid between Coaxial Cylinders with Variable Viscosity 变黏度的Eyring-Powell模型流体在同轴圆柱间的流动

We consider the flow of Eyring-Powell model fluid in the annulus between two cylinders whose viscosity depends upon the temperature. We consider the steady flow in the annulus due to the motion of inner cylinder and constant pressure gradient. In the problem considered the flow is found to be remarkedly different from that for the incompressible Navier-Stokes fluid with constant viscosity. An analytical solution of the nonlinear problem is obtained using homotopy analysis method. The behavior of pertinent parameters is analyzed and depicted through graphs.

Effects of Slip Factors and Couple Stresses for Stagnation Point Flow over a Moving Plate 滑移因子和耦合应力对动板滞止点流动的影响

An investigation is presented for the two-dimensional and axisymmetric stagnation flows of a couple stress fluids intrude on a moving plate under partial slip conditions. The governing partial differential equations are converted into ordinary differential equations by a similarity transformation. The important physical parameters of skin friction coefficients of the fluid are also obtained. The homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to obtain the analytical solution of the problem. Also, the convergence of the solutions is established by plotting graphs of convergence control parameter. The impacts of couple stresses and slip conditions on the flow and temperature of the fluid have been observed. The numerical comparison for the considered fluid is compared with previous solutions as special case.

Free Vibrations of Beam System Structures with Elastic Boundary Conditions and an Internal Elastic Hinge 具有弹性边界条件和内弹性铰链的梁系结构的自由振动

The study of the dynamic properties of beam structures is extremely important for proper structural design. This present paper deals with the free in-plane vibrations of a system of two orthogonal beam members with an internal elastic hinge. The system is clamped at one end and is elastically connected at the other. Vibrations are analyzed for different boundary conditions at the elastically connected end, including classical conditions such as clamped, simply supported, and free. The beam system is assumed to behave according to the Bernoulli-Euler theory. The governing equations of motion of the structural system in free bending vibration are derived using Hamilton's principle. The exact expression for natural frequencies is obtained using the calculus of variations technique and the method of separation of variables. In the frequency analysis, special attention is paid to the influence of the flexibility and location of the elastic hinge. Results are very similar with those obtained using the finite element method, with values of particular cases of the model available in the literature, and with measurements in an experimental device.

A Generalized ANN Model for Analyzing and Synthesizing Rectangular, Circular, and Triangular Microstrip Antennas 矩形、圆形和三角形微带天线分析与合成的广义神经网络模型

Since last one decade, artificial neural network (ANN) models have been used as fast computational technique for different performance parameters of microstrip antennas. Recently, the concept of creating a generalized neural approach for different performance parameters has been motivated in microstrip antennas. This paper illustrates a generalized neural approach for analyzing and synthesizing the rectangular, circular, and triangular MSAs, simultaneously. Such approach is very much required for the antenna designers for getting instant answer for the required parameters. Here, total seven performance parameters of three different MSAs are computed using generalized neural approach as such a method is rarely available in the open literature even for computing more than three performance parameters, simultaneously. The results thus obtained are in very good agreement with the measured results available in the referenced literature for all seven cases.

Analysis of Radiative Radial Fin with Temperature-Dependent Thermal Conductivity Using Nonlinear Differential Transformation Methods 热导率随温度变化的辐射式径向翅片非线性微分变换分析

Radiative radial fin with temperature-dependent thermal conductivity is analyzed. The calculations are carried out by using differential transformation method (DTM), which is a seminumerical-analytical solution technique that can be applied to various types of differential equations, as well as the Boubaker polynomials expansion scheme (BPES). By using DTM, the nonlinear constrained governing equations are reduced to recurrence relations and related boundary conditions are transformed into a set of algebraic equations. The principle of differential transformation is briefly introduced and then applied to the aforementioned equations. Solutions are subsequently obtained by a process of inverse transformation. The current results are then compared with previously obtained results using variational iteration method (VIM), Adomian decomposition method (ADM), homotopy analysis method (HAM), and numerical solution (NS) in order to verify the accuracy of the proposed method. The findings reveal that both BPES and DTM can achieve suitable results in predicting the solution of such problems. After these verifications, we analyze fin efficiency and the effects of some physically applicable parameters in this problem such as radiation-conduction fin parameter, radiation sink temperature, heat generation, and thermal conductivity parameters.
