This study aims to describe the content of higher order thinking skills in the fifth-grade science material on the theme of animal and human movement organs in terms of HOTS aspects. This type of research is a descriptive type of content analysis. The main source of this research is thematic books for grade V. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. Analysis of the data of this research through three stages, namely data condensation, data display, and drawing conclusions or verification. The data collection technique in this study was reading and recording HOTS content in terms of its aspects. The results of this study found that the science material presents higher-order thinking skills at the C4-C6 level which refers to Bloom's revised taxonomy. Student thematic books also provide material to foster critical/creative thinking skills and reasoning abilities. HOTS aspects as critical and creative thinking dominate each sub-theme, while HOTS aspects as problem solving as well as the transfer of knowledge still need to be synchronized again.

Science process skills, critical thinking, and self-confidence are life skills that take an important role in everyone’s life, so they need to be developed at an early age. All of those competencies were not yet developed well in grade 1F students in the elementary school SD XYZ Tangerang. The aim of the research was to analyze the application of Discovery Learning model in order to improve grade 1F students’ ability in science process skills, critical thinking, and self-confidence. The research method was class action research. The research was applied to 29 students in the grade 1F elementary school SD XYZ Tangerang as the subject of the study. Students’ progress in their science process skill, critical thinking, and self-confidence was measured by a set of rubrics. The results showed a significant improvement in the students from the first, second, and third cycle. The average science process skill score in the first cycle was 54.60, in the second cycle was 79.60, and in the third cycle was 87.64. The average critical thinking score in the first cycle was 63.51, in the second cycle was 77.01, and in the third cycle was 85.63. The average self-confidence score in the first cycle was 59.77, in the second cycle was 76.72, and in the third cycle was 82.18. Based on the result, it was concluded that Discovery Learning model can improve the science process skill, dan self-confidence in the Science Lesson for grade I F students in the elementary school SD XYZ Tangerang.

The aim of this study was to investigate whether the role play teaching model had an effect on students’ story telling skill in primary schools in Salatiga. This study was experimental research. A T-test on the pre-test data showed that the mean of the experimental group was 18.94, whereas the mean of the control group was 18.500. This data showed that there was 0.44 difference between the two groups. Further, the data showed that tcount < ttable (1.319 < 2.353). Hence, there was no significant difference between the two groups. Whereas, an analysis on the post-test data showed that the mean of the experimental group was 21.98 and the mean of the control group was 21.01. Thus, the post test result of the experimental group was higher than the control group. There was 0.96 difference between the groups. The T-test showed that tcount > ttable (3.264 > 2.353). Hence, there was a significant difference between the two groups. The post-test data analysis using t-test showed that the tcount was 3.264 and as the tcount > ttable (3.264 > 2.353), the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Thus, there was a significant difference between the story telling skill in the experimental group and the control group.

This research aims to develop a picture storybook to increase childrens’ understanding about earthquake and tsunami disaster mitigation. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the level of validity of the product and the data analysis of the test results with paired sample t tests. The results showed that: (1) the earthquake and tsunami disaster mitigation picture storybook media has been developed using the ADDIE model, (2) the picture storybook media is declared "Very Valid" based on the average media expert assessment of 4.5, the average material expert assessment of 5, and the average linguist assessment of 4.36, (3) the development results show that children's responses to picture storybook media are very positive with an average small group response questionnaire of 4.71 (Very Valid) and an average large group response questionnaire of 4.38 (Very Valid); (4) the picture storybook media is declared effective in increasing children's understanding of earthquake and tsunami disaster mitigation with the results of the t test sig. (2-tailed) 0.004 < 0.05.

This study aims to evaluate the teaching competence of Bahasa Indonesia teachers using the APKG-2 evaluation tool. This research is classified as a case study with limited data sources, namely 4 (four) learning video shows on the Youtube channel. In line with that, this research is also called ex post facto research with a descriptive evaluation approach. As a descriptive evaluation study, at the data collection stage the researcher used the APKG-2 instrument. After the data was collected, the researcher processed and analyzed the data using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The average acquisition of the assessment in each aspect of the assessment is used by researchers to evaluate by interpreting and interpreting the data. The results of this study indicate two things. First, there are two videos, namely video 1 which is related to thematic learning focused on Bahasa Indonesia in lower grade of Elementary Schools and video 3, namely learning Bahasa Indonesia in Junior High Schools which can be categorized as Good. Meanwhile, video 2 relating to thematic learning with a focus on Bahasa Indonesia in high grade of Elementary Schools and video 4 relating to learning Bahasa Indonesia in Senior High School can be categorized as Enough. Second, based on the results of the notes in the evaluation column, the researcher noted several important things that Indonesian language teachers should pay attention to, namely apperception and delivery of learning objectives that must be effective in opening activities, feedback, interaction, use of learning methods and media that must be in harmony with the learning materials in the class, core activities, as well as the importance of reflection on closing activities.

Textbooks have a strong influence on curriculum development, learning approaches, activities and even assessments of learning mathematics. The aim of the research is to describe the use of mathematics textbooks based on the Singapore curriculum in mathematics learning. This research is a qualitative research with a case study method. The participant is an elementary school teacher at a school in Tangerang. Data collection was carried out by observation using an observation guide. Data analysis was carried out descriptively using coding. Coding uses Nicol and Crespo's framework regarding the model of using textbooks in mathematics learning, namely adhering, elaboration, and creating and is seen based on the role played by the teacher in the learning process. The results of the study show that the level of teacher use of books is in the adhering category for each teacher's role in using textbooks.

This study aims to develop a two-level Natural Science (IPA) test instrument based on the jumanji game in measuring understanding of the concept of work and simple planes. The research method in this case is a quantitative method with a modification of the development model. The measurement instrument developed in this study is a two-level science test or a reasoned multiple choice test specifically for the business chapter and simple planes. This research instrument that has been developed was tested on 256 students of SMP Abu Bakar. The results of this study indicate that a measurement instrument has been produced in the form of a two-level science test based on the jumanji game which can measure students' understanding of concepts about business and simple and reliable machines that are valid and reliable. These results are evidenced by the validity and reliability of the two-level science test, which are 0.83 and 0.53 respectively. Meanwhile, the achievement of students' understanding of concepts related to business and simple machines is 51% which is in the high category. The students' conceptual understanding measured using the two-level science test is high because it exceeds the minimum criteria that have been determined.

Consumptive behavior is often associated with a luxurious and excessive life and a pattern of life that is driven by a desire other than to seek pleasure and follow emerging trends. The factor influencing consumptive behavior is self-concept, where there are individual associations in a group that cause the desire to buy goods. This research method uses quantitative research methods using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The researcher conducted an instrumentation test, namely a self-concept questionnaire and a consumptive behavior questionnaire on Monday, October 3, 2021 at SWCU with 33 respondents who were randomly selected. Based on the research and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of self-concept on the consumptive behavior of SWCU BK students class of 2019. This is evidenced by the R square value of 0.097 or 9.7%, which means that self-concept has an influence of 0.097 or 9.7% with consumptive behavior.

The factor influencing consumptive behavior is self-concept, where there are individual associations in a group that cause the desire to buy goods. This research method uses quantitative research methods using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The researcher conducted an instrumentation test, namely a self-concept questionnaire and a consumptive behavior questionnaire on Monday, October 3, 2021 at SWCU with 33 respondents who were randomly selected. Based on the research and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of self-concept on the consumptive behavior of SWCU BK students class of 2019. In this study, a comparative study was conducted on the use of the Google Classroom and Zoom Meeting platforms during online lectures held at Nurtanio University. The object of research is students from various study programs at Nurtanio University, totaling 82 people. Data were obtained from questionnaires filled out by students on a google form with an ordinal scale. The questionnaire is divided into three components (lecture implementation, lecturer capabilities, and facilities and infrastructure) with a total of 15 statement items that compare perceptions of using Google Classroom and Zoom platforms. Overall, students gave a perception of the "good" category on the three assessment components with an average score for the Zoom and Google classroom platforms respectively 4.07 and 3.90 in the implementation of lectures, an average score of 4.06 and 3.96 for lecturer capabilities, and an average score an average of 3.84 and 3.76 for facilities and infrastructure. To find out whether there is a difference in student perceptions on the two platforms, a statistical test using SPSS is carried out, namely the Wilcoxon marked rank test. The results obtained are that there are differences in student perceptions on the use of the two lecture platforms, namely the perception of students using Google Classroom is better than using Zoom as evidenced by the Asymp score. Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.007 and Z value = 2.692.

This research aims to a) improve thematic learning outcomes and students' cooperative attitudes in third grades at SD Negeri Gondangan by implementing discovery learning. b) describe the steps of discovery learning that can improve thematic learning outcomes and students' cooperative attitudes. This type of research was classroom action research. The model of classroom action research used Kemmis & Mc Taggart design with using 2 cycles, then each cycle consisting of 3 stages namely, 1) action planning, 2) action implementation and observation, 3) reflection. The subjects of this study were 14 third grade students of SD Negeri Gondangan. The results of the study show that improving learning outcomes and students' cooperative attitudes in thematic learning can be pursued through proven discovery learning. This can be seen in the comparison of the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes cycle I and cycle II, namely 64.29%: 100%. Student learning outcomes based on the minimum score of cycle I and cycle II, namely 50: 80. Student learning outcomes based on the maximum score of cycle I and cycle II of 80:100. Student learning outcomes based on the average score of cycle I and cycle II are 68.57:87.14. In addition, the comparison of the percentage of completeness of the attitude scale assessment cycle I and cycle II is 57%: 100%. It can be concluded if the classroom action research was succesfull, this is indicated by the large percentage of students who achieve completeness with KKM = 70.
本研究旨在a)通过实施发现学习,改善SD内格里工当小学三年级学生的主题学习成果和合作态度。B)描述可以改善主题学习成果和学生合作态度的发现学习步骤。这种类型的研究是课堂行动研究。课堂行动研究模式采用Kemmis & Mc Taggart设计,采用2个周期,每个周期由3个阶段组成,即1)行动计划,2)行动实施与观察,3)反思。本研究以14名小学三年级学生为研究对象。研究结果表明,通过被证明的发现学习可以改善主题学习的学习成果和学生的合作态度。这可以从学生学习成果完成周期I和周期II的百分比对比中看出,即64.29%:100%。学生的学习成绩以第一、第二周期的最低分数为基准,即50:80。学生的学习成绩根据第一和第二周期的最高分数80:100。以第一和第二周期的平均分计算,学生的学习成果为68.57:87.14。此外,态度量表评估周期I和周期II的完成度百分比比较为57%:100%。可以得出结论,如果课堂行动研究是成功的,这是由KKM = 70的学生达到完整性的大百分比表示的。
