In this paper, the effect of beam divergence angle on the bit error rate (BER) performance of underwater wireless spatial/spectral optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) system using two dimensional perfect difference codes (2D-PDCs) is analyzed. In order to calculate BER of the proposed system, thermal noise, shot noise and phase-induce-intensity noise (PIIN) are considered. It is noted that Multiuser interference (MUI) and PIIN can be effectively suppressed by the proposed system. Beam divergence angle of optical source is an important parameter and the effect of different beam divergence angle for various water channels (i.e., pure sea water, clear ocean water and coastal ocean water) is investigated. A 532nm central wavelength LED is chosen as optical source and p-i-n photodiode is utilized as optical detector in the proposed underwater wireless optical system. The effect of beam divergence angle on the proposed system is investigated for different system parameters such as link distance, transmitter power, inclination angle and number of simultaneous users. From numerical results it is observed that best BER performance is achieved for narrower beam divergence angle in pure sea water channel among all water channels.

In this paper, we have performed machine translation using modified Transformer model on TED Talk Dataset and from this we have selected four language pairs (English-Portuguese, Russian-English, French-Portuguese, Turkish-English) for testing. We have evaluated and analyzed the machine translation model on critical criteria's such as dataset size, batch size and training time over all four language pairs and have used BLEU scoring to generalize the results. We have searched for general trends and have analyzed the impacts of these variations on the scoring of the translation upon variation of different parameters, this analysis has been performed on each language pairs as well as have been compared with the results of other language pairs. From the results we found that with increase in dataset size, batch size and training time the BLEU score increases. The English - Portuguese pair achieves highest BLEU score of 23.2 from all language pairs and we get lowest BLEU score of 19.1 from the French - Portuguese pair.

This research aims to explore and investigates which project management methodology is recommended for artificial intelligence (AI) transformation projects. Aligning projects with strategic business goals is necessary to achieve the desired outcomes for any digital transformation program. Project management methodology helps standardize studies of an ongoing project that might have a continuous effect on the organization. It also helps secure the standard practices, language, and processes that ensure the smooth flow of a project and are vital for project management. The current research will evaluate the most widely used project management methodologies and to which extent they support the sudden transformation witnessed due to Covid-19, including AI technologies.

Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) proposed by Seyedali Mirjalili and Andrew Lewis in 2016 is popular and powerful metaheuristic algorithm to search the global solution of optimization problems. WOA is nature-inspired, metaheuristic (randomization and deterministic) algorithm, which has been widely used to solve various single objective, multi objective and multidimensional optimization problems. WOA and its variant have been introduced in engineering applications, bioinformatics, multi-level image segmentation, clustering applications, design of low pass filter, Email classification, Diabetes classification, heterogeneous networks, machine learning etc. WOA is gradient free, easy to represent, capable to explore, exploit the search space and able to avoid local optima. This paper presents overview of WOA, its variants and applications. The performance of WOA is enhanced by introducing hybridization of other methods with WOA such as WOA-PSO, WOA-Levy, WOA-BAT, WOA-ANN, WOA-SVM etc. Objective of metaheuristic algorithm is tofind best position or leader position X* which is near to optimal solution for target prey over successive iteration. Objective function could be based on minimization or maximization approach.

one of the active research areas in the field of Computer Vision in today's era is recognizing human activity under video surveillance. To resolve suspicious activity, sensitive and public places such as school, college, jewellery store, railway stations, a temple, bank, etc. can be monitored using video surveillance. It is mind-numbing and time-consuming to track such public areas for a long time. One such area is the Automated Teller Machine (ATM), monitored by a surveillance system. An intelligent monitoring system is proposed to classify real-time based human behaviour and categories them into regular and unusual activities to ensure the safety aspect of ATM and can cause different levels of alarm. This paper proposes a real-time system using the Kalman Filter and the Kanade-Lucas-Tomasi (KLT) Tracking Algorithm to detect and monitor suspicious or non-suspicious human behaviour for ATM video surveillance. On a real-time ATM Surveillance database, experimental results are carried out.

Roads are the most prominent part and are contributing majorly in the infrastructure development of India. It has been practiced worldwide to provide rating to the road network so that road development and operations can be performed effectively and performances related to various parameters can be easily measured. Some pre-requisites as well as criteria must be essentially fulfilled for processing the rating for a road. Different road rating systems has their own rating procedures involving necessary criteria and their respective score. The main aim of introducing a rating scheme for roads in India is to provide the cause of applying certain effective parameters which can enhance the sustainability of Indian Road Network. In this paper, we are going to discuss worldwide rating schemes available for roads and how a rating scheme can benefit a road and its associated stakeholders. Also, a brief discussion introducing practices and decisions taken to implement sustainability in Indian roads is made available to know the strategy and need to apply a rating system for Indian Roads.

The NGO sector struggles to get volunteers and yet individuals interested in volunteering some of their time to socially meaningful causes are not able to find suitable opportunities. This paper aims to set up platforms to allow NGOs to communicate these volunteering opportunities and for volunteers to enroll for those that match their preferences. The platform is developed both as an Android application and a Web-based interface. The paper also explores how gamification can be used to make the process fun and competitive to increase engagement with the volunteers.

The concept of Variable speed wind turbine is based on the Speed of the Wind that is instantaneous wind and its characteristics with the wind turbine. The main research area in the wind energy integration technique is to maintain a constant frequency at the output of the converter as it is to be interconnected to the power system where the frequency is constant. In an integrated power system why are several synchronous generators connected to support the grid at a constant frequency, because under this condition integrating a Variable-speed device to the traditional system main creates a lot of disturbance starting from overvoltage and Variable frequency and change in frequency may create a disturbance in the power allocation procedure and thereby increasing the load add some generating units. Also, frequency change in voltage may create the reactive power allocation and thereby affecting the power flow in the integrated system. The effort grid interconnection of wind system insecure the proper transformation of Variable frequency and voltage to a constant frequency and voltage as per the requirement of the grid. Coordinated reactive power control combining wind turbine double bed induction generator and STATCOM has been analyzed together during the fault condition. The model presented in this report concept of a multi-objective optimization problem. The objectives were being identified as the voltage at the terminal of wind turbine and low frequencies oscillation of active power for clearing of the fault. To achieve this Reactive power references for both wind turbines and STATCOM is necessary, therefore stochastic algorithm based on normalized simulated annealing has been applied

This paper is presented single and $2times 1$ Circular patch antenna array for improve antenna parameters in 2.4 GHz ISM frequency band application. It comprises a single and 2 patch elements present on Roger RT Duroid 5880 substrate (2.2 dielectric constant) and used rectangular slot with addition of 45 degree rotation in circular patch. The antenna arrays have been presented and simulated by HFSS 13.0 software (high frequency structure simulator). The proposed antenna array shows −27.5231 dB return loss and 8.8965dB gain at 2.4 GHz which implies good results. The presented antenna shows VSWR of 0.7310 dB at 2.4GHz which represent good impedance matching at the desired frequency. Presented array parameters are much better than four element circular patch antenna array parameters, so due to useful parameters and using minimum antenna element, presented antenna more applicable for ISM band application.
