The basis of a quality organization consists of reliable employees who are satisfied with their work, ready to learn and progress, and thus continuously bring profit and progress to themselves and the organization. The foundation of a quality organization consists of a quality corporate mission, a reasonable vision of the organization, clearly set goals and a high level of creativity and innovation of employees, aimed at fulfilling the mission, vision and goals. Employees who are dissatisfied will not do the job properly, which is why the organization suffers direct material damage. Dissatisfied employees will want to leave the job, which speaks in favor of the fact that the resources previously invested in that employee were not used in accordance with the mission of the organization. In order for the organization to operate successfully and make profit, it is necessary to constantly control and maintain the career progress and satisfaction of employees, because its success is based on satisfied and advanced human resources. Career implies advancement, progress, occupation with the profession and stability, which is often considered as its basic precondition. That the concept of career development is extremely complex is shown by the fact that it has produced a large number of organizational phenomena that are intensively studied. Knowing, understanding and following the different stages of the career development process, as well as the numerous and diverse goals of the career development process can significantly contribute to the successful operation of organizations.

Adult learning and education are an important component of the lifelong learning process, integrating different forms and programs of non-formal and informal learning. This area of learning encompasses a variety of content, from literacy and general skills, through vocational education and training content, to family, civic, environmental, media, leisure education, and many other areas whose priorities depend on the specific needs of each country . The formal system does not meet the needs of the individual or community to learn. Due to the inability of formal education to monitor changes in education resulting from the rapid development of science and technology, as well as economic and social changes, informal education has emerged. This education is an essential and necessary complement to formal education. Non-formal education is defined as any organized educational activity outside the existing formal system, which serves specific users and learning objectives. Non-formal education is provided through activities such as courses, seminars, lectures, conferences, workshops, various types of training, as well as volunteering. The field of non-formal education is very important in Serbia, it enables persons who have not completed formal education or have finished school with which they cannot find a job in the profession, to actually retrain in the process of non-formal education to perform some of the more demanding jobs, or to apply for a job in Serbia, or looking for a job abroad.

Digitization is moving most business processes into the virtual arena. The fact is that digitized companies and new concepts of organizational functioning are creating our new reality. Defining the meaning of the term digitalization creates a lot of controversy, which reflects the fact that it is a relatively new concept where there is no consensus and common understanding. Some of these controversies focus on whether the term should describe the use of digital technology to change certain business operations or create brand new business models. Notwithstanding these differences in approach, the aim of this paper is to show that digital transformation is an inevitability in contemporary business driven by the evolution of the new digital technology. Accordingly, the paper points to the specifics of the functioning of organization in terms of organizational structure, communication methods, employee agility and virtual team formation. It concludes that businesses that do not adapt quickly enough to new technologies that affect business and society can very quickly fall out of business because of product obsolescence. The technological process of Galvano-chemical protection, according to qualitatively-quantitative characteristics, represents one of the most complex contaminants in wastewater. A large number of contaminants (metal ions, cyanides, acids, bases, grease and oils, organic solvents, surfactants, phosphates, etc.), found in galvanic wastewater are treated through conventional methods (chemical oxidation and reduction, neutralization, sedimentation, coagulation and flocculation). The reason why galvanic wastewater treatment systems in the Republic of Serbia are conventional is of economic nature. The present study has been undertaken to evaluate the performance of Sewage Treatment Plant located at Aleksinac, Company of "Frad" district which is based on Sequential Batch Reactor process. Performance of this plant is an essential parameter to be monitored as the treated effluent is discharged into the Moravica River. The Performance Evaluation will also help for the better understanding of design and operating difficulties (aeration, blowers, etc.) in Sewage Treatment Plant. Research goal: The efficiency of sewage treatment plants can be illustrated by a study on the evaluation of pollutant levels of the influent and the effluent at the treatment plant of sewage treatment plants discharging into the environment.

The practice in developed countries has shown a necessity for local government's stronger inclusion in local economic development issues. The economic system in Serbia has features of high unemployment rate and low living standard among the population, and therefore local government taking a larger part in local economic development issues is seen as a real possibility for reducing these problems. Although most of the economic policy instruments lie within the central government jurisdiction, which largely restricts local government possibilities, there is still an important area for local government influence on economic development. There are numerous obstacles for a successful application of the local economic development concept in Serbia, which causes the municipality and regional potentials to be used much less than the possibilities allow, and it has a negative reflection, especially in rural and undeveloped areas.

Fiscal policy measures are necessary weapons to overcome the economic crisis caused by the Coronavirus. State intervention and implementation of adequate measures can significantly protect the domestic economy and thus speed up the recovery. The focus of the paper are the fiscal policy measures implemented by the Republic of Serbia during and after the introduction of the state of emergency, as well as plans for the measures in the future. As a country in transition with lower economic growth than other EU member states, Serbia has followed the trends of implementing fiscal policy measures following the example of the most powerful economies in the world. Relevant international and domestic sources were used for the analysis. The results of the research show that Serbia has implemented adequate measures to overcome the crisis, but in comparison with the countries of the European Union, providing financial resources is one of the biggest problems in the given period. Ključne reči: mere fiskalne politike, ekonomska kriza, corona virus, domaća privreda, ekonomski rast

The contemporary business environment has imposed the need to continuously find and define new concepts and tools that support the strategic management of a company. Among them, Economic Value Added - EVA is considered as the essential principle for the evaluation of company performance in terms of shareholder return. EVA is taxable profit less the total cost of capital (borrowed and owned). The contribution of the EVA concept is reflected by looking at economic rather than accounting profits. This concept was adopted by many companies in Serbia, among which is also "SBB" limited liability company - Belgrade.
