Skin disease is one of the large numbers of spread diseases in the world. Its diagnoses are very difficult because of its difficulties in the skin texture, presence of hair on skin and colour. Thus, it is required to develop an efficient method for the diagnosis of skin disease based on deep learning in order to increase the accuracy of diagnosis for different skin types. Now a days, deep learning techniques are more popular in medical diagnosis system. This work focuses on skin disease prediction using deep learning technique. For the implementation, the dataset used for the skin disease prediction is the ISIC dataset with 9 category of skin diseases. For the classification, the deep learning algorithm used is Visual Geometry Group 19 (VGG 19). VGG 19 is a pretrained neural network, which can be used for the detection of skin disease detection using the concept of transfer learning. For that the neural network extracts image features from the skin images. The extracted features are used for the detection of skin disease within the 7 classes of skin diseases.

Emotions play a vital role in people’s everyday life. It is a mental state that does not arise through free will and is often accompanied by physiological changes. Therefore monitoring these changes is important as they are perceptions of emotional changes and can help in identifying matters of concern at an early stage before they become serious. Emotion recognition has become an important subject when it comes to human-machine interaction. Various methods have been used in the past to detect and evaluate human emotions. The most commonly used techniques include the use of textual information, facial expressions, speech, body gestures and physiological signals. In this project we have developed an emotion recognition system based on information provided by the physiological signals. These signals are obtained from a skin temperature sensor, a heart rate sensor, and a blood pressure sensor. The amplified and filtered signals from the sensors are input into the microcontroller where all the processing takes place. The microcontroller wirelessly transmits data to a computer where it is stored for data analyses and feature extraction for emotion recognition. The three basic emotions observed in this project are happy (excited), stressed and neutral (relaxed).

Timing error is now getting increased attention due to the high rate of error-occurrence on semiconductors. Even slight external disturbance can threaten the timing margin between successive clocks since the latest semiconductor operates with high frequency and small supply voltage. To deal with a timing error, many techniques have been introduced. Nevertheless, existing methods that mitigate a timing error mostly have time-delaying mechanisms and too complex operation, resulting in a timing problem on clock-based systems and hardware overhead. In this article, we propose a novel timing-error-tolerant method that can correct a timing error instantly through a simple mechanism. By modifying a clock in a flip-flop, the proposed system can recover a timing error without the loss of time in the clock-based system. Furthermore, due to the compact mechanism, the proposed system has low hardware overhead in comparison with existing timing-error-tolerant systems that can recover the error instantly. To verify our method, the proposed circuit was extensively simulated by addressing PVT variations. Moreover, it was implemented in several benchmark designs, including a microprocessor. The first section of this abstract provides an overview of the challenges posed by the increasing demand for low-power circuitry in modern electronic systems. As the technology node continues to shrink, power consumption becomes a paramount concern, requiring novel solutions that optimize both dynamic and static power dissipation. The subsequent section delves into the Adaptive Hybrid Latch (AHL) concept, elucidating its functionality and design principles. The AHL operates as a robust error-tolerant latch, capable of adapting to variations in process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) conditions. By dynamically adjusting the setup time, the AHL can circumvent timing errors and uphold circuit reliability, especially in scenarios where traditional latches and flip-flops may fail. Next, the abstract explores the Razor Flip-Flop technique and its integration with the AHL. The Razor Flip-Flop is an energy-efficient architecture that minimizes power consumption by exploiting the dependency between voltage swing and energy dissipation. By reducing the voltage swing and using a voltage reference to determine the state, the Razor Flip-Flop achieves notable energy savings. The subsequent sections present the implementation details and simulation results of the proposed timing error-tolerant circuit technique using AHL and Razor Flip-Flop. Through extensive simulations and comparisons with conventional circuits, the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed technique are showcased. Furthermore, the abstract addresses the impact of process variations and environmental factors on the performance of the integrated timing error-tolerant circuit. The proposed technique demonstrates robustness and resilience against these variations, making it well-suited for cutting-edge semiconductor techno

In reviewing technology advances through the centuries, it is evident that material development plays a key role. Considerable efforts are still being made in every part of the world to develop new construction materials. In the construction industry, concrete technology is heading towards entirely new era by way of using polymers and fibres along with Super plasticizer in concrete. Increasing interest is being shown in the area of new materials in the past decade. This is quite understandable because, it is slowly, but increasingly being recognized that economic progress in construction depends more on an intelligent use of the materials and constant improvement of available materials than on extreme refinements of structural analysis. Concrete is probably the most widely used material in the world in view of its strength, structural stability, durability, economic considerations and low level maintenance and Portland cement, probably the most important constituent of concrete, is a versatile and relatively low cost material. With the extensive use of cement for widely varying conditions, technologists catered to the needs of the construction industries for specific purposes. Some of the admixtures presently being used include pozzolanas, retarders, accelerators etc. Concrete is usually characterized by its compressive strength. It has been observed that microstructure is very important for the macro performance. The versatility of concrete as a building material pushed the research into improving rather old material, the demand for taller reinforced concrete structures which increase the quest for higher concrete strength.

The topic “A STUDY ON WORKLIFE -BALANCE AMONG THE EMPLOYEES AT MAMAL MULTI SPECIALITY HOSPITAL, KATTAKADA, TRIVANDRUM” In the last few decades, there has been a dramatic increase in the amount of research devoted to understanding the linkages between work and family and/or personal life. The term “Work-life Balance was first coined in 1986 in reaction to the unhealthy choices that many Americans were making in favour of the work place, as they opted to neglect family, friends and leisure activities in the pursuit of corporate/ work goals. A balanced life is one where we spread our energy and effort emotional, intellectual. Imaginative, spiritual and physical-between key areas of importance. The neglect of one or more areas or anchor points, may threaten the vitality of the whole. Understandably, any imbalance between organizational and personal commitments and the inefficient management of life priorities can lead to serious consequences in each or all of these domains. The consequences may in general manifest as diminished job satisfaction, poorer productivity and performance, lower organizational commitment, inferior career ambitions & success, increased absenteeism & intention to leave, as well as employee burnout, job stress, poorer physiological and psychological health, and diminished performance in personal life & family. Thus, WLB and employee perception of well-being have come to be recognized to be vital for the organizational growth and effectiveness. Human resource management practices in modern organizations emphasize effective strategies that ensure employee well-being reflected in terms of organizational commitment through initiatives referred to as employee engagement. The importance of work life balance of the employees and the parameters that influence WLB in modern work and life settings cannot be over emphasized in this era of acutely competitive business environment and dwindling skilled manpower combined with ever increasing costs of employment.
