Pure and thiourea doped single crystals of L-proline cadmium chloride monohydrate were grown by slow evaporation method at room temperature. The SXRD analysis gives the details about the lattice parameters and crystal system. EDAX spectrum corroborated the incorporation of C, H, S, Cd, Cl in doped single crystal. FTIR analysis confirms the presence of various functional groups in the title material. The UV transmittance spectrum confirms the increase in transparency of the doped crystal. The green light emission of the title material was attributed by fluorescence analysis. The mechanical analysis suggests that thiourea doped L-Proline cadmium chloride monohydrate comes under soft material category and the second harmonic efficiency of doped crystal was 0.8 times than KDP.

Worldwide a great deal of research is currently being conducted concerning the use of fiber reinforced plastic wraps, laminates and sheets in the repair and strengthening of reinforced concrete members. Fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) application is a very effective way to repair and strengthen structures that have become structurally weak over their life span. FRP repair systems provide on economically viable to alternative to traditional repair systems and materials. Experimental investigations of flexural behaviour of RC beams strengthened by using glass fiber reinforced polymer sheets are carried out. Externally reinforced concrete beams with Epoxy bonded GFRP sheets were tested to failure using a symmetrical two point concentrated static loading system. Two sets of beams were casted for this experimental test program. The beam casted as weak in flexure and strengthened using glass fibre reinforced polymer sheets out of two beam another is controlled beam. The strengthening of the beam is done with different amount and configuration of GFRP sheets. Experimental Data on load, deflection and failure modes of each of the beams were obtained. The detail procedure and application of GFRP sheets for strengthening of RC beam is also included. The effect of number of GFRP layers and its orientation on ultimate load carrying capacity and failure mode of the beams are investigated.

This project proposes machine learning methods for detecting diabetic retinopathy by using CNN. The classification of retinal lesions from non-lesions using CNN classifiers is examined. Retinal retina images can be evaluated using machine learning-based medical image analysis. The image is pre-processed using the Contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) filter. CLAHE is used to improve the visibility level of blurry images. The image is segmented using the FCM method to generate an appropriate threshold value for data segmentation. The method of feature extraction is implemented by RLC. The Gray Level Co – occurrence Matrix (GLCM) method is used for extracting statistical skin parameters in a given direction and distance. The use of convolutional neural network (CNN) algorithms has facilitated the early identification of diabetic retinopathy. This project provides excellent specificity and sensitivity for classifying images as with or without diabetic retinopathy. This project is implemented using MATLAB software.

With the rise of e-commerce and the increasing prevalence of counterfeit products, there is a pressing need for robust anti-counterfeit measures. This research aims to explore the optimized combination of an e-commerce platform sales model and a blockchain-based anti-counterfeit traceability service strategy. By integrating the strengths of e-commerce platforms and blockchain technology, this study proposes a comprehensive approach to enhance consumer trust, reduce counterfeit products, and improve supply chain transparency. The research investigates various e-commerce sales models, such as business-to consumer (B2C) and consumer-to-consumer (C2C), to identify their effectiveness in combating counterfeiting. Additionally, the study explores the implementation of blockchain technology to establish a decentralized and immutable traceability system that ensures the authenticity and integrity of products. The proposed strategy leverages smart contracts, cryptographic hashing, and consensus mechanisms to enable real-time product verification and anti-counterfeit tracking throughout the supply chain. Through this optimized combination, it is anticipated that consumer confidence will be bolstered, counterfeit products will be mitigated, and stakeholders across the e-commerce ecosystem will benefit from improved transparency and accountability. The findings of this study contribute to the development of effective anti-counterfeit strategies and provide insights for e-commerce platforms and stakeholders seeking to enhance trust and combat counterfeit activities.

This paper summarize a framework for the study of the implications of automation and AI on the demand for labor, wages, and employment. Our task-based framework emphasizes the displacement effect that automation creates as machines and AI replace labor in tasks that it used to perform. This displacement effect tends to reduce the demand for labor and wages. But it is counteracted by a productivity effect, resulting from the cost savings generated by automation, which increase the demand for labor in non-automated tasks. The productivity effect is complemented by additional capital accumulation and the deepening of automation (improvements of existing machinery), both of which further increase the demand for labor. These countervailing effects are incomplete. Even when they are strong, automation in- creases output per worker more than wages and reduce the share of labor in national income. The more powerful countervailing force against automation is the creation of new labour-intensive tasks, which reinstates labor in new activities and tends to increase the labor share to counterbalance the impact of automation. Our framework also highlights the constraints and imperfections that slow down the adjustment of the economy and the labor market to automation and weaken the resulting productivity gains from this transformation: a mismatch between the skill requirements of new technologies, and the possibility that automation is being introduced at an excessive rate, possibly at the expense of other productivity-enhancing technologies. In this paper investigating various methods used in the existing work for the Artificial Intelligence.

Solar energy is one of the most important renewable energy which is freely available energy from the sun. As this energy is freely available there is growth for solar industries on global level. But the main challenge faced by the solar industries is the efficiency of the solar application. Solar Dehydration system or dryer is one the new emerging application in solar field. This system is used to remove moisture content from various agricultural products over conventional sun drying method. Use of axillary heating source is must to use solar dryer after the sunset. Therefore we can use phase change materials (PCM) to store the heat energy which can be used after sunset. For any solar application the overall performance or efficiency is approximately equal to 15-18%. Therefore to increase the efficiency by maximum utilization of the solar energy we can adopt the latest technologies like internet of things (IoT) software solution. To enhance the efficiency we can use the new technologies like internet of things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), etc. Smart sensors are used to monitor the different parameters like temperature, humidity, etc. which will help to get the data when the system is mounted at remote location and the data can be viewed at any location by the user.

The term ‘Sustainable’ environmentally means “green”. The deteriorating environment is driving the worldwide focus on sustainable development. It is to be noted that the largest impact on nature and environment is by the construction industry. Previously, the concern on environment formed a small part of construction development. We know that cement is the main constituent of concrete. Production of large quantity of cement results in increasing CO2 emissions and the consequence being Greenhouse Effect .The purpose of this paper is to investigate the feasibility of using basalt aggregates in concrete mixes. Concrete is the most important engineering material and the addition or replacement of some of the materials may change the properties of the concrete. In recent years a lot of research been carried out in order to obtain more durable and long term performance of concrete structures in the dynamic environment. An experimental program is set up to test the effect of basalt aggregate content and its combinations with calcined clay with variation of percentages in concrete mixes. Different aggregate percentage combinations were used in this study for basalt and calcined clay respectively. The laboratory investigation included measurement of compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural strength. In addition the source aggregate properties were considered in this study: specific gravity and absorption for coarse aggregates and fine aggregate. The result of this investigation indicates a general improvement in mix properties with the introduction of basalt aggregates in the mix.
