Planning, transporting, and controlling the process of acquiring and managing resources is known as logistics in construction management. It is impossible to ignore the importance of logistics in construction management. With the right logistics, a challenging construction project can become a well-organized activity with reduced costs and improved procedures. Construction logistics main goal is to facilitate the hiring of laborers, the transportation of materials, and other resources needed during the construction process. This project focuses on researching factors influencing logistical management in the construction sector and putting appropriate solutions in place. For this purpose, initially nineteen Literatures are studied based on construction logistics management. From the literatures it was studied that statistical analysis is better way to analyze Logistics management in construction industry and important factors that are affecting in construction logistics is identified from the literatures. Questionnaire regarding the factors affecting construction logistics is also prepared. Then, data was gathered from various construction companies. The data are then ranked using the relative importance index method. The Microsoft Excel software is used to analyse this data and identify the key variables that have an impact on logistics management in the construction sector. The Microsoft Excel software is used to analyse this data, and Anova one-way test is used to identify the important factors that influence logistics management in the construction industry.

The use of welded mesh as transverse reinforcement in reinforced concrete beams has gained increasing interest due to its potential advantages over traditional stirrups. This study investigates the strength behaviour of RC beams with welded mesh as transverse reinforcement through experimental approaches. Usage of welded wire mesh results in stress-free and quicker assembly, and better budget and superiority control. One Control beam with conventional reinforcement with five other beams with vary welded mesh were cast and tested under two point loading. The results were used to study the flexural behaviour. It is obtained that the beam with continuous weld mesh and longitudinal bar given the maximum load carrying capacity. The test results are analysed to determine the load-carrying capacity, deflection characteristics, and failure modes of the specimens. The study aims to provide valuable insights into the applicability and effectiveness of welded mesh as transverse reinforcement in RC beams, offering potential benefits such as cost-efficiency, ease of construction, and improved structural performance. The findings will contribute to enhancing the understanding of welded mesh behaviour in RC structures and aid in the development of optimized and sustainable construction practices for reinforced concrete beams.

The aim of the project is to design a multi storied building of G+5 floors, at Avanavan cherry about 2 km from Attingal. He design is done by taking in to account the requirements and standards recommended by IS code, Kerala building rules and national building rules. Planning is done using the 3D modeling software Revit 2018with the help of Auto CAD 2017. The structure analysis and design is done using STAAD.PRO.V8i and a cross check is done for selected members using limit state method of design as per IS 456-2000. STAAD. Pro uses a command language based input format, which can be created through an editor called the editor file, the powerful STAAD. Pro graphics input generator or through CAD based input generators like AutoCAD. Output generated by staad.pro consists of detailed numerical results for analysis and design.

With the power of embedded systems and advanced Artificial Intelligence techniques applied to the field of computer vision we aim to make a Hat/cap that can help the blind perceive the world around them. VISION COMPANION AI MATE the power of AI to describe people, text and objects. It can tell visually impaired persons, what is around them. The project titled “VISION COMPANION AI MATE “is an android application. This application provides a facility for OCR (Optical Character Recognition- It is also recognized as a text, then it will be converted to a voice message), Object Detection (To detect objects using Tensor Flow Lite for Android), Currency Detection (To detect the currency then it converted to voice) and Color detection (To pick the dominant colour of uploaded image or captured image) .Which are easily accessible to everyone and it is the power of AI to describe people, text and objects

This project proposes to develop the interaction diagram for nonconventional column piers. Design charts will be developed for bridge piers subjected to axial compression and any axial bending for Indian Road Congress IRC: 112-2011 using MATLAB software for all grades of concrete and steel. The behavior of column subjected to axial compression with any axial bending is understood from collected literatures. The rectangular stress block will be considered for concrete to the design calculations as per IRC: 112-2011 cl 8.2 (A-2). Charts are will be created for four side arrangement. The MATLAB coding will be done for various neutral axis and percentage of reinforcements. Sections considered are hollow rectangular, hollow circular, which can be used in the bridge piers as an alternative to the conventional sections like square, rectangular, circular, etc. After preparing the design charts, the solid and hollow sections are compared.

Parallel prefix Subtractor is the most flexible and widely used for binary addition/subtraction. Parallel Prefix Subtractor is best suited for VLSI implementation. No any special parallel prefix Subtractor structures have been proposed over the past years intended to optimize area. This paper presents a new approach to new design the basic operators used in parallel prefix architectures which subtract the unit by using modified technique of 2’s complement. Verification will also be done using LFSR technique so we don’t need to apply any manually input to perform the subtraction process. We can analysis and create the difference in terms of area between parallel prefix Subtractor and BIST architecture of parallel prefix Subtractor. The number of multiplexers contained in each Slice of an FPGA is considered here for the redesign of the basic operators used in parallel prefix tree. The experimental results indicate that the new approach of basic operators make some of the parallel Prefix Subtractor architectures faster and area efficient.

Construction industry is one of the most hazardous industries. Accidents may occur during construction which results in serious injuries and death to employees and also may cause severe damage to equipment. Hence it is important to prevent or minimize accidents in the construction site. Safety during construction is very important for each employee. This project deals with job site safety analysis in construction site by identifying the causes for accidents and implementing solutions for preventing the accident in the construction industry. From the literatures it was studied that statistical analysis is better way to analyse the construction jobsite safety and important factors that are affecting the safety in construction is identified from the literatures. Questionnaire regarding the factors affecting safety in construction site is also prepared. Then primary data should be collected from the various construction companies and secondary data should be collected from their clients. Then the data’s are ranked by two different techniques, primary data was ranked by using Relative important index method and secondary data was ranked by the Garrett’s ranking technique. Then the companies which are following safe safety procedures should be found out using Statistical analysis. This data is analysed in Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software and the major factors which affect safety in construction should found out through comparison of primary and secondary data by paired sample t-test. With this approach, it is possible to evaluate the uncertainty regarding safety in construction.

Cost overrun is one of the most important problem that encounter Real Estate projects success, since it reduces the contractor’s profit and sometimes lead to enormous losses. Cost overruns occur in every real estate project while the magnitude varies significantly from project to project. Throughout this research we tried to gather and analyze the main factors which cause cost overruns in real estate projects such as the factors determining percentage overrun include the financial condition of the owner ,the cash flow of the contractor, material cost increase, competition at tender stage, the project size, delays in design approval, quantity variations, the detailed degree of the drawings used for estimating the budget, , material estimate accuracy, quality requirements being hard to reach, location of the project with respect to vendors, time needed for decisions to be made, the client’s characteristics, unknown geological conditions, ignorance and lack of knowledge of the parties, incompatible advanced payment, the prequalification of the contractor, workload in the project, the contract type , whether the parties agreed on dispute settlement procedure or not, whether the site was properly managed or not , the adequacy of the equipment used in the project, the adequacy of the safety procedures followed, the effectiveness of the planning and scheduling , the availability of equipment, shortage of labors, whether the labors used were skilled or not, the adequacy of the method of construction, the decreased productivity of labors and equipment, the availability of cost control engineers assigned for the project. The objectives were achieved through valid questionnaire survey conducted in contracted companies, consultants, owners.

Recently, in all image processing systems, image restoration plays a major role and it forms the major part of image processing systems. Medical images such as brain Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), ultrasound images of liver and kidney, retinal images and images of uterus images are often affected by various types of noises such as Gaussian noise and salt and pepper noise. All image restoration techniques attempts to remove various types of noises. This paper deals with various filters namely Mean Filter, Averaging Filter, Median Filter, Adaptive Median Filter, Adaptive Weighted Median Filter, Gabor Filter and Noise Adaptive Fuzzy Switching Median Filter (NAFSM) for removing salt and pepper noise. Among all the filters, NAFSM removes the Gaussian noise better than the other filters and the performance of all the filters are compared using metrics such as PSNR (Peak Signal to Noise Ratio), MSE (Mean Square Error), NAE (Normalized Absolute Error), Normalized Cross Correlation (NK), Average Difference (AD), Maximum Difference (MD), SC (Structural Content) and time elapsed to produce the denoised image.

Recently most of the research problems focused on Single volute centrifugal pump and optimize the certain level of parameters such as number of impeller blades, angle and profile of the blade etc. that leads to improve the performance of the centrifugal pump [1]. Some of the authors conduct the research to reduce the radial force and noise level by implementing double volute centrifugal pump with fixed split structure for improving the performance of the Centrifugal Pump [2], but efficiency and head is dropped in the system at certain level of variation in radial force and noise. From this study, objective of this research paper is to reduce the radial force and noise level without sacrificing the efficiency and head of the Centrifugal pump. Existing single volute pump operate under constant speed (2800 rpm) has been taken for analysis and it consists of 6 vanes with forward curves impeller. This research mainly reduces the radial force by optimizing different position of split volute using CFD approach in order to improve the noise reduction in the double volute region. Numerical simulation of the existing pump also calculated by using CFD Technique and Investigation on Experimental analysis of existing centrifugal pump also done in research Laboratory. In this research, Optimization of split volute found the best way to reduce the radial force in the double volute pump. Different model can be simulated by using ANSYS-CFX to find the optimum position of split volute mono set centrifugal pump in order to develop uniform pressure in the volute region and reduce the radial force and noise of the Centrifugal pump.
