The purpose of this paper is show that the commodification process that occurs in the Sijunjung Traditional Village to support the development of rural tourism. The process of commodification can be seen in the utilization of the Rumah Gadang as a place to stay (homestay) for visitors. Rumah Gadang for the Minangkabau people is not just a place to live but a cultural space and symbol. So that if it is made into a homestay it will create a dilemma, on the one hand, the Rumah Gadang needs to be maintained as a distinctive Minangkabau cultural monument and on the other hand, the tourism aspect can have an economic impact on the Sijunjung community. It is this dualism of Rumah Gadang as a cultural product and a tourism product that results in commodification to develop tourism in rural areas. The method used is a thorough observation of the Rumah Gadang and interviewing the residents and Ninik Mamak (traditional ruler) as members of the tribe that owns the Rumah gadang. A total of 15 Rumah Gadang have become homestays under the auspices of BCA bank CSR and are managed by the Nagari Sijunjung Traditional Village Management Agency (BP). Apart from that, Rumah Gadang still functions as a place and space for the social and cultural activities of the Sijunjung people. So that the values and norms that exist in the Rumah Gadang as a symbol of Minangkabau culture continue to run and through homestays, the Sijunjung community can get additional economic benefits from the tourism sector.

This research to describe activities of Martandang in the Mandailing tribe which has changed/lost, even though it is a custom in regulating how to get along with teenagers before marriage and local wisdom values. This research used qualitative with ethnographic approach. Techniques of collecting data were carried out by in-depth interviews, participatory observation and the oral history with 10 native speakers who had done martandang. The results show that martandang activity has changed due to technological developments and modernization, so that most of the Mandailing youth now no longer carry out this tradition. Martandang contains local wisdom values that try to regulate the way teenagers get along by recognizing each other's personalities without violating the rules or violating the norms that apply in Mandailing customs, a way to maintain the chastity of women in socializing until marriage and maintain politeness in behavior. The activities of this tradition used local expressions that can be interpreted as local wisdom values of welfare and peace. The conclusion of this study is that a revitalization model is needed that can transform the meaning and function, values and norms contained in the local wisdom of Martandang in the Mandailing generation.

Kitab al-Mustanir fi Takhrij al-Qiraat Min Haythu al-Lughah wa Al-I'rab wa al-Tafsir by Sheikh Muhammad Salim Muhaysin is one of the useful contributions to the discipline of reading. The work focuses on takhrij qiraat asyarah which is mutawatir from the point of view of language, I'rab and tafsir. In addition, knowledge of tawjih is one of the knowledges that become a link or key in understanding a reading of qiraat. Thus, this article aims to discuss and highlight the methodology of writing the book more closely and effectively. The production of this article depends a lot on the analysis of documents sourced from the works of Sheikh Muhammad Salim Muhaysin as primary sources and qiraat books or related journals as supporting data. The results of the writing show that one of the advantages of the book is through an easy-to-understand description as well as a simple and compact language because this work does not include a lengthy discussion about other recitation problems. Therefore, it is very useful if this book is used in the world of research and education today, especially those involving the integration between qiraat and other fields of knowledge.

The pandemic that hit the country has caused the learning of the Quran that was previously done face-to-face to be done online. So, this study aims to see parents' perception of the role that affects learning the Quran online. This study was conducted at an Islamic Primary School in the state of Kelantan, which is Al-Amin Tropicana Islamic Primary School in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. A total of 103 respondents consisting of first grade to sixth grade students were involved in this study. The instrument used in this study uses a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires that have been distributed in the form of google forms to obtain information. All the data obtained was analyzed using the "Statistical Package for Social Science" (SPSS) software. The results of the study found that parents are aware of their role in learning the Quran online. Their responsibility and focus is important in helping children learn the Quran in this situation. Therefore, it shows a positive impact but the children still need help from their parents to facilitate and launch the learning process of this al-Quran class. Therefore, this awareness and good culture should be given wider attention to the appreciation of the Qur'an in all levels of society.

Quran is the main source of reference for Muslims in living their daily lives. It is a holy book that is always read, practiced and inherited through the ages. Muslims study the Quran with the guidance of teachers to obtain a valid reading method. The general knowledge of the Quran is passed on to each generation by the method of taking recitations from teachers, namely talaqqī mushāfaḥah. Learning the Quran by the method of talaqqī mushāfaḥah from teacher to student has formed a continuous sanad chain. The continuity of the sanad is very important because it is one of the three pillars of the acceptance of a valid recitation of the Qur'an. However, scholars have found that there are some things that would cause the Quranic sanad to be broken or disconnected. Thus, this article will discuss the factors that lead to the discontinuity of the Quranic talaqqī sanad. The study data was collected by analyzing literature documents, while the data analysis method was also carried out descriptively. The results of the study show that there are three factors that cause the disconnection of Quranic talaqqī sanads, namely falsification of sanad (tadlīs al-Isnād), discrepancies when recording sanad chains and an attitude of not being concerned and not taking knowledge of sanad. These three factors can be overcome by expanding the study and learning related to the science of Quranic sanads. The implication of the findings of the study is that it is imperative to educate people to know and understand the knowledge of Quranic sanad

In Malaysia, the field of Qiraat studies is growing and is starting to be formally implemented in secondary schools and higher education institutions. At the secondary school level, the study of Qiraat is implemented through the Al-Quran Reading and Memorization Skills Class (KKQ). This development is a good effort, but based on the review of previous studies, the achievement for the subject of Qiraat is at a moderate level. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the challenges of implementing the Qiraat class for the Quran reading and memorization skills class (KKQ). This study is a qualitative study using a case study approach. Data collection Information was collected through interviews with five students and periodic observations. Then the data was analyzed descriptively. The results of the study found that the implementation of the Qiraat KKQ class needs to be continued so that the achievement of the Qiraat subject can be improved. Based on the achievements of students in the subject of Qiraat, it shows that students cannot master the subject of Qiraat due to several factors, namely lack of interest in the subject of Qiraat, limited learning time and lack of teaching aids. Therefore, all parties including the school, teachers and parents need to unite so that the implementation of the Qiraat class runs smoothly and can help students master the subject of Qiraat with excellence.

This study was conducted to look at the practice of learning to write al-Quran as well as the factors that influence the practice. A total of 176 secondary school students of the Kurikulum Bersepadu Tahfiz (KBT) throughout Malaysia were selected randomly as sample. This survey study uses a quantitative approach. A set of questionnaires has been formulated considering the practice of learning al-Quran writing and the factors of basic knowledge of al-Quran writing, training and guidance factors, time allocation and management factors and test and exam question factors. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The findings of the study showed that the learning practice of al-Quran writing was at a moderate level which is (mean: 3.68, s.p: 0.54) The findings also show that only the knowledge factor shows a high score which is (mean: 4.26, s.p: 0.59) The correlation analysis also shows that all four the factors studied have a significant relationship with the learning practice of al-Quran writing. Based on the results, it can be concluded that an aggressive step should be organized to improve the practice of learning the al-Quran writing because Rasulullah SAW placed great emphasis on the Al-Quran.
