Nowadays, the number of coastal areas which are rich in natural resources has declined. Such condition affects the economic status of the society in the coastal area. It is necessary for the society to be willing to explore the local wisdom in managing the natural resources. This research aimed to identify the local wisdom upheld by the Madurese fishermen in managing the fish resources and purposed to analyze the society adaptation to the sea condition when fishing. This study utilized descriptive qualitative approach through an in-depth interview with the fishermen, observation, and documentation of the local wisdom upheld by fishers in managing the fisheries resources. The results of the study showed that the Madurese fishermen uphold the local wisdom of “onjem” to manage fisheries resources. The fishermen used “onjem” to adapt to the high sea water temperature and strong waves. The fishermen utilized “onjem” to gather fish. “Onjem” is made from a rope, coconut leaf stalks, and buoys, and attach to the sea bottom using a weight. “Onjem” could lower the surrounding temperature. Thus, it attracts fish to gather around, even in a dry season or famine. Keywords—“onjem”, climate change adaptation, fishermen

Mataraman is a term for Javanese people who have the superiority of adherence and determination to the values of Javanese life. The problem is that compliance with these values turns out to have high costs for the perpetrators, as well as for people who interact with them. On the other hand, the income and resources possessed by these community groups are increasingly limited. This condition makes a shift in values as a reference for the behavior of the people of Mataraman in interacting with others. The dynamics of the existence and implementation of the luhur values of mataraman society in daily life requires the availability of capital. On the other hand, the resources to get capital are increasingly narrowed as a result of the development of knowledge and technology in each community group. The existence of kyai in NU's dynamics of voyage since its establishment occupies the most central position. As a religious and social organization the existence of NU and kyai in the course of the Indonesian nation has been in a position that cannot be negotiable, starting from its establishment, involved in the dynamics of independence, the formation of the foundations of the state, becoming a political party, back again to be a religious and civic organization to date. The anatomy of the NU movement did not only involve the kyai but over time also involved NU scholars and other elements of the nation. Santri, for example, as one of the elements of NU, also has a big contribution in this dynamic. Between kyai and santri based on existing beliefs have a structural and superstructural relationship. In the election of the governor of East Java 2018, this relationship is at its summit. The two pairs of candidates namely Saifullah Yusuf Puti Guntur Soekarno and Khafifah Indar Parawansa Emil Dardak, both have a power base NU. Group of kyai who support both candidate pairs alike have a basis of the santri’s vote. Santri in this case in accordance with the tradition of NU will carry out statement delivered by their kyai. This paper wants to explore how the relationship that was established between kyai and santri during the election process of East Java 2018. Written by the literature study method and using Habermas and Foucault's perspective to explain the presented reality.

This research aims to design a short story anthology to reenact about Indonesian national movement. In this article, we outline the conceptualization of the short story anthology, the process of designing the short story anthology, and its implementation on the history learning at 11th grade. The design of short story anthology for history learning involves several steps, namely problem analysis, designing and validating the short story anthology, and implementing and evaluating the short story anthology. The short story anthology designed for 11th grade students in Indonesia. It was validated by two experts and proved to be valid as instructional sources for history learning. Today technology seems to be a primary need, where its presence can no longer be underestimated. Every aspect of life and every element of society seems to depend on the use of technology. In fact, the first time humans started the day began with the use of technology, such as the sound of an alarm clock, viewing a smartphone, and so on. Technology is always around us and is involved in every activity we do, both light work and even the most difficult work. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach that seeks to see the technology in the midst of society and try to describe various technological phenomena that affect people's lives. The results show that technology has now entered every space in human activity. The presence of technology seems to be inseparable from humans as users. Society is increasingly dependent on technology. Because technology offers convenience and everything that is practical, instant, flexible, and efficient. Thus, the presence of technology indirectly also changes a person's social behavior in everyday life. Keywords—Social Behavior, Social Change, Society, Technology.
