This study used a sample of 168 college students. There are three scales used, namely the academic stress scale (rx equals 0.866), the resilience scale (rx equals 0.935), and the perceived social support scale (rx equals 0.856). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the hypothesis show that there is a significant relationship between resilience and perceived social support with academic stress in college students (sig equals 0,000 less than 0.05 and R square equals 0.102), with a low relationship strength (R equals 0.319). In addition, the contribution of resilience and perceived social support to academic stress is 10.2 percent, there is a significant relationship between resilience and academic stress (sig. equals 0.000 less than 0.05), and there is no significant relationship between perceived social support and academic stress (sig. equals 0.588 more than 0.05). Resilience gave an effective contribution of 10.2 percent.

Pembangunan ekuitas produk menjadi hal penting dalam memenangkan kompetisi perusahaan. Salah satu upaya yang sering digunakan adalah dengan memanfaatkan endorser. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kredibilitas typical person endorser produk R dengan ekuitas merek. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif dan korelasional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Negeri Malang angkatan 2014–2018 berjumlah 697 orang mahasiswa yang memiliki karakteristik: (1) pengguna produk R; dan (2) pernah melihat bintang iklan produk R. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 orang merupakan sampel populasi. Terdapat dua instrumen yang digunakan, yaitu: (1) skala ekuitas merek produk yang terdiri atas 19 item; dan (2) skala kredibilitas endorser yang terdiri atas 15 item. Uji hipotesis menggunakan Pearson’s product moment. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh data rxy sebesar 0,461 dengan signifikansi 0,000. Dengan demikian, terdapat hubungan positif dan dalam kategori cukup antara kredibilitas typical person endorser dengan ekuitas merek produk R pada mahasiswa. Saran yang diberikan untuk perusahaan, yaitu perusahaan bisa memilih typical person endorser sebagai pendukung merek sekaligus juru bicara dalam iklan yang patut dipertimbangkan. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya dapat mendalami penelitian ini pada analisis per aspek kredibilitas typical person endorser.

The Covid-19 pandemic caused overseas students to experience limitations and resulted in stressful conditions. The purpose of this study was to see the influence of emotional intelligence on stress in overseas students during the pandemic. The sampling method used was quota sampling technique, involving 141 overseas students in Salatiga. This research used the Perceived Stress Scale and the Emotional Intelligence Scale. The results of the regression test show that the significance value is 0.052 (p more than 0.05), so it can be concluded that there is no influence between emotional intelligence on stress in overseas students during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of persuasive communication through the use of pictures of the positive impact of smoking cessation to increase motivation to quit smoking. The study was conducted using a quasi-experimental method involving 30 male subjects with an age range of 20–23 years and with low to moderate smoking cessation motivation scores. The design of this study used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The motivation of the subjects was assessed using Barus’ motivation scale to quit smoking. The data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed that persuasive communication through pictures of the positive impact of quitting smoking can be effective in increasing motivation to quit smoking. This was because the persuasion communication process results in a change in information about smoking, which in this study focused on the positive impact of quitting smoking. This change in information then became a reinforcement because the provision of media images that show the positive impact of quitting smoking was

Infromasi Artikel Abstrak Tanggal masuk 22-02-2022 Masa remaja ditandai dengan perubahan fisik dan perubahan sosial yang dapat berdampak pada diri, salah satunya pada body image. Body image berkaitan dengan self esteem dan gratitude. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh self esteem dan gratitude terhadap body image secara parsial dan simultan pada remaja laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja laki-laki di Kota Malang. Sampel penelitian adalah 314 individu berusia 12–21 tahun yang berdomisili di Kota Malang dan berjenis kelamin laki-laki, yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala self esteem, skala gratitude, dan skala body image. Uji validitas dalam penelitian ini adalah validitas isi dan uji beda dihitung dengan menggunakan korelasi Pearson’s productmoment. Reliabilitas instrumen berada pada kategori tinggi, dihitung menggunakan rumus Cronbach’s alpha. Analisis data yang digunakan, yaitu analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linier sederhana, dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self esteem dan gratitude berperan terhadap body image secara simultan dengan F sama dengan 86,556 dan p sama dengan 0,000 (p kurang dari 0,05). Secara parsial, diperoleh nilai p sama dengan 0,000 (p kurang dari 0,05) untuk self esteem dengan body image dan p sama dengan 0,000 (p kurang dari 0,05) untuk gratitude dengan body image. Oleh sebab itu, sebagai upaya agar remaja laki-laki memiliki positive body image, maka perlu dipertimbangkan langkah-langkah pencegahan atau intervensi secara psikologis maupun program mengenai strategi peningkatan self esteem dan gratitude. Body shape dissatisfaction is an individual’s negative perception about their body due to the discrepancy between their ideal and actual bodies. Self-objectification, in which people see themselves as an object observed by others, is one of the factors predicting body shape dissatisfaction. This study hypothesized that there is a correlation between each dimension of self-objectification with body shape dissatisfaction in adolescent Instagram users. This study involved celebrities, sports, or models. The data were collected using online questionnaires, including the Objectified Body Consciousness Scale (OBCS) and Body Dissatisfaction Scale (BDS). Spearman’s correlation coefficient was applied to analyze data. The results showed that there is a positive correlation of self-objectification dimensions, i.e., body surveillance, internalizing cultural view and body shame, with body shape dissatisfaction. This study aims to understand the relationship between calling and work attachment to teachers, carried out using a quantitative approach with a correlational type of research. Research instruments used were the Calling and Vocation Questionnaire and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale which has been adapted into Indonesian. Through purposive sampling technique, the respondents obtained were 82 teachers with a minimum working period of one year. With the Pearson’s correlation analysis, we found that the presence of calling and search for calling was significantly correlated with work engagement. It means that both teachers who had discerned a calling and those who were still actively searching for calling had strong work engagements.

time-series design. The D2 of Attention Test instrument was used to measure selective attention. Subject to this research was a child with predominant inattention ADHD taken with purposive sampling techniques. The results of the measurement of the TN-E score at the pretest stage obtained 290 points, increasing at the posttest stage to 413 points. Compared to the norm for ADHD at the age of eigth years, there was an increase from the below average category to the above average category. Based on quantitative data and qualitative data, results shows that the training method to increase selective attention with a psychoeducational approach can be used to improve selective attention skills in children with ADHD.

The aim of this study was examined the relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination of students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used a correlational quantitative method. The sampling technique uses convenience sampling. The sample used was 162 college students from several study programs at Institut Agama Kristen Negeri Tarutung. The academic procrastination (PA) and self-efficacy (ED) scales were used to measure academic procrastination and self-efficacy. Study results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination during the COVID-19 pandemic period obtained r equal -0.511 with significant p equal 0,000 (p less than 0.01). Doing other activities that are more fun than doing assignments was the highest correlation of aspect of academic procrastination. Some of the activities carried out at home during the COVID-19 pandemic period include choosing to play handphone, watching, playing games and social media (eq. YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp),
