Self-organizing feature map and some questions that challenge our attention in its application to cluster analysis on technological innovation ability of enterprises are expatiated on. Taking the middle and large-sized industrial enterprises in Henan province as an example, this paper elaborates on how to assign a value to each parameter in the learning algorithm of self-organizing feature map and programs directly using the toolbox of MATLAB software. The conclusions reveal that self-organizing feature map is appropriate for the cluster analysis on technological innovation ability of enterprises.

A new method for sonar image denoising which colligated the strongpoint of Surfacelet transform and sample matrix was presented. Surfacelet transform is good at multidimensional signal processing, but Surfacelet transform is not adapted to process 2-D image directly. In this paper, a noise images based on sample matrix is cycled spinning at a direction and compressed to image sequence, which is implemented Surfacelet transform and employed the hard thresholding denoising to coefficient respectively and then linear average in airspace. The experimental results indicate that image de-noised has not Gibbs-like phenomena of Wavelet and nick effect. The method not only can get obviously better visual effect and high PSNR value, but also hold detail and texture of image.

A new kind of excitation controller of harmonic wave excited synchronous generator is proposed in this paper. The controller can adjust the excitation current by adjusting duty circle of the PWM wave, in order to keep the terminal voltage at the expectation value. To solve the problems existing in the conventional PID algorithm, the duty circle of the PWM wave is calculated by PID and fuzzy integrated algorithm which can employ different control algorithm to adapt to the different case. In addition, the S3C2410A with ARM920T CPU core has been used as CPU of the controller, which makes the controller finish the complex algorithm in time. So the high speed and real-time performance can be guaranteed. The simulation result shows the controller with PID-FUZZY composite algorithm is better than traditional PID controller both in speediness and in stability. Whatpsilas more important, the controller can be adapted to the different generators without change the parameters as the controller with traditional PID algorithm. In addition, the experiment on the W6-90 KW harmonic excitation generator has shown the generator with excitation controller designed in this paper can running steadily, and its various parameters performances can reach the national standards.

To replace the heavy desktops to perform the operations of the administration of the intelligent door lock, the 32-bit ARM CPU of PHILIPS has been chosen as the core and the real time operating system muC/OS-II as the platform to deal with data through the way of wireless transmission. We have successfully developed a portable control system of the intelligent door lock and solved the inconvenience caused by the fact that the desktops cannot be moved to operate, which can conveniently administrate the clienteles in hotel.

Filled function method is an approach to find the global minimum of nonlinear functions. Many problems, such as computing, communication control, and management, in real applications naturally result in global optimization formulations in a form of nonlinear global integer programming. This paper gives a modified filled function method to solve the nonlinear global integer programming problem. The properties of the proposed modified filled function are also discussed in this paper. The results of preliminary numerical experiments are also reported.

The H-infinity fault-tolerant control problem of delta operator formulated linear systems with circular pole constraints is considered. Based on the delta operator bounded real lemma, a necessary and sufficient condition of D-stable Hinfin control for delta operator systems with actuator failure is presented using the matrix inequality approach. The design of H-infinity fault-tolerant controller with pole assignment is transformed into solving a Riccati inequality. The proposed results can be regarded as extensions of existing results on Hinfin control and pole assignment of fault-tolerant control systems using delta operator. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

A new background subtraction algorithm based on two thresholds sequential clustering is proposed in this paper. First, pixel intensity in period of time is classified based on two thresholds sequential clustering. Second, merging procedure is run to classified classes. Finally, the backgrounds of scene are selected, so the background model can represent the scene well. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is robust to the thresholds, those near classes are avoided at all, and the effect of input order of data has been reduced greatly. And the background model can represent the scene well.

A combustion optimizing model based on RBF neural networks is set up, and the optimizations of providing coal volume and real generating electricity power are actualized. At the same time, the simulation model is established by MATLAB. The simulation research is processed. The simulation result indicates: in the stabilization state, if the boiler load, power plant coal character (the distinctness of coal heat glowing volume), combustion supplying air volume or combustion inducing air volume changes, the combustion optimizing model based on RBF neural networks can find the optimum values of providing coal volume and real generating electricity power. This result lays a strong base for optimal control and on-line prediction of the boiler.

Generalized data center can be established to manage and maintain heterogeneous application systems as a whole in university, which promotes capability of application services and reduces workload of other departments. Generalized data center's architecture based on network storage and backup technology is proposed, in which application systems are divided into fixed data and change data. Fixed data are backed up and change data are stored centrally, so that service can be recovered in short time and data of service are real-time when there is fault of software or hardware in application system. This architecture only needs 3 additional systems to ensure multiple applications' services. It is a low-cost, high-availability, high-dependability, high-performance, high-scalability architecture and fully meets requirements of universities and other similar enterprises.

Integral imaging (II) is a three-dimensional (3D) imaging technique that can record and display a 3D scene using a lenslet array or a pinhole array. In this paper, we research on low-resolution of computational reconstructed 3D images and propose a method of improving visual quality of computational II reconstructed images. The proposed method extracts pixels block from each elemental image, and then complicatedly interpolates the adjacent pixel blocks to reconstruct image. This reduces pixel-blocking effect existing in direct pixel blocks reconstruction and provides further image quality enhancement of reconstructed image.
