The survival rate of SMEs and consequently their business performance within the current competitive environment are essential for the economic development of most economies, particularly for developing countries. For this study, the secondary sources supported to supply an in-depth literature study and to postulate the hypotheses. The first source for data was surveyed instrument (questionnaire method) and snowball sampling technique was wont to collect data through referral-chain. The sensible implications are that SMEs management and manager need to strengthen the formal strategic planning and practices so as to reinforce the firm’s performance. Furthermore, appropriate business growth plan should be considered as a management tool to extend their market share and growth. the most contributions of this study are that it adds to the prevailing literature review and analyzed various dimensions of strategic planning and management practices within the context Strategic management practices ask a series of designing steps that support firms or corporations to define their mission, vision, goals, and objectives also as support in analysis the environmental. Thus, it are often implied that strategic management practices integrate the objectives and policies of the firm, and therefore the sequence of business decision-making and action is comprehensible as an entire , where the management and managers play a crucial role in strategic management practices and planning. Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) plays a crucial role within the world’s economies, as they create jobs and add value via innovation. However, the contributions and performance may vary from one firm to a different within sectors, country, and nations. The last decade has seen the emergence of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) as a technique to underpin organizational performance improvement in improving customer retention, customer satisfaction and customer value. However, despite many studies conducted on customer relationship management in various industries in the past 20 years, there is still significant disagreement about its definition and meaning, and the framework for the effective implementation and evaluation of customer relationship management practice. Moreover, there is a lack of systematic empirical evidence regarding the success factors for the CRM performance. Objective: To address these issues, this study examines the influence of top management and customer orientation on CRM performance. Results: In this quantitative study, a total of 133 Jordanian hotels participated in this study by voluntarily completing the survey questionnaire, constituting an overall 66% response rate. From the analysis undertaken, it was found that Top Management significantly influence CRM performance But. this research found insignificant relationship between customer orientation and CRM performance Conclusion: The results suggest that hotels should have processes to maintain, analyze, and integrate customer information. Theoretical and managerial implications of these findings are discussed.

This paper presents a review on how important the intercooling of air compressor is necessary for an efficient process. Basically the meaning of air compression is to reduce a specified volume, resulting in an increase in pressure. For improving efficiency of the system compression is done in more than one stage and between each stage intercooler is provided. Intercooler improves the quality of air and reduces inlet air temperature. The function of the intercooler is to cool the air as it leaves the Low Pressure cylinder and before it enters the High Pressure cylinder. This improves the efficiency of the compressor and ensures that the temperature of the air receiver outlet valves is just right for optimum operation of the tools connected to the compressor. The cooler is composed of sheet metal plate elements or tabular core. Type VT4 compressor is a Two Stage Reciprocating Air Compressors which is most widely used for Industrial Purpose. This paper highlights the various efforts of the various researchers. On the basis of various researches it is proposed that the change in size of intercooler will avoid heating in High Pressure Cylinder during long run.

Today India has become number one in milk production, producing 140 million tons per annum with approx. 20% of the total milk production is handled by the organized sectors. Dairy and food industries are fast growing industries and day-by-day newer technologies are being introduced to get better quality of foods. Most of the milk processing operations, room conditioning for milk product packaging and cold stores for milk milk products are operating on grid electric supply. Energy is one of the critical inputs for economic development of any Country. In order to overcome the present energy scenario problems, energy should be conserved and since we are consuming disproportionate amount of energy that day is not far when all our Non-Renewable resources will expire forcing us to rely just on Renewable Sources. To overcome problem the use of renewable energy mainly solar bio energy in the dairy is generally found for hot water supply to boiler, hot water generator for processing of milk or for CIP cleaning. Use of renewable energy has great scope for its commercial use in the dairy processing operations and It is estimated that renewable energy could contribute to at least half of all electric power in each of the large economies by 2050.

The Quality Management System provides the environment within which related tools, techniques and procedures can be deployed effectively leading to operational success for a construction project. Top management commitment towards quality management system is generally perceived as one of the key factors in determining its success. The purpose of this research paper was to understand role of top management in connection with implementation of ISO 9001:2015. Extra high quality assurance has been followed for construction of bridge which enabled to set up third party quality assurance consultancy (Lloyd’s Register Asia (LRA)). The author worked with the QA company and thestate department (DTTDC) to perform various quality assurance checks and helped in implementation of quality management system ISO 9001:2015 (clause 5.1). The problem faced by the top management at was to keep track of the various activities at site for e.g. bolt testing which also includes documentation of joints of steel girder that are QA passed. Gantt charts were used to depict the data collected by performing the given set of procedure to check the quality like Bolt tightness and perform various other quality checks related to bolt that helped in successful implementation of ISO 9001:2015.

Prototyping or model making is one of the important steps to finalize a product design. It helps in conceptualization of a design. Before the start of full production a prototype is usually fabricated and tested. RP processes namely Stereo-lithography (SL), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) are described. In Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) process, fine polymeric powder like polystyrene, polycarbonate or polyamide etc. (20 to 100 micrometer diameter) is spread on the substrate using a roller. Before starting CO2 laser scanning for sintering of a slice the temperature of the entire bed is raised just below its melting point by infrared heating in order to minimize thermal distortion (curling) and facilitate fusion to the previous layer. The laser is modulated in such a way that only those grains, which are in direct contact with the beam, are affected. Once laser scanning cures a slice, bed is lowered and powder feed chamber is raised so that a covering of powder can be spread evenly over the build area by counter rotating roller. In this process support structures are not required as the un-sintered powder remains at the places of support structure. It is cleaned away and can be recycled once the model is complete. This research has examined the effect of Laser power as well as processing parameters on the mechanical properties of selective laser sintered parts from DURAFORM PA In this research tensile specimens of Polyamide (DURAFORM PA) material as per the test standard ‘ASTM D638’ are fabricated. This test method covers the determination of the tensile properties of unreinforced and reinforced plastics in the form of standard dumbbell-shaped test specimens when tested under defined conditions of pre-treatment, temperature, humidity, and testing machine speed. The effects of varying the Laser power, generated by the laser, on the physical and mechanical properties of produced specimens. The energy density is varied by changing the laser power at a fixed value of laser scan spacing. Knowing the relationship between SLS parameter settings and material properties will make it possible to manufacture parts with predetermined properties, customized for various applications.

The concept of the paper idea is to automate the railways system. We are using the idea of Global Position system(GPS) for tracking every trains and a proposed system by which every trains are personally monitored and passing necessary messages to the individual trains .The train with the GPS Module and GSM module on board. This would enable passenger can simply query the location of a train via SMS from his mobile phone but will also enable us to provide real time train tracking system. It is developed with a goal to reduce the waiting time of the passenger. The train units will response to the user mobile with the GPS coordinates of the present location of trains. There is a base station where the train movement will be displayed on a screen. The motivation for the paper came from due to the lack of control over railways in India as we hardly get to know the exact position of the train while standing at the station. Method of Metro implements modern techniques to control the railways motivate us to design a system for the complete railway system.

Die wear is an undesired and unpredictable failure and downtime reason in metal forming operations. It directly affects the part formability and surface quality, and causes production loss, cost increase and delays. In sheet metal stamping, the wear of deforming dies continues to be a great concern to the automotive industry as a result of increasing die maintenance cost and scrap rate. The demand to reduce the use of lubricants and increase tool life in sheet metal stamping has resulted in increased research on the suitable combination of die materials. During production, the higher forming forces, higher wear; galling and premature die surface failures, and eventually insufficient product quality, interrupted production, and unexpected cost increases. Hence, in order to prolong the die-life, reduce down-time, and increase production rate and profitability; manufacturers are looking into alternative die materials, coatings, lubricants and their compatible combinations that would increase the die-life/ performance at reasonable cost levels. There are so many options and combinations of die materials and coatings that it is rather time-consuming to select a proper, if not optimal, pair of die material and coating for a given application. The various types of tool or die steels are there which are used in industries like sheet metal industry and press working. The wear of tools or dies is a common problem in these industries. Hence the present study aims to investigate the wear performance of AISI D3 die steel against mild steel under dry sliding conditions. Sliding parameters such as sliding speed, sliding time and normal load are taken.
