Review of 3D Printing Technologies and Considerations on Their Use in Orthopedy 3D打印技术综述及其在骨科中的应用

Objectives. 3D printing has become a mainstream manufacturing technology and can provide printing with different materials such as plastics, resins, powders, and other polymers. The goal of this review is to observe most popular additive manufacturing techniques and choose most suitable techniques for medical orthopedic purposes. Methods. In this review is compiled various publications and reviews about 3D printing techniques to make a choice and decisions about most suitable technique for medical orthopedic purposes. Results. 3D printing technology is highly grown in last years and has significantly improved all printing parameters. Most suitable technology to produce medical part and structures is SLA and FDM techniques. Significance. Right now, 3D printing has a significant place in manufacturing industries and especially in medicine, where dental and orthopedic parts is needed to be produced in accordance with each person demands. Although, existing techniques is complex and not perfect and may be improved and upgraded in the future to provide best experience of the 3D printing.

District Heating Simulation Model Development to Solve Optimization Problems in the Market Conditions 解决市场条件下优化问题的区域供热仿真模型开发

The paper reviews recent attempts to create and use district heating simulation by district heat companies to solve district heat network optimization problems in the market conditions. Today's market conditions determine a higher quality product to the consumer at the lowest possible prices. In order to fulfill such requirements, it is necessary to make accurate calculations, planning, and realization in life. District heat network model conformity level to reality determines the precision of planning and implementation of optimization solutions of district heat network in life. Creating of working district heat network model for simulations is a complex task where many parameters should be taken into account. In this paper, the authors examine mistakes and solutions of case study - district heat network model structure and it's conformity to the real object (5 biggest Latvian cities). Based on case study authors developed and offered methodology that provides minimal investment solutions to correctly create a model with the level of accuracy where the model can be used for correct simulations to perform a feasibility study for new consumer connection, heat load distributing between heat sources and implementing energy efficient events in interchangeability of heat supply/power supply/gas supply systems. By using the authors methodology it is possible to develop the correct district heating simulation model, analyze the conformity of the developed model to life, and determine the level of accuracy to perform the feasibility study.

Analysis of magnetohydrodynamic generator driven by thermoacoustic engine for deep Space applications 深空热声发动机驱动磁流体动力发生器分析

This paper discusses the results of theoretical and experimental investigation of magnetohydrodynamic generator with liquid metal working body. This electric machine is used to convert mechanical energy, supplied by thermoacoustic engine, to an AC form of electrical energy. The purpose of this technology is an electricity production in deep Space, potentially suitable for long term missions far away from Sun.

Challenges of climate change and energy policies are wide. Moreover, if our society are planning to solve them, it is significant to educate people in appropriate way. The intellectual and social problems associated with climate change are perhaps the main justification for why we need open research and the dialogue that universities can provide.

Optimization free of algorithm-specific control parameters for Power System Stabilizer tuning 无算法控制参数的电力系统稳定器整定优化

A settings-free and derivative-free optimization technique, called Jaya Optimization Algorithm, is investigated in this paper for the design of simple fuzzy PSSs (FPSSs) in a multimachine power system. Performance of this technique during the optimization process is compared to the one exhibited by a Bat Optimization Algorithm based approach. Considering a set of test cases for illustrative purposes, FPSSs tuned with both of these algorithms are applied to the study system and their performance in damping inter-area and local oscillations is analyzed against some commonly used lead-lag structures, including multi-band PSSs.

Selection of the initial state and duration of the planning period in the tasks of managing energy storage systems 在储能系统管理任务中,规划周期初始状态和时间段的选择

The large-scale use of renewable energy sources and combined heat and power plants and the unstable, poorly controlled nature of consumption aggravate the problem of energy storage. When designing and operating storage plants, the task is to ensure their profitability. Usually optimization tasks are formulated with the goal of maximizing profits. When solving these problems, significant difficulties may arise, since in the general case they are nonlinear, stochastic, multistage and contain a large number of decision and state variables. This article is devoted to the problem of ensuring acceptable accuracy and time spent on maximizing profits of pumped storage hydropower plants. Based on an analysis based on the data from a real power plant, Nord Pool electricity price records and mixed integer linear programming, the dependence of the optimisation results on the initial state of the reservoirs and the duration of the planning period is shown. The results can be used both when controlling real stations and at the stage of their feasibility study.

Videoconference is an area of information technology that provides simultaneous two-way transmission, processing, conversion and presentation of interactive information at a distance in real time using hardware and software of computer technology. Using a web conference allows you to expand the capabilities of the communication form in which several computer users connected to the Internet constantly see the same screen in their web browsers. Some web conferencing systems include features such as text messaging, video recording, voice over Internet protocol (VoIP), and full video. However, despite all the advantages of this technology, there are also disadvantages to using the product.

A method is proposed for calculating the nominal power of power plants for powering an autonomous power supply system of industrial and non-industrial facilities based on updated load values, as well as the power of an electric energy storage device, taking into account the consumption characteristics of power plants according to the criteria for minimizing fuel consumption, reducing the power of power plants and payback period.

A New Transformer-Less Single Switch Boost DC-DC Converter with Lower Stress 一种新型低应力无变压器单开关升压DC-DC变换器

This paper presents a new transformer-less single switch structure for boost dc-dc converter with less stress. This proposed converter is introduced by using voltage-lift (VL) technique. In VL technique, the operating of a dc-dc converter completed using features of storage elements. In this paper, the voltage and current relations of proposed converter are extracted in continuous current mode (CCM). After, the voltage and current gains of the proposed converter are calculated in CCM. Then, the current and voltage stress of switch are analyzed. The compression of the proposed converter and some other boost dc-dc converter are also presented. The simulation results of proposed converter in CCM are done by PSCAD/EMTDC software to validity of theoretical concepts.

Neural Network Based UAV Optimal Control Algorithm for Energy Efficiency Maximization 基于神经网络的无人机能效优化控制算法

One of the important problems in the field of unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAV) is energy efficiency. By the results of this research authors contribute to development of energy efficient control system of the UAV. Energy consumption of the UAV is optimized by implementation of neural network based algorithm used to control electric drive. Additional UAV optimization controller is proposed for energy efficient flight control. Neural network based structure extends the adaptive search algorithm allowing significantly reduce time to find out the value of optimal control signals and maximize energy efficiency of the UAV.
能源效率是无人驾驶汽车领域的重要问题之一。本文的研究成果为开发高效节能的无人机控制系统做出了贡献。采用基于神经网络的电驱动控制算法对无人机的能耗进行优化。为了实现高效节能的飞行控制,提出了附加的无人机优化控制器。基于神经网络的结构扩展了自适应搜索算法,大大减少了寻找最优控制信号值的时间,最大化了无人机的能效。
