Security measures are meant to protect the three key principles of security which are confidentiality, integrity and accountability. Previous research has shown that humans are the weakest link in any information security system and focus must be given to them. In light of the steady increase of cybercrime incidents, this study aims to investigate the security measures applied by university students in order to secure their own privacy, security and the organization as a whole. Through quantitative descriptive analysis, it is evidenced that the students have good security awareness through their selection of security measures that they apply. However, none of the security measures suggested were 100% implemented by the students. This shows that there are still loopholes available for security vulnerabilities to happen. There are needs for continuous effort from the management to ensure that there are Security Guidelines for the students to follow and that all the security measures suggested are applied accordingly.

In this paper, we proposed a rating index to determine the game-disorder risk of a game based on game attributes and player attributes. We collected 24,950 active user profile data for 20 games from a popular game platform called Steam. Using an unsupervised machine learning clustering approach -DBSCAN and game-disorder prevalence index as its threshold, we found that the game-disorder risk is not concerned with their popularity. However, it has more relation to game features such as "Open World", "Action" and "Multiplayer".

During the covid-19 pandemic, students’ online learning quality is imbued with teachers’ support strategies while students’ learning engagement is another great indicator underlies their learning experiences. Through a questionnaire survey of 500 freshmen who have had their college English class online in 2022 fall, an investigation using exploratory factor analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, stepwise regression analysis and parallel mediator model reveals the impact of teachers’ support strategies (the six dimensions of challenge, authentic context, curiosity, autonomy, recognition and feedback) on the learners’ online college English learning engagement (the four dimensions of cognitive engagement, behavioral engagement, emotional engagement, social engagement), thus particular concern is also given to the correlation with students’ online learning experiences. It was found that even under diversified and comprehensive guiding strategies from teachers, university students’ online college English learning engagement is at the medium level, among which the cognitive engagement should be devoted more. The experimental data also shows that teachers’ support strategies have significant influence on learners’ engagement, especially teachers’ feedback and challenge setting will stimulate students to involve more in their study. In addition, both teachers’ support strategies and students’ learning engagement involves significant reflection of learning experiences accordingly. Based on this learning concept, related proposals see different degrees of prominence reflected in online instructional design, teachers’ and students’ feedback literacy, and technology-enabled innovative teaching practice are put forward, in order to effectively play the role of teacher scaffolding, learning experiences enrichment and students’ engagement enhancement of online English learning.

This paper discusses a method of simplifying the model of information dissemination and mainly eliminating errors statistically without going into semantics for the same content collected from many information sources scattered over the network. In the methods we proposed in the past, it is assumed that the same content collected from the sources can be divided into parts that have independent values. By taking a majority vote about the value of each part, the content consisting of only the part with major values is reconstructed. For the improvement of the extraction accuracy of the reliable part of the target content, more efficient weighting ways of majority voting and their effects are discussed.

E-commerce consumer habits change has revolutionized the supply chains worldwide. Special attention has been drawn to last mile operations since typically it is the most expensive part of logistics. This requires that professionals, and specially students, are properly trained to solve more complex problems, like vehicle routing to perform home deliveries. Solution methods to this problem require a set of skills which not all bachelor programs develop in students, making the teaching-learning process more difficult. As a strategy to provide students more resources that foster the necessary competences, a decision support system is developed in this project and evaluated in terms of the student perception of the application of theory to solve real-life situations. The proposed system requires no coding skills and provides near to optimal solutions in reasonable amount of time. Results indicate the use of aiding teaching tools improve learning; however careful selection of complementary tools is needed to maximize the understanding of theory in practice.

With the development of information technology, the smart classroom, as a typical media-rich learning environment, is gradually becoming one of the important contexts for instructional activities in higher education. This study focuses on what factors influence seating preferences in smart classrooms. We selected a typical smart classroom layout and a questionnaire method was used with 84 valid participants in a smart classroom. The logistic regression analysis method was executed and used to analyze the individual seat selection preference characteristics and explore the factors influencing the individual's seat preference in the smart classroom. We found that age and intrinsic motivation could predict the preference for distance from the podium, while expected performance can predict the preference for distance from the center in a smart classroom. In instructional practice, teachers should respect students' seating preferences and adopt reasonable seating assignment strategies.

Python programming is widely used in scientific computing, data processing, visualization, image processing, natural language processing, machine learning, artificial intelligence and other fields, and more and more majors offer this course to provide strong support for cultivating high-quality composite "new engineering" talents. This paper explores the teaching of Python programming course for biomedical engineering majors in view of the shortcomings of the current teaching of Python programming, from several aspects such as the objectives and ideas of hybrid teaching, the content and structure of hybrid teaching in PBL mode, the design of online and offline teaching steps and teaching activities, and the design of course assessment system. The aim is to enhance students' self-learning ability and motivate them to learn, so as to cultivate their comprehensive and innovative practical application ability.

At present, the deep integration of technology and education has become the focus of researchers. In order to better apply information technology to online learning and provide technical support for personalized learning. This paper constructs learner portrait model from four dimensions: personal information, learning style, behavioral characteristics and learning performance. According to xAPI standard, learning behavior activity flow is designed to collect learning data, extract learning behavior tags and build learner portrait. Finally, the overall analysis and group analysis of learner portrait are carried out with the help of learning analysis, so as to provide personalized and accurate online learning support services for learners and improve learning efficiency and quality.

With frustrating environmental changes, many farmers struggle with their productivity and quality of their crops. As they were tempted to use chemicals to their farms, they were required to update their knowledge and skills in order to achieve proper use and safety for their crops, their lands and their lives. This study was a part of a rice farmer training project which aimed to achieve effective training program that could enhance farmers’ knowledge in rice farming when the chemicals were inevitable for some areas. An explorative study was conducted to investigate insight and needs of knowledge of chemical usage. Then the insight was used in designing and developing an active lesson with informative chatbot, so called ‘Smart Farmer’. This chatbot has served as a knowledge-based agent to facilitate the active lesson with Reflect-Connect-Apply context-based approach for the grassroots farmers in Thailand. The in-dept interview and questionnaire were conducted after the context-based lesson. The results show that a considerate design with most to least frequent rankings of chemicals usage and farming troubles should be incorporated in the context of class instructive flow of the training program as well as in the design of chatbot and other instructive materials.

Cloud computing is a technology that impacted the performance of modern markets and businesses. Because of this, cloud computing has become more significant to humans with its virtualization and distributed computing. However, according to the gathered literature for this paper, cloud computing imposes security concerns. This paper examines the definition of cloud computing by analyzing its historical perspective, architecture, and framework. We attempt to understand cloud security threats by classifying their type and affected cloud layers. From that, we correlate our assessments to the virtualization of Philippine education.
