Development of Contextual-Based Mathematics Learning Tools on the Subject of Comparison 基于情境的数学比较学习工具的开发

The learning process cannot be separated from the use of learning tools, the entire learning process has been planned in these learning tools. This study aims to produce a contextual-based mathematics learning tool on the subject of comparison of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar which is valid, practical and effective. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with reference to the 4-D Thiagarajan model, namely: (1) the define stage, (2) the design stage, (3) the develop stage, and (4) the disseminate stage. The instruments used were validation sheets, student response questionnaires, observation sheets for device implementation, and learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of the validation of the experts, the products developed and the instruments used for each aspect were in the "valid" to "very valid" category on average. In the field trial, it was found that: (1) the instrument used to measure the practicality found that the device developed was carried out well, the average value of all aspects of the observation was carried out and the response questionnaire analysis was in the "positive" category (2) the instrument for measuring the effectiveness The data obtained from the test of learning outcomes with an average score of students reaching 83.3%, student activity was as expected, and observations of learning management were in the high category. So that this study produces a contextual-based mathematics learning tool product on the subject of comparison of class VII SMPN 27 Makassar which is valid, practical and effective.

Effectiveness of Website as a Mathematics Learning Media During the Online Learning Period 在线学习期间,网站作为数学学习媒介的有效性

The Covid-19 pandemic caused learning activities to immediately stop and be diverted online. There are many obstacles faced by teachers and students. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the right learning media so that the learning process remains optimal. One media that can be used as a learning media is a website. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the website as a media  for learning mathematics during the online learning period. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with survey method. The sample in this study were 15 students of class VIII SMP Nurul Falah Pekanbaru who were selected by simple random sampling technique. Data obtained using google form which contains statements related to 5 aspects of website assessment, clarity of material, interactivity, accessibility, nature of efficiency, and effectiveness. The results obtained by the majority of students like the website as a medium for learning mathematics. The effectiveness of using the website was in the quite good category, 40% of students said the website was very effective, 53,3% said it was effective, and only 6,7% said it was ineffective. Based on this, the website becomes an effective learning medium to be used during the online learning period.

Developing Student Worksheet for Grade Seven on Social Arithmetics and Its Use in Flipped Classroom Blended Learning 七年级学生社会算术作业表的开发及其在翻转课堂混合式学习中的应用

This Student Worksheet were structured and developed for grade sevenon Social Arithmetic and its used in flipped classroom blended learning. This Student Worksheetwas designed like an android application with codular. The purpose of this research is to develop social arithmetic worksheet which is valid, practical and effective for grade seven in flipped classroom blended learning. The development model used in developing this studentworksheets is Four D Model. Methode for conducting this research is the observation method to see the effectiveness and practically, the test method and questionnaire method used to see the effectiveness of student worksheet. The results of this study are the results of the Student Worksheet validation score that meet the valid criteria (3.6 out of 4.00) based on the results of the validator. This Student Worksheet obtained a very good conclusion and was declared practical (94.73%) based on observations of teacher activities. Student Worksheets with the subject of social arithmetic and their used in the flipped classroom blended learning is categorized as effective based on student test results (100%), observations of student activities (96.88%) and student response results (100%).

Increasing Students’ Communication Skills and Independence Through Realistic Mathematics Learning Assisted by Google Classroom 通过谷歌课堂辅助的现实数学学习提高学生的沟通能力和独立性

The purpose and problem formulation of this research is to find out whether realistic mathematics learning assisted by google classroom can improve students' communication skills and independence. This research method is descriptive quantitative research. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Pangkat in February-March 2021 in the even semester of the 2020/2021 learning year. The sample in this study were 25 students who were taken from the total population of data and could represent the entire population with the sample collection technique, namely the random sampling technique. The instruments used were tests and questionnaires with the data analysis technique using multiple regression tests. The results of this study were tested with multiple correlation test which resulted in a significant value of 0.011 < 0.05 and F counting 5.663 > F table 3.42. With an increase in communication skills and student independence simultaneously (simultaneously) to variable Y is 34%. So it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' communication skills and independence through realistic mathematics learning (PMR) assisted by google classroom.

Analysis of Students' Mathematical Communication Ability on Geometry Material 几何材料学生数学沟通能力分析

The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical communication skills of prospective elementary school teacher students on Geometry material. This research method is descriptive qualitative analyzed from the given instrument. The instrument in this study was in the form of 4 written test questions. The subjects of this study were 34 students in the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, FKIP, Mataram University. The indicators used in this study are 4 indicators of mathematical communication skills, namely explaining mathematical ideas in the form of images, explaining ideas, situations in written form, connecting images to mathematical ideas and reading with the understanding of a written mathematical representation. From the results of data analysis, it was found that the students' mathematical communication skills in the Geometry material were in the very low category. This can be seen from the results of the recapitulation of student answers and the results of the conversion of student scores with the successive percentages of 45.58% and 50%, especially in questions with reading indicators with an understanding of a mathematical representation.
摘要本研究旨在探讨准小学教师学生在几何教材上的数学沟通能力。本研究方法是根据给定的仪器进行描述性定性分析。本研究使用的工具为4道笔试题。本研究以马塔兰大学FKIP小学教师教育研究计划的34名学生为研究对象。本研究使用的指标是数学沟通能力的4个指标,即以图像形式解释数学思想、以书面形式解释思想、以书面形式描述情景、将图像与数学思想联系起来以及通过理解书面数学表示进行阅读。从数据分析的结果来看,几何教材中学生的数学沟通能力处于非常低的类别。这可以从学生答案的重述结果和学生分数的转换结果中看出,其连续百分比分别为45.58%和50%,特别是在阅读指标与理解数学表示的问题中。

Analysis of the Mathematics Learning Motivation of Class XI IPA Students during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Motivation is an element that is owned by every individual, especially in the learning process, because motivation acts as a driving force for an activity that has a purpose. The outbreak of corona virus 19 caused the teaching and learning process to be carried out remotely, causing the learning process to be uncontrolled by the teacher. This study aims to analyze students' motivation to learn mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in one of the private high schools in East Jakarta, Pasar Rebo District. The data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire sheet consisting of 26 statements and interviews which consisted of 11 questions involving the math teacher as the resource. The questionnaire analysis technique was analyzed using descriptive statistics, while the interview sheets were analyzed qualitatively. The research sample was 43 students of class XI IPA. The results of the research and interviews showed that the students' motivation to learn mathematics in class XI IPA was 2.98 with a good category. The conclusion of this study is that students of class XI IPA have good motivation in learning mathematics during the Covid-19 epidemic.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh guru yang harus tetap membantu siswauntuk mengembangkan  kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa walaupun di era pandemi COVID-19. Digunakan pembelajaran online Inquiry dan PBL  dengan aplikasi Zoom Cloud Meeting, sebab berdasarkan beberapa penelitian sebelumnya, pembelajaran Inquiry an PBL dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP pada pembelajaran online Inquiry dan PBL ditinjau dari kemampuan awal siswa, serta melihat interaksi antara pembelajaran online Inquiry dan PBL, dan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experimental nonequivalent control group design,dilakukan di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Kota Jambi dengan menggunakan 3 kelas, yakni 2 kelas eksperimen dan 1 kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan metode simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian diuji dengan one way dan two way ANOVA, menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa berkemampuan awal tinggi, sedang dan rendah setelah diajarkan dengan pembelajaran Inquiry dan PBL, namun tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran online Inquiry dan PBL dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui karakteristik kemampuan literasi matematika peserta didik kelas IX berdasarkan gaya belajar menurut David Kolb. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deksriptif analitis dengan subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas IX A SMP 4 Pemalang tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Hasil riset menyatakan bahwa Subjek Diverger Tinggi, Sedang dan Bawah mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan literasi matematika level 2, 3 dan 5. Subjek Assimilator Atas mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan literasi matematika level 2, 3, 4, 5 dan 6.  Assimilator Tengah tuntas pada level 2, 3, 5 dan 6. Subjek Assimilator Bawah hanya tuntas pada level 2, 3, dan 5. Subjek Converger Atas mampu menyelesaikan literasi matematika level 2, 3, 4, 5, dan 6. Subjek Converger Tengah tuntas pada level 2, 5 dan 6 kemudian kurang mampu pada level 3. Converger Bawah tuntas pada level 2 dan 3 kemudiann kurang mampu pada level 4. Subjek Accomodator Atas mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan literasi matematika level 3, 4, 5, dan 6 kemudian kurang mampu pada level 2. Accomodator Tengah tuntas pada level 2 dan 3. sedangkan Accomodator Bawah hanya mampu menyelesaikan soal level 2 dan kurang mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan literasi matematika level 3.

The purpose of this study was to describe the critical thinking skills of class X high school students in solving story problems in terms of gender and math abilities. This research was conducted in the even semester of 2020/2021. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study consisted of 3 male students and 3 female students with different mathematical abilities selected based on test results and consultation with subject teachers. The used Instruments in this study were critical thinking skills tests and interviews. The results of this research are (1) male students and high mathematical abilities meet aspects of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, inference, aspects and self regulation well. Meanwhile, female students with high mathematical abilities are able to complete aspects of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference well; (2) Male students and their mathematical abilities are meeting the aspects of interpretation, analysis, and inference well. Meanwhile, female students and moderate math abilities were able to complete interpretation, analysis, inference, and explanation well; and (3) male students with low math ability are able to solve aspects of interpretation well. Meanwhile, female students with low math abilities were able to complete aspects of interpretation and analysis well. For further researchers, it is necessary to research at a higher level with more research subjects or on other variables.

Abstrak Matematika memiliki banyak nilai di dalamnya, namun dalam pembelajaran capaian yang diinginkan adalah penguasaan konsep materi bersifat teoritis yang belum menyentuh sisi kehidupan peserta didik. Media dan sarana belajar perlu mempertimbangkan lingkungan peserta didik serta kearifan lokal yang dapat mewarnai pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul matematika dalam kerangka kajian budaya Jambi yang bermuatan budaya Jambi dan  nilai karakter dalam Matematika atau sebaliknya. Untuk jangka panjang, budaya jambi dapat dilestarikan dan dikembangkan melalui dunia pendidikan. Pengambilan data pada penelitian di bidang pendidikan matematika ini menggunakan  teknik data validasi ahli, observasi dan wawancara. Masing-masing teknik digunakan  sebagai triangulasi data yang dihasilkan dari subjek budayawan dan guru matematika serta pembelajaran di sekolah. Studi referensi digunakan menentukan data tentang nilai-nilai yang telah terjadi pada waktu lampau hingga kini. Observasi digunakan untuk menentukan data dari produk budaya di Jambi. Wawancara digunakan untuk memastikan data yang telah diperoleh dari dua teknik sebelumnya. Analisis data dilakukan untuk menentukan keterkaitan antara nilai-nilai dalam matematika dan nilai-nilai karakter dalam budaya Jambi atau sebaliknya. Hasil pengembangan berupa modul yang praktis dan dapat digunakan pada subjek autis. Disamping itu, modul juga memberikan efek yang positif pada motivasi belajar peserta didik karena muatan budaya yang digunakan konten yang menarik untuk dipelajari. The desired achievement is the availability of modules that contain Jambi culture and character values ​​in Mathematics or vice versa. Furthermore, for the long term, Jambi culture can be preserved and developed through the world of education. Retrieval of data in research in the field of mathematics education uses data techniques expert validation, observation and interviews. Each technique is used as a triangulation of data generated from the subject of culture and the teacher of mathematics and learning in school.
