Problems that are often experienced by PLHIV are health, social, and economic problems. In addition, in everyday life, PLHIV experience problems in caring for themselves, meeting their social, economic, and psychological needs. PLHIV in accessing work are often hampered because of the stigma and discrimination they get and because of health factors that are easily exhausted. This research aims to find out the obstacles of PLHIV in accessing work. Systematic reviews were identified in four electronic databases published from 2016 to 2021. The quality of the reviewed studies was checked using the Critical Assessment Skills Program. The data were extracted by researchers and analyzed using thematic analysis. This review includes twelve eligible studies. The review found that stigma, support, environment and empowerment were the solutions and obstacles for PLHIV in accessing work. By providing support, there is no stigma, a good environment and empowering PLHIV can improve the quality of life and meet the primary needs of PLHIV. Barriers to accessing work experienced by PLHIV can be controlled through environmental empowerment by forming a support group.

The reason for conducting research is based on several problems in the form of teaching activities whose center is still on the teacher (teacher centered), on the other hand the students' learning outcomes are still low and the teaching process has not been able to fully improve student outcomes in their learning. The aim of the research is to find out the effect of Couple Card media on Elementary School Students’ Science Learning Outcomes in Class IV MIN 8 Medan City. The research method used was in the form of an experiment through a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent control group, which acted as research subjects, consisting of 40 students of class IV. In analyzing the data, the researcher conducted a normality test accompanied by the Wilcoxon test due to not normally data distribution. Based on the Wilcoxon signed rank results, it can be seen that Asymp.Sig.(2-tailed) has a value of 0.001. Because the value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) it is understood that there are differences in learning outcomes with these differences being significant both in the pretest and post-test when learning is not carried out using couple card media. Through the use of media in the form of couple cards it is known that there is an influence on the learning outcomes passed by students so that it was concluded that the media in the form of couple cards provided an increase in student results in their learning.

This study analyzes the application of Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) in fiber optic networks which aims to find the wavelength, WDM optical spectrum and modes, as well as the CPR estimated phase and modes. In this study WDM allows the simultaneous transmission of different data streams through a single optical fiber, using different wavelengths. This research was conducted using the python OptiCommPy module. This module is used to perform modeling of complex optical fiber transmission systems by considering the various parameters and disturbances involved in optical transmission. The results obtained from this study are that WDM networks can use full or limited wavelength conversion, depending on the wavelength conversion capability of each network node. Whereas multifiber networks use fiber pools between network nodes, and multifiber WDM networks can be implemented without or with full wavelength conversion. This research can be a guide for designing coherent electromagnetic waves in WDM transmissions using the OptiCommPy python module.

The PjBL model provides opportunities for individuals to work freely, which fosters genuine individual creativity and the ability to think creatively using media such as GeoGebra. GeoGebra media is able to visualize in a realistic manner, allowing individuals to understand it effectively. This study aims to determine the effect of the GeoGebra-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the creative thinking skills of junior high school students. This is quantitative research using a quasi-experimental approach with a posttest-only control design. The sample of this study are 70 seventh-grade students, particularly 35 students for the ability to think creatively in the GeoGebra-based PjBL model and 35 for the Non-GeoGebra-based PjBL model. The instrument employed consisted of a 5-question essay test on the ability to think creatively, with earlier phases of the validation of expert and from the eighth-grade students in various schools. The results of data analysis using the Mann Whitey Non-Parametric test were obtained at 0.118 (P Value > 0.05 significant level). According to the findings of the analysis, the GeoGebra-based PjBL model does not significantly convert the creative thinking abilities of the students, despite it gives an impact of the influence of junior high school students' abilities.

The issue of low activity and poor learning outcomes in mathematics among high school students is still prevalent. This research aims to enhance the activity and learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at MA Darul Mahmudien NW Montonggamang by implementing the Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model, specifically in the topic of linear equations and inequalities with a single variable absolute value. A classroom action research was conducted over 3 cycles, involving 26 students as research subjects. Student learning outcome data was collected through evaluation tests, while student and teacher activities were recorded using observation sheets. Descriptive analysis was applied, including the calculation of learning mastery equations and student mathematics learning outcomes. The research findings indicate a progressive increase in student activity scores across the 3 cycles. In Cycle I, the average student activity score was 12.65, categorized as moderate; in Cycle II, it rose to 16.25, categorized as high; and in Cycle III, the score reached 19.33, indicating a very high level of activity. The improvement in learning mastery was evident within each cycle. The average student scores were as follows: Cycle I - 57.8 with a learning mastery rate of 68.97%, Cycle II - 64.60 with a learning mastery rate of 81.82%, and Cycle III - 74.17 with a learning mastery rate of 86.96%. Based on these research outcomes, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model effectively enhances both the activity and mathematics learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at MA Darul Mahmudien NW Montonggamang in the subject of linear equations and inequalities with a single variable absolute value.

Descriptive analysis was applied, including the calculation of learning mastery equations and student mathematics learning outcomes. The research findings indicate a progressive increase in student activity scores across the 3 cycles. In Cycle I, the average student activity score was 12.65, categorized as moderate; in Cycle II, it rose to 16.25, categorized as high; and in Cycle III, the score reached 19.33, indicating a very high level of activity. The improvement in learning mastery was evident within each cycle. The average student scores were as follows: Cycle I - 57.8 with a learning mastery rate of 68.97%, Cycle II - 64.60 with a learning mastery rate of 81.82%, and Cycle III - 74.17 with a learning mastery rate of 86.96%. Based on these research outcomes, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model effectively enhances both the activity and mathematics learning outcomes of 10th-grade students at MA Darul Mahmudien NW Montonggamang in the subject of linear equations and inequalities with a single variable absolute value.","PeriodicalId":33562,"journal":{"name":"Prisma Sains Jurnal Pengkajian Ilmu dan Pembelajaran Matematika dan IPA IKIP Mataram","volume":" ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"43898779","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
This study aims to describe the implementation of discovery learning, the responses of students which are supported by the activities carried out by students, as well as the learning outcomes of students through the implementation of discovery learning models on the mole concept material. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out for two cycles. The research subjects were 32 students in class X-3 at SMA Negeri 13 Surabaya for the 2022/2023 academic year. The data generated in this study are summarized as follows: (1) The implementation of the learning syntax of the discovery learning model in cycle 1 and cycle 2 obtained a percentage of implementation of 90.97% and 95.37% with excellent criteria. (2) The application of the discovery learning model received a positive response with a percentage of 81.25-100 so it was declared excellent and supported by a greater percentage of relevant student activities than irrelevant activities. Student activity observed in each phase of learning activities using the discovery learning model shows that the percentage of relevant activities from cycle 1 and cycle 2 gets percentages of 94.41% and 96.71%. While activities that are not relevant are 5.59% in cycle 1 and 3.29% in cycle 2. (3) In cycle 1, the learning outcomes of students who scored ≥ 75 were declared complete with a classical completeness of 78.12% and a class average score of 85.34. In cycle 2, the learning outcomes of students who scored ≥ 75 were declared complete with classical completeness of 100% and the class average score was 96.90. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that learning outcomes and student activity improved through the implementation of the discovery learning model.
