Fettâhî’nin Hosn u Dil (Hüsn ü Dil)’i İle Fuzûlî’nin Sıhhat ve Maraz’ının Mukayesesi

The allegorical expression of seyr ü sulûk in Islamic literature first appeared in Arabic texts and was transmitted to Turkish literature via Persian. Ibn Sinâ wrote the first example of this genre, his Salaman u Absâl written in Arabic, and other writers in the genre followed him. In Persian literature, Suhreverdî's Munisü'l-uşşâk and Attâr's Mantıku't-tayr are the first examples. Although Fattâhî, an important figure of 15 th century Persian literature, was not one of the first representatives of this genre, he was the first to write an allegorical mathnawi (the name Husn u Dil ) by personifying ideas such as love, beauty, heart, etc. Although the subject of the work is superficially a love story between Dil ( Heart ), the son of the Maghreb ruler Akl ( Reason ), and Husn ( Beauty ), the daughter of the Mashrik ruler, Ishk ( Love ), its theme is actually an inner journey and a quest. Each place traversed in this inner journey is a part of the body and each is designed as a step on seyr ü sulûk. Husn u Dil has gained a great reputation in both Eastern and Western literature, and has been translated into various other languages, as well as inspiring the publication of many other works of literature. The 16th century Turkish poets were particularly influenced by the work, and those such as Lâmiî, Ahî, Wâlî, Muhyî, and Sıdkî translated the work into Turkish both as poetry and prose. Subsequently, W. Price and A. Browne translated the work into English, and R. Dvorak into German. It has been claimed that Fuzulî's work, Sıhhat ve Maraz , also contains traces of the allegorical fiction of H usn u Dil . In this article, we will examine that the influence of Husn u Dil on Sıhhat ve Maraz , particularly overlapping and contrasting points of both works in terms of place, person, and storyline. ABSTRACT It is well known that sufis, produced various works by equating the adventure of a human attaining truth with their ontological understanding. Underlying these works is an understanding of vahdet-i vücûd (unity of existence), according to which existence is one and what really exists is only the existence of God. A person wishing to understand the truth of this absolute existence must be abstracted from his human existence through the experience of seyr ü sulûk (special training of a religious order). Thus, it was deemed inappropriate for those with such experience to simply transcribe their inner experience directly in writing, and an allegorical style of expression was preferred.

Mehmed Zihni Efendi’nin Eserlerinde Arapça Sözlükleri Kullanma Usulü

Mehmed Zihni Efendi (d. 1913) was a distinguished Arabic language education scholar in the late Ottoman Empire. This article focuses on his use of Arabic dictionaries in his scholarly studies. A competent and meticulous scholar, he utilized dictionaries for varied reasons and approached them critically. He used 26 dictionaries, predominantly bilingual Arabic-Turkish and Arabic. This study attends to Mehmed Zihni Efendi’s al-Muntakhab, al-Muqtadab, and al-Qawl al-Jayyid, works related to Arabic language and literature. It also addresses his marginal notes on the dictionaries in his private library. The information he conveyed in his dictionaries always included critique, comparison, or analysis. He approached the errors in printed works with caution, expressed his evaluation of them, and occasionally preferred to use other editions and copies of texts in the related domain. Mehmed Zihni Efendi contemplated the vocalization of Arabic words to prevent misunderstanding and to correct misuse, comparing his vocalization with the usage of the words in other grammatical and literary works. In addition to instantiating, he inserted new definitions, elucidated the origins, noted changes in meanings, indicated misuse, and explained the morphological features of the words. He also offered historical and cultural information on Arab society and clarified the grammatical rules of the Arabic language in his insertions.

Emirati Poetic Movements 阿联酋诗歌运动

Emirati poetry is considered the fruit of an Arabic environment that was drawn to formal Arabic poetry and colloquial poetry (or “folk poetry” as defined by critics). That was what was common within the Emirati people. The poets had an innate ability to express the thoughts of a person who lived and integrated with the land and peoples’ homes as found in the original Arabic poetry. The beginning of Emirates poetry was around the 1920s. During that time, several pioneer poets shined, including Mubarak Al Aqili, Salem Al Owais, Ahmed Al Mannai, Mubarak Al Nakhi, Muhammad Nour Saif, Ahmed Bin Salem, Khalfan Bin Musbah, and others, whose names survive, although their poetry did not. After the original poets, another group that came to be known as veterans. They followed the early pioneers, met them, and lived as they did. However, their influence and popularity sustained for longer. They witnessed the many political and sociological phases that the country went through. These veterans include Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais, and Hamad Bu shehab. They paved the way for a classical subordinate traditional phase, with its distinctive artistic features and characteristics. It included traditional column poetry with its unique artistic features that mixed traditional and modern culture through Discussing a nation’s literature and art is equivalent to discussing the extent of the intellectual, cultural, and social human presence of these nations. Poetry is considered nothing but finds its most important model in Bedouin souls who live in the Arabian Peninsula. It is their widest and toughest outlet. XV. asrin onemli ilim adamlarindan biri kabul edilen Ibnu’l-Cezeri (o. 833/1429) kiraat alaninda temayuz etmekle beraber hadis, fikih ve Arap dili gibi pek cok alanda kendini yetistiren ve kazanimlarini eserlerine yansitan cok yonlu bir âlimdir. Kiraat alaninda otorite sayilan Ibnu’l-Cezeri’nin bu alanda yetkin olmasinin en temel sebeplerinden biri hic kuskusuz Arap dili ve edebiyatina olan vukufiyetidir. Dolayisiyla kiraat ilmi ile Arap dili arasinda zorunlu bir iliski soz konusudur. Ibnu’l-Cezeri’ye ait kiraat, hadis, siyer, tarih ve tabakâta dair 100’e yakin eser ve risalelerin birkacinin dogrudan Arap dili ve edebiyatiyla ilgili olmasi bu zorunlu iliskinin dogal bir sonucu olarak gorulebilir. Bu calismada, Ibnu’l-Cezeri’nin dilciligi kiraat-nahiv iliskisine dair kisa bir giristen sonra oncelikle Ibnu’l-Cezeri’ye nispet edilen Arap dili ve edebiyatina dair eserlerin durumu degerlendirilecek, akabinde Kâsifu’l-hasâsa an elfâzi’l-Hulâsa isimli Elfiye serhinin Ibnu’l-Cezeri’ye nispeti tetkik edilerek ele alinacaktir. Ancak bu calismaya konu olan Cincede, yazim sirasinda sozcukler arasinda bosluk yoktur. Cince es bicimli ve cok anlamli sembolik dil ogeleri ile alfabetik dillerden bircok acidan ayrilmaktadir. Tanzimat Döneminde Açılan Yeni Okullarda Arapça Öğretiminde Kullanılan Ders Kitaplarının Yöntem Açısından İncelenmesi

Osmanli Devleti’nde egitim alaninda, Tanzimat donemine gelinceye kadar uc onemli ogretim kurumu bulunmaktaydi. Ilkogretim basamagi olarak sibyan mektepleri, orta ve yuksek ogretim kurumunu olusturan medreseler ile Devlet’in yonetim kadrolarini yetistirmek amaciyla kurulan ozel okul niteligindeki Enderun Mektebi’dir. Bu okullarinda Arapca ogretim yontemi olarak; takrir, ezber, kavrama, imlâ, tekrar, soru-cevap, muzâkere ve munâzara yontemleri kullanilmaktaydi. Tanzimat Donemi’nde baslatilan yenilesme hareketi kapsamda egitim alanindaki en onemli hamle okullasmadir. Teskilatlanmaya onem verilerek bircok yeni okul acilmistir. Bu okullarda, “Usul-i Cedid (yeni usul)” egitimin geregi olarak, okul mufredatinda yer alan derslerin belirlenen saat sayisina uygun haftalik programlari yapilmis ve yeni ogretim yontemi uygulanmistir. Yeni Arapca ders kitaplari yazilarak okullarda uygulanmaya baslanmistir. Tanzimat Donemi’nde Arapca sarf-nahiv kitaplari hazirlarken dort metot izlenmistir: 1- Klasik Arapca Ogretim Kitaplarini Yeniden Duzenleme Yontemi: Medreselerde Arapca ogretiminde kullanilan klasik eserlerin ogretimini kolaylastirmak amaciyla “yeni yonteme” uygun olarak hazirlanan kitaplardir. 2- Avrupa’da Ortaya Cikan Dil Ogretim Yontemlerini Arapcaya Uyarlama Yontemi: Avrupa’da ortaya cikan dil ogretim yontemleri prensipleri Arapca ogretimi kitaplarina uyarlanmistir. 3- Muhtelit (Eclectic) Yontem: Avrupa’da ortaya cikan yeni yontemlerle birlikte hem klasik ders kitaplari hem de Tanzimat Doneminde hazirlanmis diger eserler incelenmis, bilgiler harmanlanarak “muhtelit” usulde kitaplar hazirlanmistir. 4- Tanzimat Donemi Dilcileri Tarafindan Gelistirilen Yeni Yontemler: Turk dilcilerinin kendilerine has Arapca ogretimine dair tecrube ve dusuncelerinin bir sonucu olarak “Arap Dilini kolay ogretme” prensibini on planda tutarak hazirladiklari ozgun eserlerdir. Tanzimat Donemi’nde Arapca egitimde yeni metot arayislari, alimler tarafindan hazirlanan ogretim kitaplarina yansimis ve bircok kitap telif edilmistir. Arapcanin ogretiminde ozgun yontemler gelistirilmistir. Bu makalede; Arapca ogretmek uzere hazirlanan bazi eserler incelenerek metot bakimindan analizleri yapilacaktir.

Dini naslarin delâlet ettigi manalari gosteren yegâne arac olmasi, lafzin muhtelif ilim dallari tarafindan farkli tasniflere tabi tutulmak suretiyle titizlikle inceleme konusu yapilmasi sonucunu dogurmustur. Bu sebeple lafizlar, farkli disiplinlerde cesitli acilardan ele alinmistir. Ornek olarak lafizlari lugat ilmi, ifade ettigi lugavi anlamlarin tespiti bakimindan; sarf ilmi muhtelif morfolojik hususiyetleri ve bunun manalarda vucuda getirdigi zenginlikler acisindan; nahiv ilmi, anlamli bir cumle icerisindeki konumlari acisindan; meâni, beyân ve bedi olarak tasnif edilen belagat ilmi ifade ettigi edebi deger ve sanatlar bakimindan; ve son olarak vaz' ilmi lafizlarin manaya delâlet edecek surette tayin edilmesi ve lafiz-anlam iliskisi bakimindan incelemistir. Fikih usulu ise lafizlari dini naslarin manaya delâletlerini tespit baglaminda ozel olarak inceleme konusu yapmistir. Dini nasslardan hukum ve bilgileri elde edip hayata tatbik etmek dilsel konulara dayandigi icin usul âlimleri dil meselelerine cok fazla zihin yormuslardir. Zira Islam dusunce gelenegi bunyesinde dilbilime dair incelemelerin en bereketli oldugu alanlarin belâgat, mantik, vaz‘ ve fikih usulu ilmi oldugu gorulur. Harf-i ta’rif, zikredilen alanlarda ve ozellikle bu alanlarin umum-husus’a iliskin konularinda etkin bir rol oynamistir. Vâsînî el-A‘rac ve Memleketu‘l-Ferâşe Adlı Romanına Genel Bir Bakış

Bu calismada, Cezayir'in onemli yazarlarindan Vâsini el-A‘rac’in Memleketu’l- Ferâse adli romaninin, gerek icerdigi materyal unsurlar, gerekse icerisinde kullanilan teknik unsurlar bakimindan incelenmesi amaclanmistir. Bu amac dogrultusunda, eserin ihtiva ettigi anlatici, bakis acisi, kisiler, zaman, mekân gibi unsurlar tahlil edilmistir. Bunun yani sira, yazarin kullanmis oldugu anlatim teknikleri de incelenmistir. Bu romanin teknik acidan incelenmesine baslamadan once, 1954 yilinda Tilimsan'da dogmus olan Cezayirli yazar el-A‘rac’in hayati, edebi yonu ve eserleri hakkinda bilgiler verilmistir. Bu bilgiler neticesinde, okuyucunun zihninde yazara ait bir portre cizilebilmesi hedeflenmistir. Eserin tahlili asamasinda, el-A‘rac’in yasadigi donemin edebi, siyasi kosullari incelenmis ve bu kosullarin, yazar ve bu eseri uzerinde ne gibi etkileri olabilecegine dair cikarimlar yapilmaya gayret edilmistir. Hem Arapca hem de Fransizca eserler kaleme almis olan yazar, Memleketu’l- Ferâse'yi 2013 yilinda yayinlamis ve bu eserinde Kara On Yil olarak adlandirilan Cezayir ic savasi sonrasi donemi anlatmistir. Bunun yani sira, yazarin kullanmis oldugu anlatim teknikleri de incelenmistir. Bu romanin teknik acidan incelenmesine baslamadan once, 1954 yilinda Tilimsan'da dogmus olan Cezayirli yazar el-A‘rac’in hayati, edebi yonu ve eserleri hakkinda bilgiler verilmistir. Bu bilgiler neticesinde, okuyucunun zihninde yazara ait bir portre cizilebilmesi hedeflenmistir. Eserin tahlili asamasinda, el-A‘rac’in yasadigi donemin edebi, siyasi kosullari incelenmis ve bu kosullarin, yazar ve bu eseri uzerinde ne gibi etkileri olabilecegine dair cikarimlar yapilmaya gayret edilmistir. Hem Arapca hem de Fransizca eserler kaleme almis olan yazar, Memleketu’l- Ferâse'yi 2013 yilinda yayinlamis ve bu eserinde Kara On Yil olarak adlandirilan Cezayir ic savasi sonrasi donemi anlatmistir. Cezayir’in yakin donemine isik tutmasi, savasin birey ve toplum psikolojsi uzerindeki etkilerini gozler onune sermesi hasebiyle, bu eser, modern Arap edebiyatinda muhim bir yere sahiptir. Bu nedenle, Memleketu’l-Ferâse'nin tahlilinin, modern Cezayir toplumuna dair nesnel bir bakis acisi olusturulmasina katki saglayacagi temenni edilmistir. Hikâyeyi okuyucu nazarinda daha sahih kilmayi ve anlatici ile okuyucu arasinda daha guclu bir bag kurabilmeyi hedefleyen El-A‘rac, romaninda birinci sahis (Ben) anlatici turunu tercih etmis ve Fasih Arapca kullanmistir. Okçuzâde ve en-Nazmu’l-Mübîn fi’l-âyâti’l-erba‘în Adlı Türkçe Kırk Ayet Tefsiri

Turkce Kur’ân tercume ve tefsirleri meselesi farkli uzmanlik alanlarindan arastirmacilarca bugune kadar cesitli yonleriyle ele alinmissa da tarihi malzemenin tamami henuz ilmi incelemelerle ortaya cikarilmamis oldugundan yeterli ve beklenen olcude kapsamli bir yaklasimda bulunabilmek icin bir muddet daha beklemek gerekecektir. XVI. asrin son ceyreginde dunyaya gelen ve XVII. asrin ilk yarisinda vefat eden Okcuzâde Mehmed Şâhi munsilik basta olmak uzere Osmanli Devleti’nin cesitli burokratik kademelerinde vazife almis birisidir. Insâ kudreti klasik ve modern kaynaklarda ovgu dolu ifadelerle anilan Okcuzâde ilmi cephesinin meyvesi olarak kirk ayet turunde, aslinda klasik edebiyatimizda orneklerine cok rastlanmayan bir eser telif etmistir. Tam adi en-Nazmu’l-Mubin fi’l-âyâti’l-erba‘in olan bu eser uzerine yaptigimiz doktora teziyle bugune kadar bu metne dair verilen ve genel olarak birbirini tekrarlayan yari dogru yari hatali bilgilerin otesine gecilmis oldu hem de ilk cumlede ifade edilen soz konusu eksik tarihi malzemenin bir tanesinin daha gun yuzune cikmasi saglandi. Boylece bir yandan en-Nazmu’l-Mubin’in mahiyeti ortaya konulurken bir taraftan da edebiirfâni tefsir turune dahil edilebilecek olan bu manzum-mensur karisik kirk ayet tercume ve tefsirinin Osmanli asri Turkce tercume-tefsir hareketinin neresinde durduguna dair bir kanaatin gelismesine de olanak saglamasi amaclandi. en- Nazmu’l-Mubin fi’l-âyâti’l-erba‘in edebi-irfâni bir kirk ayet tefsiridir. Okcuzâde’nin Kur’ân’dan secip tefsir ettigi ayetler su surelerden alinmistir: Bakara (84-85, 185 ve 32), Hud (17, 60 ve 116), Nisâ (171 ve 100), Kasas (83 ve 88), Şuarâ (82, 43 ve 90), Yusuf (91, 92 ve 50), Enbiyâ (88 ve 18), Kehf (109 ve 82), Talak (1 ve 3), Zâriyât (16 ve 17), Arâf (148 ve 183), Necm (39 ve 42), Hadid (13), Mulk (29), Âli Imrân (92), Fecr (9), Hac (27) Meryem (54), Tevbe (40), Ahzâb (53), Zuhruf (39), Yunus (30), Mâide (114) ve Şurâ (23).
