B a c k g r o u n d . Health control and management are important processes, the relevance of which has increased after the COVID-19 pandemic. Health control is equally important for the population of Ukraine today. Various assessment methodologies are used to measure health control, and the MHLC is one of the most commonly used, and also showed high reliability in several countries worldwide. Considering the importance of the issue and constant threat to the health of population, the necessity of having this scale available in Ukrainian is clear. Correspondingly, the present study aimed to adapt the MHLC (Multidimensional Health Locus of Control) scale to the Ukrainian context and to test the psychometric properties of the scale for its suitability for use among the Ukrainian-speaking population. M e t h o d s . The properties of the MHLC scale were evaluated on a sample of 392 respondents from Ukraine. The psychometric properties were assessed using the following statistical tests: reliability and internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha), factor analysis (exploratory and confirmatory), and correlation analysis. R e s u l t s . Cronbach's alpha for the MHLC scale was 0,72. EFA analysis revealed the presence of a three-factor model structure. The model's goodness-of-fit indicators are as follows: χ2 = 389, p < 0,001; CFI = 0,86; TLI = 0,84), SRMR = 0,06, AIC = 22982, BIC = 23209. The main factors of the model are: influential others, internal, and randomness. The correlation analysis revealed a strong relationship between the MHLC scale items and the 5C scale items, which confirms convergent and discriminant validity. C o n c l u s i o n s . The Ukrainian version of the MHLC scale has positive psychometric characteristics and can be used in studies focused on the Ukrainian-speaking context and sample. Validation procedure showed the ability of Ukrainian scale to match the initial five factors suggested by the authors of the scale.

Obesity is a complex disease involving an excessive amount of body fat. Obesity is generally caused by eating too much and physical activity too little. High-calorie diet-induced obesity occurs in both sexes, but more pronounced changes in blood parameters associated with this disease are more common in men. However, the gender-specific mechanisms of obesity development are little known. Therefore, the purpose of our study was to determine the sex-specific response to the content of the middle mass molecules and oligopeptides in the serum of rats under conditions of highcalorie diet consumption and after administration of a bionanocomposite based on fenugreek and orlistat. To do this, we used a modified Gabrielian method and mathematical processing and statistical analysis of the results.

The pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has made a serious public health threat worldwide. It has caused many complications and deaths, so millions of people are at risk in more and more countries. A special group consists of patients with chronic diseases, particularly osteoarthritis. It is known that the development of osteoarthritis is associated with oxidative stress and excessive production of free radicals. Proteins are highly sensitive to free radical oxidation, so their oxidation level reflects the oxidant-antioxidant balance in the body. The aim of the work was to determine the concentration of products of oxidative modification of proteins and sulfhydryl groups in the synovial fluid of patients with osteoarthritis after SARS-CoV2 infection. All study participants were divided into two groups. The first group (n=22) is patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joints II-III degree. The second group (n=14) is patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joints II-III degree, who suffered a mild and moderate form of COVID-19 6-9 months ago. In the conducted studies, the products of protein oxidation in the synovial fluid of patients of all experimental groups were evaluated. The concentration of products of oxidative modification of proteins was determined by the level of carbonyl derivatives, which are detected in the reaction with 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. The concentration of total, protein-bound and non-protein sulfhydryl (SH) groups was measured by the Ellman method. Processing of research results was carried out using generally accepted methods of variational statistics. It was established that in the synovial fluid of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee joints who contracted COVID-19, the concentration of products of oxidative modification of proteins increased. Under the same experimental conditions, the concentration of sulfhydryl groups decreased. The detected changes indicate a violation of the oxidant-antioxidant balance in the synovial fluid of patients with osteoarthritis after SARS-CoV-2 infection. This indicates the prevalence of free radical processes and the development of oxidative stress directly in the joint. Our results indicate that patients with osteoarthritis may develop more severe joint damage after infection with COVID-19.

The issue of administrative and legal support of the legal regime of martial law was considered. Scientific views on such legal categories as "legal provision" and "administrative-legal provision" in various spheres of social relations have been studied. The concept of "administrative and legal support of the legal regime of martial law" is considered. The key features of the administrative and legal support of the legal regime of martial law are established, namely: the support of the specified legal regime is carried out by special entities whose powers are defined by legislation; regulated by the norms of administrative law; implemented using special tools (mechanisms, measures); the activity of public administration subjects consists in the adoption of laws, subordinate regulatory legal acts and their implementation. Based on the results of the research, the author's definition of the concept of administrative and legal support of the legal regime of martial law is proposed as the activity of authorized subjects of public power in relation to the legal regulation of social relations, legal support for the implementation of the measures of the legal regime of martial law, regulated by the norms of administrative law, with the aim of protecting human rights and freedoms. defense of the state in case of armed aggression or threat of attack, danger to the state independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. It has been established that the essence of the administrative and legal provision of the legal regime of martial law is the provision of conditions for achieving the goals of its introduction, as well as the provision of regulation, implementation, protection and protection of social relations in the conditions of martial law.

The article is devoted to the problems of axiological characterization of a media event as a part of the media picture of the world, which arises in the process of intercultural communication. The axiological characteristics are presented as a necessary constituent element of a media event, which participates in its formation. The structure of evaluation of the media event "Russian-Ukrainian war 2022-2023" in French television discourse is considered, the types of evaluation based on its relationship to the object of the evaluation characteristics and the types of evaluation based on the relationship to the subject of evaluation are identified. It was established that the media event "war in Ukraine" as an object of assessment in the audiovisual text of the analytical and informational telecast is significantly more complex in its structure than the real event, as it also includes elements that arise in the media discourse. As a result of the analysis of the types of subjects of the evaluation characteristics of the war in Ukraine as a media event in the French television discourse, it was found that the main subject of evaluation in the analytical and informative audiovisual text is a professional expert, a political scientist, that is, a person who possesses professional objectivity, authority and professional experience, which affects the formation of the evaluation of the event in the media picture of the world of the addressee of television broadcasting. In order to establish the types of assessment based on its relationship to its subject, which are included in the system of axiological characteristics of the Russian-Ukrainian war of 2022-2023, the assessment statements of heads of state, famous politicians, representatives of world organizations from countries whose interests are affected by the war in Ukraine were also considered. It was found that the introduction to the text of the assessment of a media event, the subject of assessment of which is a well-known political or socio-cultural figure, takes place with the help of the constructions of direct and indirect transmission of someone else's speech with an indication of the subject of the speech and the source of information. It is noted that a separate type of evaluation of a media event is represented by evaluation statements of direct participants of real events that have acquired the status of media events. Prospects for further research into the structure and typology of media event evaluation have been determined.

This paper explores the specificities of Theophan Prokopovich's poetic legacy during his time in Kyiv, focusing on its ideological, thematic, and genre foundations. The article outlines the chronological boundaries of Prokopovich's Kyiv period, analyzing their connection to the writer's biography, and for the first time, identifies two distinct stages within this period. The first stage is characterized by the author's staunch defense of Ukrainian values and interests. The second stage reflects the evolution of Prokopovich's poetics towards imperial positions under Peter I. The article analyzes the diverse range of poetic genres used by the author. The paper argues that Prokopovich introduced an innovative direction in his poetry, featuring a simple verse form and a clear, comprehensible artistic style devoid of contradictions. The key aspects of the poetic legacy from the Kyiv period include the exploration of various genres and the fluctuating social perspectives of the author, which significantly influenced his poetics. The first stage encompasses the earliest works on Ukrainian themes, artistic-historical descriptions of Rus-Ukraine as the homeland, the author's interpretations of moral and ethical questions, and depictions of the internal emotions and experiences of the lyrical protagonist. The poetry of the second stage is characterized by the variability of Prokopovich's political views following the defeat of Hetman Ivan Mazepa in the Battle of Poltava in 1709. The poetic works introduce ideas that testify to the author's betrayal of Ukrainian interests and his shift towards pro-Russian positions. Special attention is given to these artistically accomplished yet politically treacherous compositions. The article represents an innovative and objective analysis of the texts, their artistic value, and their ideological positions, shedding light on the phenomenon of Prokopovich's poetic legacy during his Kyiv period. The Kyiv texts are characterized by artistic excellence, combining classicistic and baroque styles, achieving perfection and clarity, simplicity, and formalism, as well as exploring various genre varieties. The author's experimental approach with traditional genres and their modernization in response to the challenges of the Baroque era is also discussed.

The first stage encompasses the earliest works on Ukrainian themes, artistic-historical descriptions of Rus-Ukraine as the homeland, the author's interpretations of moral and ethical questions, and depictions of the internal emotions and experiences of the lyrical protagonist. The poetry of the second stage is characterized by the variability of Prokopovich's political views following the defeat of Hetman Ivan Mazepa in the Battle of Poltava in 1709. The poetic works introduce ideas that testify to the author's betrayal of Ukrainian interests and his shift towards pro-Russian positions. Special attention is given to these artistically accomplished yet politically treacherous compositions. The article represents an innovative and objective analysis of the texts, their artistic value, and their ideological positions, shedding light on the phenomenon of Prokopovich's poetic legacy during his Kyiv period. The Kyiv texts are characterized by artistic excellence, combining classicistic and baroque styles, achieving perfection and clarity, simplicity, and formalism, as well as exploring various genre varieties. The author's experimental approach with traditional genres and their modernization in response to the challenges of the Baroque era is also discussed.","PeriodicalId":33822,"journal":{"name":"Visnik Kiivs''kij nacional''nij universitet imeni Tarasa Sevcenka Istoria","volume":"73 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"86351963","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

LSF is interpreted quite ambiguously within Ukrainian scientific discourse. The term lacks clarity in delineating a single meaning, systematic use and pronounced tendency towards ambiguity within the sectoral (philological-pedagogical and military-pedagogical) conceptual field. Currently, LSF covers completely communicative and functional spectrum related to the military area. However, they primarily mean studies of military translation and Ukrainian military's foreign language training (especially in English). The aim of the present research is to outline the actual concerns and concepts of the linguistic support for forces (LSF) throughout the wartime, to outline the tasks of the LSF in the focus of present events in Ukraine and, in particular, in the educational process of the military in the state of full-scale war. In addition, there is a purpose to focus on those topical questions of the LSF, which have arisen or acquired aggravation with the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war confrontation. It was found that war always has a worldwide global essence. Even though it is concentrated locally in geographical dimension (like in Ukraine). Therefore, in the paradigm of up-to-date war events and their effects, language as an instrument of understanding and cooperating between various participants of war has a wide range of extremely important functions. Especially while speaking about foreign languages, which play an indispensable operating and strategic, additionally also ideological role in war narratives. The works of prominent scientists on the subject of LSF identifies promising directions for the improvement of LSF in Ukraine. They were analyzed in the article. The significance of implementing special computer technics and software into the LSF field was highlighted. This would fasten the process of working out the large layers of information and allows having quick essential communication in a timely manner. Under the conditions of martial law adequate messaging is necessary. Whether in real time or under situations of remote (asynchronous) communicative interaction. In the field of foreign language training of the military as one of the fundamental problem of LSF as a discipline and field of knowledge, it has been observed that the tendencies to train the military in an authentic foreign language environment are maintained. The very format of such acquisition of foreign language competences appears in current literature (scientific, special, in the documentation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, etc.) as the most advantageous for successful language training of military personnel. In addition, learning in reliable foreign language surroundings contributes to compliance with NATO canons.

The article emphasizes the relevance of the formation of health-preserving and health-developing competencies of students during the adaptation cycle of basic secondary school education (5–6 grade students). It is noted that over the last decade the situation in science regarding the problem of health care has changed significantly and the research data have become the object of study of pedagogical science, which significantly influenced the expansion of the spectrum of interpretation of the concept of “health preservation competence”. Since the definition of “health preservation competence” does not have an unambiguous interpretation, various approaches to defining the terms of health-preserving and healthdeveloping competences have been investigated. It has been established that scientists attach different meanings to the concept of “health preservation competence”, which defines it as an ambiguous and broadfaceted meaning and offers different approaches to its formation in students. Attention is focused on the fact that for students of grades 5–6, it is important not only to preserve health, but also to strengthen and further develop it, and therefore, the formation of health-preserving and health-developing competencies in students of this age. The analysis of the scientific and pedagogical literature proved that the category “health development competence” is considered in the scientific literature not as often as the concept of “health preservation competence”. The stages, tasks and directions of the formation of the researched competencies developed by the scientists and the proposed ways of their formation and development through the prism of the implementation of socio-pedagogical activities, the implementation of pedagogical and health-development technologies, through the use of a system of health and physical culture activities and methodical techniques that direct the educational process to formation of students’ health-preserving and health-developing competencies, healthy lifestyle skills and appropriate health culture.
