Menstrual disorders can be a sign of an illness or an abnormal hormonal system. The presence of hormonal abnormalities in a woman's body can be caused due to nutritional status. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and menstrual disorders in tobacco farmers in Ambulu Village. The population in this study were female workers on tobacco farming in Ambulu village, Ambulu Subdistrict, Jember Regency with 39 workers. The number of research samples is taken from the entire population. The dependent variable in this study is nutritional status, and the independent variables are menstrual disorders. Based on research, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between nutritional status and menstrual disorders. as many as 26 people (66.7%). From the assessment of nutritional status, the results of the majority of respondents with abnormal nutritional status, both underweight and overweight, were as many as 20 people (51.2%). From the results of the statistical test, the value of the contingency coefficient is 0.436. It was concluded that the strong relationship between nutritional status and menstrual disorders in tobacco farmers in Ambulu Village, Jember Regency was included in the moderate level.

DAMPAK PAJANAN KEBISINGAN MESIN EXTRUDER TERHADAP GANGGUAN KOMUNIKASI PADA PEKERJA DI PT. X SIDOARJO 出口发动机噪音对PT. X . SIDOARJO工作人员的通信中断的影响

Exposure to extruder machine noise can cause non-auditory effects such as communication disorders. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of extruder machine noise exposure on the non-auditory effects of PT. X Sidoarjo in 2018. This research is an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. The research respondents were 60 people consisting of two groups, namely groups of workers in the extruder unit and office staff groups. The group of workers in the extruder unit is a group that is exposed to high noise while the office staff group is a control group that is exposed to low noise. Sampling is done by simple random sampling method. The independent variables in this study were the level of extruder machine noise exposure and the dependent variable in this study, which were non auditory effects which included communication disorders. Noise in the area of the extruder machine shows a number that exceeds the Threshold Value The limit is 85 dBA. The results of the questionnaire analysis showed that 81.6% of workers felt a communication disruption due to exposure to extruder machines at PT. X Sidoarjo. Efforts can be made to reduce the level of extruder noise exposure by the need for periodic engine maintenance, dampers to reduce the noise level of the extruder machine and work rotation is needed to reduce the impact of extruder machine noise exposure on workers.

ANALISA AKTIVITAS PENGANGKATAN DENGAN METODE RECOMMENDED WEIGHT LIMIT (RWL) 用重载方法分析提升活动(RWL)

Manual material handling if done inappropriately can pose a risk of injury to the body, mainly in the spine, which is usually referred as musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). Based on direct interview with warehouse workers of PT. X, it is known that in the lifting or transfering mineral water activity often causes pain in the waist and spine. This study is intended to analyze the work posture and the load level that is safe for workers to reduce the risk of MSDs, the analysis is carried out with the Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) method. From the calculation gained RWL origin = 15.36kg / 34.07lbs and destination RWL = 18.54kg / 41.12lbs. Then the origin LI value = 0.9 and destination LI = 0.8. From the results of the Lifting Index can be concluded that the risk level of this work is low and there is no problem with the lifting work. The weight of load raised does not exceed the recommended lifting limit, so there are no repairs to the work needed, but the activity must keep to get attention so the LI value can be maintained and the activity does not bear the risk of spinal injury.

The accident that occurred was caused by two factors like unsafe act and unsafe condition. PT PAL is one of the companies that produce ships and provides ship maintenance services which every process have pontential hazard like welding process, grinding process and steel cutting process. Initial survey showed there was several accident like pinched causing minor injuries and some nearmiss to workers in the welding section. This research was conducted in Commercial Ship Division PT. PAL with aim to analyze the influence of individual characteristics and characteristics of work with unsafe act on the Commerce Division of PT. PAL using cross sectional study with total sample of as many as 80 worker. Characteristics of respondent and unsafe action was obtained from interview with workers and observation directly to the field. The result of statistical tests using binary logistic regression showed that characteristics individual and characteristics of work which has an influence on unsafe action are age (p=0,001), knowledge of OHS (p=0,000) and time periode (p=0,008) with R value = 0,690. This means that age, knowledge of OHS and time periode have an effect of 69% on unsafe action on workers in the division of the commercial ship PT. PAL (Indonesia) and 31% are influenced by other factors. Recommendation for workers should avoid unsafe act while working like joking and for the companies should be more routine  to hold socialization related implementation of OSH in the workplace and also increase supervision for workers, especially in the habit of using PPE in accordance with established policies.

Introduction: Jemursari Surabaya Islamic Hospital has a Pharmacy Installation service that requires long prescription service waiting times. This resulted in the emergence of patient dissatisfaction with the quality of services available at the Jemursari Islamic Hospital Pharmacy Installation in Surabaya. In relation to patient satisfaction and the quality of service at the Jemursari Islamic Hospital, there are still patients who are dissatisfied with the services of the Jemursari Islamic Hospital Pharmacy Installation staff. This study aims to analyze the relationship between waiting time and the attitude of the officer with patient satisfaction at the Jemursari Islamic Hospital Pharmacy Installation in Surabaya. Method: this study was an observational analytic study using aapproach cross sectional. The research locations were in Depo 1 Pharmacy Installation, Jemursari Islamic Hospital, Jl Jemursari no. 51-57, Jemur Wonosari, Wonocolo, Surabaya City, East Java. The research sample was 100 respondents using random sampling techniques. The data obtained were then analyzed using thetest chi square. Results: the results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between service waiting time and the attitude of the officers in the service at the Pharmacy Installation with the level of satisfaction felt. Waiting time for services at Depo 1 Pharmacy is not in accordance with the Standard Minimum Procedure that has been determined. Conclusion: the waiting time and attitude of the officers have a significant relationship to patient satisfaction.

KEPATUHAN TENAGA KERJA DALAM MENGGUNAKAN APD 使用APD的劳动顺应性

Workers when at working area must use (Personal Protective Equipment) PPE, even though the company has implemented technical controls and administrative controls. But, use of PPE at work is still not good. The purpose of this study was to analyse the compliance of workers in using PPE in production department of PT X. this study was an descriptive observational study with a cross sectional study design. The total study population was 30 people with total sampling. Data were by means as of questionnaire. The result of the study were the average age and length of work of workers in production department of PT X were µ = 29,47 ± 4,99 years old and µ = 7,9 ± 3,96 years. Workers in production department of PT X 60% use PPE and 40% not use PPE. The factor that influence compliance with PPE use was comfort of PPE and factors that don’t affect compliance with PPE use were availability of PPE, PPE training, and supervision of PPE. It is recommended for the company need to approach individually to the workers and need to implement a reward policy.   Keywords: compliance, PPE, worker, factors

Maternal health services are one of the basic health efforts that must be carried out by the local government. Good maternal health services affect the degree of maternal health. Maternal health degrees are measured by the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). One of the cases is the increasing return of MMR in East Java Province in 2016. The main causes of high MMR in East Java are bleeding and preeclampsia. Local governments try to reduce MMR by optimizing maternal health care efforts in various work areas.                    The purpose of this study is to apply the analysis of cluster complete linkage to describe the distribution of areas of achievement of maternal health care programs in East Java Province in 2016. The data used in the analysis of cluster complete linkage is the scale of data ratios. This type of research is non-reactive using secondary data. The data used in this study is the maternal health service profile data obtained from the program planning and budget sub-section of the East Java Provincial Health Office in 2016.                    The results of cluster analysis research were conducted to produce 2 optimum districts clusters, with the highest statistical pseudo-f value of  92,420. Cluster 1 produced 4 district members, while Cluster 2 produced 34 members.                    The conclusion of this study shows that between cluster 1 and cluster 2 has different characteristics. The naming of each cluster is based on the characteristics of the average value of the achievement of the maternal health care program. Cluster 1 is a group of districts whose program achievement status is below the target, while Cluster 2 is a group of districts whose program achievement status is above the target.

Metabolic syndrome is a complex metabolic disorder that is caused by obesity. Body mass index could be simple indicator and very recommended for assessed nutritional state. This study aim to found correlation between nutritional state using BMI to total metabolic syndrome in Pesantren Al Hidayah Kabupaten Ngawi, East Java. Beside,  this study is expected could give information for medical officer, especially in Kabupaten Ngawi area as a strategy to prevent metabolic disorder and as new knowledge for peoples in Pesantren Al Hidayah area. Study design using analytic descriptive. Study run in Juni-July 2018 with participants came from population in Pesantren area. We get data about abdomen circumference, body weigh and height, blood pressure, and blood glucose. From 72 participants, 3 participants is suspected suffer from metabolic syndrome, while 61 other was not. The results did not show significancy in statistic. However, the others study showed significant result for correlation nutritional state and body mass index.

Career management became a priority for improvement in X Company Employee surveys in 2014. Unfortunately, career planning has not been focused in human resource management. The study aimed to provide recommendations for employee planning and career development planning in the X Company. This descriptive research used cross sectional design. Data was taken through literature study, observation and document review. This study proves the importance of career management in the X Company. Career management is one element in the preparation of talent pool. Through good career management, it will have a positive impact for both the company and the individual itself. X Company is expected to conduct a more in-depth study on the formulation and implementation of career planning and development that will be implemented in the X Company and involves employees, human resource development, and organizations in the formulation and implementation.

Healthcare institutions should take into account the needs of the community for the servicesprovided to be effective. The research aims to find out the needs and needs of the public on eye healthservices in Surabaya. A survey involved 59 respondents (from Wonokromo, Gayungsari, Jemursari,and Darmahusada) in May of 2017. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysisusing descriptive statistical test. The research indicates that respondents need eye health servicesinclude good and professional services (27.10%), friendly human resources (32.20%), completelaboratory (39.00%), information system (44.10%), willingness to use (79.70%), good service system(37.30%), unreliable human resources and cost and distance factors respectively 28.80%, staffcounseling (54.20%), treatment (76, 30%), puskesmas (30.50%), clinics (16.90%), taking medicine(36.00%), Eye Hospital in Undaan (37.00%), close to home (20.00%). The study recommends thatsurvey results can be used as a reference for hospital management in developing eye health servicesin line with community expectations.
