Simulation Study of Lead Removal from Waste Water by using Tea Waste as Biosorbent 茶渣作为生物吸附剂去除废水中铅的模拟研究

Toxic heavy metals such as lead have been discharged into water streams due toindustrialization, particularly from the stationery industry. Even though there areseveral ways to remove heavy metals, running the procedures is quite expensive. As a result, this research will simulate the performance of tea waste as a bio sorbent agent for removing lead ions from wastewater. The Fixed-Bed Adsorption Simulation Tool (FAST) program will create a simulation in this investigation. Furthermore, different manipulation factors such as lead ion initial concentration, contact time, and adsorbent dose were employed to evaluate its influence on the biosorption process. The results are comparable to a previous study on tea waste as a source of biosorption. According to the previous research and case study, the optimal contact duration is 60 minutes, the best metal ion concentration for adsorption is 100 mg/L, and the best adsorbent dose is 2 g. Furthermore, a comparison of the Langmuir isotherm with the Freundlich isotherm reveals that the Langmuir isotherm produces better results. Moreover, when the pseudo-first-order kinetic model is compared to the pseudo-second-order kinetic model, the pseudo-first-order yields superior results.

Repairing Behavior of Termites Odontotermes obesus (Rambur), (B lattodea: Termitidae) in Response to the Damage of Indoor Mudtube 白蚁(白蚁科)对室内泥管损伤的修复行为

The termite Odototermes obesus (Rambur) either tunnel through soil or move inside the ‘mudtube’ usually found on walls or in cracks between boards and walls. The mud tube formation could provide the initial proof of the termite infestation. The study analyses the behavioral changes of termite when the indoor mud tube was damaged. The response of termites was recorded by video camera at certain intervals until the mud tube was repaired and closed.Seasonal effects on repairing of damaged mud tube by termite indicated that during rainy season the time required for repairing an unit area of indoor mud tube was about half of the summer season. Based on change of behavioral patterns due to the damage of mud tube the responses of the termites were divided into 6 different categories which reflected the different division of labors that were distributed among the workers after sudden disturbance. The studies on measuring activity of work found out the time required for different steps of work for repairing the damage.

Analysis of Trending Hi-Tech and Software Industry in Bangladesh 孟加拉国高新技术和软件产业发展趋势分析

Hi-Tech/Software Technology parks are being developed in many countries to create an efficient work environment for knowledge based industrial development. Major aim of these technology parks is to attract foreign companies to set up operations and to transfer the indigenous technological capability for the development of the local industries. The aim of this work is to find out factors that influence technology park development and a suitable strategic framework for successful implementation of Hi-Tech (HTP) and Software Technology Park (STP) in Bangladesh. For this study Analytic Hierarchy Process is applied as a Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Method (MCDM) which is a technology assessment tool. The assessment has been conducted by considering infrastructure, strategic & business support & governance as criteria and basic facility, digital facility, social facility, research & strategic facility, industrial chain & innovation facility, capacity development, policy support, operational modality, and park management as sub criteria. IBM SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) software also used for identifying the key variables.

CO2-Foam Monitoring using Resistivity and Pressure Measurements 利用电阻率和压力测量监测二氧化碳泡沫

This paper focuses on combining resistivity and pressure measurements to determine the effectiveness of foam as a mobility control method. It presents a theoretical framework to describe the expected resistivity changes during CO2-foam displacements. With this objective, we first provide equations to estimate the resistivity for CO2-foam systems and then utilize two distinct foam models to quantify these effects. Using analytical solutions based on the fractional flow theory, we present resistivity and mobility distributions for ideal and non-ideal reservoir displacement scenarios. Additionally, assuming pressure measurements only, we examine the inter-dependency between various foam parameters. Our results suggest that the combination of pressure and resistivity measurements in time-lapse mode could be deployed as an effective monitoring tool in field applications of the (CO2) foam processes. The proposed method is novel as it could be employed to predict under-performing CO2-foam floods and improve oil recovery and CO2 storage.

Coupled Error Dynamic Formulation for Modal Control of a Two Link Manipulator having Two Revolute Joints 具有两个转动关节的两连杆机械臂模态控制的耦合误差动态表达式

In the present work, reformulation of the dynamics of a planar two-link manipulator has been presented in the form of joint errors and their derivatives. The linear second-order differential equations with time-varying coefficients represent the Coupled Error Dynamics of the system. In these equations, the non-linear centrifugal and Coriolis terms are expressed as linear functions of joint error rates and the non-linear gravity terms as a linear function of joint errors with time-varying coefficients. After inclusion of linearized version of these terms, the concept of modal analysis is used in the design of a control system for the robot. The developed control approach is compared with the commonly used computed-torque control approach, as applied for a high-speed direct-drive two-link manipulator with revolute joints. Thus in the proposed approach for controller design, the system non-linearities are taken as part of the system representation itself instead of disturbances as assumed in existing approaches.

Flexible Boundary Multi-Microgrids Power Distribution Systems with Internet of Thing for System Efficiency Enhancement 基于物联网的柔性边界多微电网配电系统提高系统效率

Multi-microgrid power distribution systems are gaining attention in the smart grid era. Distributed energy resources, energy storage, as well as energy sharing and scheduling has a great potential to enhance multi-microgrid systems’ performance. This research develops an algorithm for optimal operation of various distributed energy resources in a flexible boundary multi-microgrid power distribution network, considering internet of things (IoT). The proposed algorithm used in this research can reduce power system operating costs, power, and energy losses and emissions, and ultimately increase the systems’ efficiency. A hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization-Tabu Search algorithm is developed for optimization purposes.

AFIS based Advanced Power Control Scheme for Grid-Connected DFIG-Driven WECS 基于AFIS的并网dfig驱动wcs的先进功率控制方案

In wind energy conversion system, extraction of optimum power and efficient operation are two major challenges. In grid connected mode, a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) control unit is designed to operate at optimum speed to deliver maximum output power in the grid while the voltage, frequency and harmonic regulations need to be fulfilled. Vector control associated with proportional-integral (PI) controllers has been widely applied in wind farms for reliable power regulation of DFIG. As DFIG based wind energy conversion system (WECS) experiences strong nonlinearity and uncertainties originated from the aerodynamics of the wind turbine and magnetic saturation of the generator, different adaptive and nonlinear control schemes have been proposed to resolve the problems associated with fixed-gain PI controllers.

Instability of Ice Mass Balance and Climate Change Induced Sea Level Rise-An Appraisal 冰质量平衡不稳定与气候变化引起的海平面上升——一个评估

It is found from literature on impact of changes in climate and the resultant rise in sea level, that the scenarios, which are presumed for estimating the rise in Sea Level are stranded on a lot of doubts. Projections by different teams of scientists and real time data from IPCC's predictions do not always match and mostly rather differ. Various models so far considered, grounded on mathematical and statistical methods are anticipated to experience unforeseen variation due to the present unpredictable behaviour of the ice sheets. Studies about the contribution from Antarctica itself towards rise in Sea Level predicts abrupt variations in different projections and accordingly the importance of detailed study on Marine Ice Instability has been highlighted in this paper. The phenomenon related to MISI and MICI has been stressed upon to arrive at more correct projections on Sea Level Rise in coming decades and centuries.

The delimitation and delimitation of the water rounds has been an environmental determinant of great importance in the instruments of territorial planning, however there have been no effective criteria when it comes to delimiting and aligning the water rounds, that is why in the present study, The normative review of the delimitation of riparian zones in Latin America and Colombia was carried out, from which it was found that the guidelines issued by the Ministry of the Environment have not been efficient for the delimitation of said areas, therefore it is considered important that the Ministry of the Environment should Reconsider said rule, if it is the case that it is considered that the delimitation of the water sources would be categorized according to the width of the channel, the slope of the land and the strategic ecosystem in which they are found.
