In order to develop the virtual simulation experiment teaching platform for underground mining of metal and nonmetal mines, the connotation of the course knowledge system around the complete process of underground mining was fully excavated firstly. On this basis, the knowledge system framework of the virtual simulation teaching platform was established. Finally, with the goal of improving the function operation and interactivity of the platform system, the function design of the virtual simulation experiment platform was carried out. The platform has been applied well in the daily teaching of mining engineering major in Wuhan University of Science and Technology. This paper can provide reference for the development of virtual simulation experimental platform for similar majors.

In recent years, the number of overseas students in China has been increased. According to statistics of 2019from the Ministry of Education, nearly 400,000 foreign students came to China to study from 202 countries and regions; more and more international students choose to study in China. Since young students are just arriving in China, they can not treat the different culture rationally, in which the sense of novelty, loss and depression. Foreign students cannot deeply understand and solve several problems about different culture between their home country and China in the short term. International students, who are live in China, easy to adopt the self-standard of their own way or the behavior standard of their country of origin to deal with their differences and leading to the potential crisis and uneasiness of the local social order. Therefore, how to strengthen the recognition of Chinese culture by international students in colleges and universities and how to solve the ideological education problems for international students in China are important for research. We think that ideological education plays a key role to cultivate the internal strength of ‘knows China and be friends of China’. In order to build a complete evaluation system of the effectiveness of ideological education for international students in China, this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of overseas students' education in China, and to analyze the specific setting of the index system of the effectiveness of ideological education.

This research aims to identify, investigate, rank, and mitigate delay factors perceived to affect private financed residential building construction project in Phnom Penh city, Cambodia in order to recommend actions of how to deal with such delays. To identify and rank delay factors, a questionnaire survey that matches the research preference was conducted. The first round of data collection showed the delay factors ranking through the Relative Importance Index (RII) method. The top ten (10) most critical delay factors were mitigated in the second round of data collection with recommended actions proposed by experts using the Delphi Technique and the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method. The study results revealed the critical delay factors and their possible solutions. The list of delays affecting private financed building construction project in Cambodia was mainly dominated by the factors related to labor and material.

Companies all around the world have been attempting to grow through collaborative partnerships in recent years. International Construction Joint Ventures (ICJVs) have grown in popularity as the global construction industry integrates into a more dynamic economic environment. Due to the inherent complexities of ICJVs, featuring a plethora of management systems, different goals and organizational climates, cultural fit and communication act as the barriers for ICJVs. Furthermore, A comparative study would help to indicate what are the most common barriers for ICJVs in Myanmar. This research aims to identify the barriers to ICJVs in Myanmar and propose effective drivers to solve the barriers. Six in-depth case studies of ICJV projects were carried out through interviews with corporate executives, general managers, senior managers, project managers, and business managers who have acquired international experience and are directly involved in handling overseas construction projects to compare their perceptions. All interviewees had experience in International Joint Venture companies for at least 5 years. Data were collected from International Joint Venture projects currently having and used to have in Yangon, Myanmar for this research. The results suggest that the most common barriers to ICJVs in Myanmar construction industries include the political situation of Myanmar, Differences in organization policies among ICJVs contracting parties, lack of key employees, international business network, language and culture. The study found four more barriers associated with ICJV which were electricity price, land price, difficulty of proper banking transaction and unstable fluctuation of currency exchange. As a result, this research provides the establishment of specific knowledge of barriers for ICJVs in Myanmar.

A crowd is defined as a gathering of people in the same premises. When the number of people exceeds normal conditions, overcrowding becomes a concern in safety and health-related matters due to the risks that a large crowd can impose on the individuals present in the area. Crowd analysis is a growing trend in computer vision related to the concerns in crowd monitoring. To alleviate risks related to crowds, intelligent techniques applied to surveillance are used to analyze a crowd and to monitor its density and the behavior of people captured in footage. Through a systematic literature review of various papers published in the last five years related to crowd analysis, the numerous deep learning algorithms applied in past researchers are presented and are assessed to come up with a solution that will further aid in crowd management

Nowadays, more and more people believe blockchains enable transform our economies and societies fundamentally. Scientists discuss blockchain and its application from a technical perspective. This study explores the trends of blockchain research in the management and business domain by use of bibliometric and content analysis. Two hundred eighty-two articles retrieved from SSCI show the study in the area started in 2017 but grew exponentially. The most productive country is the US, China, and the UK. Four main research themes are identified, i.e., impact on business and innovation, impact on the financial industry, impact on operations and supply chains, and technological management. We found researcher's concern has shifted from conceptual explanations and descriptions at a macro-level to highlight specific implementation. Also, we found that the largest body of blockchain research is about the supply chains instead of the financial industry in the management and business domain.

This paper explores methods for building rapport between Culture orientation and TEFL against the background of Chinese culture. As language and culture are closely associated, by analyzing frequent cultural mistakes in TEFL, the author proposes some techniques, both from micro and macro aspects, to deal with these issues in a scientific way. The ultimate goal is to nurture students' cultural creativity in Chinese cultural context to equip them with the competence to acquire knowledge as well as to communicate in intercultural context.

The global pandemic and subsequent quarantine measures and restrictions have posed an array of challenges to the structure and procedure of the university summative assessment process. Qualification assessment for Foreign Languages major programs is a strict regimen that involves different stages (oral and written exams, final project viva, internal and external review). This paper presents a comprehensive case study analysis of the practices of the ICFAI Business School (Hyderabad, India) digital qualification assessment for students of European (English, French, Italian, Spanish, German) and Asian (Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Hindi) Languages major programs, employed in the year 2020 due to quarantine measures. The survey and analysis of soft skills and corresponding educational activities, ICT tools applied, and corresponding digital competencies implemented is used to assess the transformation of real-life qualification assessment practices into the online and hybrid formats. The investigation identifies various groups of applied digital skills and collaboration skills, utilized through the qualification assessment process by primary stakeholders (students).

The All Children with Disabilities Education Act, established by the United States Congress in 1975, was the first federal law in the history of the United States primarily directed at the education of children with disabilities. This is a major statute in the history of disability education in the United States, and its passage has fundamentally transformed the face of disability education in the United States. Since then, Congress has reauthorized and changed the legislation five times in response to the legislation's implementation and practical demands, with the goal of ensuring that all impaired children have the right to free and adequate public education. Individual education plans developed in collaboration with impaired children from birth to early adulthood, at each stage of development, to address the requirements of children with disabilities, are one of the most successful approaches to improve the quality of special education. It gives some valuable experience for China, which is in the midst of a critical moment of educational reform and growth. Based on the foregoing, and taking into consideration all children, including those with special educational requirements, This paper will design a teaching design for a section on curvilinear motion in high school physics in the Chinese Humanities version, using students with visual disabilities as examples, to investigate effective ways of using the core ideas of the IEP in the teaching and learning process of physics in general high school.
