Character education is a concept of educational goals that have been presented by Islamic education leaders for a long time, but in this era, it is increasingly being abandoned. One of them is al-Ghazali, his thoughts on education oriented to the character and morality of students have made a positive contribution to the realm of educational goals in general. The methodology used is library research, with a descriptive-qualitative approach. Several findings in the concept as outlined in his work Ayyuha al-Walad. This book reveals a lot of his advice to his students who asked for special notes as a provision for amaliyyah in his life. It turns out that the written advice contains a lot of messages in the form of characters that must be possessed and carried out by someone knowledgeable, a giver of knowledge, and a student of knowledge. these three subjects must have the ultimate goal of attaining faith and closeness to Allah.

Many madrasas provide inclusive education, but have not yet received formal legal recognition from the government. So that the operational process is not implemented optimally. Therefore, this study attempts to analyze the implementation of inclusive education in East Java with the locus of MI Badrus Salam Surabaya, MINU Miftahul Ulum 91 Plinggisan Kraton Pasuruan and MI Terpadu Ar-Roihan Malang. The three were chosen because they have received operational permits to provide inclusive education since 2016. The type of research used was qualitative-descriptive with data collection methods, namely participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. From this research, it can be concluded that: firstly, the implementation of inclusive education at MI Badrus Salam Surabaya, MINU Miftahul Ulum 91 Plinggisan Kraton Pasuruan and MI Terpadu Ar-Roihan Malang is very good in terms of learning curriculum and creating an inclusive friendly environment. In providing GPK with ABK ratio, only MI Terpadu Ar-Roihan Malang is ideal compared to 2 other madrasas. Second, inclusive education is very meaningful for stakeholders in the three institutions. This is evidenced by the maximum support from madrasa heads, teachers, the government (in this case the Ministry of Religion), the business world and the industrial world in implementing inclusion programs in madrasas.

Along with the development of technology and communication, during the Covid 19 pandemic, learning is carried out online. On the one hand, online learning has received appreciation from the community. On the other hand, a problem arises, where the learning substance is not absorbed properly. This study aims to analyze the use of google classroom media during the covid-19 pandemic in learning fiqh at SMAN Darussholah Singojuruh Banyuwangi for the 2020/2021 academic year. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the fiqh teacher at SMAN Darussholah had prepared learning tools such as lesson plans and syllabus before learning. In addition, the teacher created a google classroom, prepared learning materials and various tools for learning. Meanwhile, students read and understand the material, discuss together about the material discussed, and answer questions/questions that have been given by the teacher. In the evaluation, the teacher conducted a written test and made a video. So that learning is more optimal, the teacher must be professional, the appearance of the google classroom media is attractive, can be accessed anywhere. At the same time, there must be good communication between institutions and teachers and parents. This is intended so that there is continuity of fiqh learning outside school hours.

The idea of women's emancipation is a manifestation of Qasim Amin's concern about the reality of Egyptian women who are still far under the domination of men. This literature research attempts to analyze the thoughts of Qasim Amin – who is also an Egyptian reformer – in a broader perspective with relevant sources. Furthermore, the author evaluates his thoughts in the frame of modern Islamic education. This research finds that according to Qasim Amin, Egyptian women are no longer about their relationship with men, but also about sociological and independent rights as individuals who are already tied to traditional beliefs and patriarchal practices in the name of religion are fairly well established. From the thoughts of Qasim Amin, it will be directed to the problem of women in the world of education that is currently happening, where women are included or can make changes to the times. In the context of Islamic education, Qasim Amin's thoughts can develop democratic thinking by forming akhlaq al-karimah that is in accordance with the ability of reason and the context of universal humanity.

In general, pesantren prioritize Islamic religious knowledge over general subjects. This can be seen from the learning process that uses classical Islamic books, traditions and some of their activities. This study aims to analyze the new scheme of pesantren in Madura where the people are known to be thick with religious knowledge. This research is descriptive qualitative with the object of research is pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-Bata Pamekasan Madura. From this research, the writer sees that pesantren Mambaul Ulum – which is one of the big pesantren in Madura – is now showing its new face. The pesantren is now more dynamic, open, and capable of being the driver of the desired change. Although the pattern of change is sporadic, pesantren Mambaul Ulum Bata-bata has taken an agreement to maintain the pesantren tradition that has been built for a long time and follows the trends of the times and technology. The form of change emphasizes aspects of the education system, curriculum, learning patterns and so on. By implementing an integrated model of salaf and khalaf education, this pesantren is able to influence the surrounding community in developing Islamic education.

The dichotomy of Islamic education in general seems to be a significant difference and does not find common ground. So the purpose of this research is to bring together the education built globally by Ki Hadjar Dewantara with the integration of educational practices in Indonesia. The method of this research is to use hermeneutic research, that is to interpret the meaning of the motto initiated by Ki Hadjar Dewantara, namely Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madyo Mangun karso, Tut Wuri Handayani. While the results of this study are, the practice of implementing Islamic education in terms of the object of the actor such as teachers, students and other elements (ie alumni, boarding school administrators or senior students) is the direction and form of interpretation of the motto he initiated. The idea – which is also the slogan of the Ministry of Education – is an infrastructure that cannot be separated and is an educational building that is mutually sustainable. So that the construction of learning patterns, mindsets and habitual patterns of students or students needs to be inspired and applied in such a way as to continue to show a typical Indonesian education that prioritizes adab and knowledge.

Many researchers need to work hard to build the history of the Islamization of Madura so that it is fully structured. This is because facts have mingled with legend. Therefore, this study seeks to identify the Islamization of Madura with historical facts obtained from library and field data. The approach used in this research is qualitative with historical sociology perspective. The results of this study reveal that there are two paths to Islamization of Madura, namely the royal path and the path of the da'i or better known as Walisongo. The royal line necessitated that the Islamization of Madura was through the royal leaders and nobles. Because the kings are Muslim, their descendants follow Islam and are followed by the residents under them who also embrace Islam. Meanwhile, from the da'i line, the process of Islamization of Madura is a continuation of the mega project of Islamization of the Nusantara which was very massive between the 7th century to the 15th century. Both paths are strengthened by pesantren - as typical Islamic educational institutions of the Nusantara - which are spread throughout Madura.

Through Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning teachers and lecturers, the teaching profession has an equal place with other professions. However, there is actually a fundamental thing that is sometimes not realized, namely the prophetic value of the teaching profession. Therefore, this study seeks to describe and analyze the implementation of strengthening the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers based on prophetic values for PAI students at the Islamic Education Study Program, UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, along with the problems and impacts. This article is a qualitative research with rationalist and phenomenological approaches. This study found that, by implementing strengthening professionalism through prophetic values, learning objectives were easier to achieve and the quality of education was maintained. In the implementation process, several problems emerged that became obstacles, including: the scientific background of the lecturers, students' understanding of learning design, and supporting facilities. However, there are positive impacts from the implementation of the program, including: creating a pleasant learning atmosphere, developing cultural aspects of students, shaping the character of ideal teacher candidates, actualizing multicultural education, and trained students in implementing integrative learning. To be more optimal, it is important to always instill humanist values, such as tolerance, respect for the rights of others, and respect for diversity. More than that, the formation of the personality of a prospective teacher must be an agenda that is really prepared by the institution such as personality development.
