Work engagement has an important role in employees’ performance. By having good engagement, employees will have enthusiasm, sense of pride, and positive feelings towards their works, hence it will bring positive implications for employees’ work performance, which can increase their productivity. In this study, work engagement is viewed from the leaders’ role in delivering engaging leadership and examined using job insecurity as the moderator variable. This study also considers the conditions of Proximal Withdrawal States (PWS) that divide the employees into four groups: enthusiastic stayers, reluctant leavers, enthusiastic leavers, and reluctant stayers. Using the cluster random sampling technique, 378 employees had been selected to participate in the research. The data was processed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS. The results show that job insecurity serves as a moderator for the relationship between engaging leadership and work engagement only in the enthusiastic leavers group (p <.05, R2 = .883). Nonetheless, the role of engaging leadership in work engagement is proven to influence the employees in the enthusiastic leavers and enthusiastic stayers groups.

Individuals experience a condition of uncertainty when they are entering a new environment. In this study, the individuals will refer to freshmen or first-semester university students. When freshmen enter the university for the first time, they haven’t recognised each other, hence the condition of uncertainty will arise within them. These uncertainties are reduced by creating online and offline networks in which the members share the same experience. Networking will help individuals to decide whether they should end or continue their relationship with other members. This research point out a problem regarding how freshmen use network communication not only to reduce uncertainty but also the roles of actor within them. In the Uncertainty Reduction Theory, Charles Berger introduced the axiom of shared networks in developing relationship to reduce uncertainty. Individuals recognized each other, and decide whether they will maintain their relationship based on the communication network. By using qualitative approach combined with network analysis and interview method, the current research discovered the importance of dominant/central actor’s role in reducing the uncertainty in a network. The dominant actor will have the goal to distribute information, remind the urgency of an information, and help the implementation of the information. The research also concludes the importance of friendship in a smaller group in reducing uncertainty.

Social media is widely used among middle adolescents. For many middle adolescents, accesing social media has become a daily part of their normal life (Park and Lee, 2014). As a very popular social media throughout the world, instagram famous users are middle adolescents (Clement, 2019). Instagram has an impact on selfesteem, both on positive and negative, but the focus in this study are the negative impact given by Instagram on each individual that can cause someone to become addicted (Andreassen, 2015; Ryan, Chester, Reece, & Xenos, 2014). This study aims to determine the relationship between Instagram social media addiction to selfesteem in high school students. This study involved 87 high school students aged 15-18 years in Jakarta (14 male students and 73 female students). Data is collected using a Social Media Addiction Questionnaire and Selfesteem Scale. Spearman correlation test results are known to have a relationship r = -.234 and p = .029. So that the hypothesis of the relationship between Instagram social media addiction to self-esteem is accepted.

Information media in the form of a website as a promotional tool is very important and very helpful in marketing a service or a product on the internet. A good website is a website with an aesthetic and usability level so that it is harmonious and responsive and has a suitable user interface (not excessive). The old Raja Ampat Dive Resort website is less responsive, less attractive from the visual aspect, the information is not well organized and seems monotonous, making the users confused in finding and understanding the information provided. To achieve user satisfaction, the need for a UX / UI website design with a better information structure so that the level of satisfaction and inquisitive access is fulfilled makes the Raja Ampat Dive Resort website better. The UX / UI website design in this study uses the Design Thinking Process and the Principle of Beautiful Website, Jason Beaird. The result of the research is the prototype of the Raja Ampat Dive Resort website which is then tested (tested) during the 2019/2020 even semester Final Assignment Session.

Covid-19 has a big impact on the economy in Indonesia, including business people. After the end of the Covid-19 outbreak, the world will feel a profound change in various aspects, especially business. The application of digital technology is considered to be a thing that is obligatory to do. Driver partners are drivers who form a cooperative bond based on agreement and mutual need in order to increase capacity and capability in online transportation services. As time goes by driver partners have various interests that are not in line with company policy. There is a possibility that something will happen that can reduce the rating of driver partners performance that impacts service users and companies. This study aims to examine the role of work engagement as a mediator variable on the role of personality traits and the quality of work life on job performance. Based on the theory of Koopmans [1], job performance is a pattern of behavior and actions of employees that are relevant to company goals. This study uses job performance measurement tools from Koopmans [1], personality traits with Big Five Personality from Costa and McCrae [2], quality of work life from Walton [3], and work engagement with Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) from Schaufeli et al. [4]. The participants of this study were 1.359 driver partners spread across Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi, which were obtained using convenience sampling techniques. The research data was then processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using the Lisrel 8.80 program. The results showed that work engagement played a positive and significant role as a mediator in personality traits and the quality of work life on job performance. This shows that personality traits and the quality of work life that a person has when working in engage conditions, then have an impact on their job performance in completing work and organizing. Alila Solo Hotel is a 5-star hotel located in Laweyan, Solo, Central Java. The Hotel was designed by architect Budiman Hendropurnomo of Denton Corker Marshal. The basis of this research is how the implementation of Javanese culture combined with urban style design that became a tread mark of Alila Hotel. The research tries to understand the extent to which Javanese cultural philosophy is implemented on the interior physical and visual form of Alila Solo Hotel, by using the Post Occupancy Evaluation method. It is then seen from the material implementation, the shapes and colors on the space-forming elements and the space filler elements. The data collection techniques on this study were conducted by interviewing designers who are still actively working at the architecture consultant, Denton Corker Marshall as the hotel's interior designer and following the design process with several questions displayed in the form of narratives, schemes, and tables. Interview result with designer will be the reference as evaluation materials by obtaining user’s data through Focus Group Discussion process. The results of the evaluation obtained from user through questionnaires showed that 90% of visitors understood the implementation of Javanese culture at the Alila Solo, although packaged in a modern or urban style.
