In this work influence of weak ultrasound on process de-vulcanization a rubber crumbs of tyres waste has been investigated. Experiments were spent in stationary conditions in system bitumen - a rubber crumb of tyres waste. The process estimation de-vulcanization was carried out on changes of the temperature characteristics received as a result of ultrasonic processing, rubber-bitumen compositions. It is established that ultrasonic influence gives the chance fuller use of potential of a tyres waste, as source of caoutchouc. Researchers have shown efficiency of application of ultrasound for considerable improvement of physical-mechanical characteristics rubber-bitumen binding for the building materials maintained in the conditions of “a severe” climate.

In this paper developed system of automatic temperature control of the copper bromide generator based on microcontroller was described. Temperature deviations do not exceed ±1.5°C. Also there is an indication. The possibility of reprogramming a microcontroller makes the system “open”. And that allows to change the law of control for the optimal regime search.

In the paper proposed by the authors new approaches and practical realization of the control of vibration amplitude of the ultrasonic multi half-wave radiators being a part of ultrasonic devices of different purposes are considered. Developed bench for the control of multi half-wave radiators realizing in practice the advantages of several known methods provides the possibility of control of vibration amplitude at the development and operation of ultrasonic technological devices.

Results of research into the evolution of disperse characteristics and concentration of an aerosol during its sedimentation by high-frequency ultrasound, are reported herein. Plots of the aerosol particles concentration versus time are given. The impact of ultrasonic vibrations on a medium-sized aerosol is shown to considerably accelerate its sedimentation due to the particle coagulation. The insertion of an additional dispersed phase (water droplets into a solid-phase aerosol) accelerates the sedimentation as well.

Broadband electro-optic intensity modulators widely used in optical communication lines today. These modulators are used to transform the electrical high frequency signal to the optical signal. The most important characteristics of these devices are the electro-optical bandwidth, the modulation efficiency, the extinction on/off, the chirp, as well as other parameters that characterize the high frequency response of the modulator. This paper presents the results of numerical simulation of the electrical parameters of the modulators for optical communication lines by using different electrode structures and modulator construction generally.

The article is devoted to the design of piezoelectric vibrating system providing transformation of longitudinal vibrations of the transducer into radial vibrations of welding instrument made in the form of diverging cone, on the external surface of which at the part of larger diameter cylindrical working surface is made. The presence of cylindrical working surface at the provision of rotation of vibrating system allows to carry out continuous welding of list and film thermoplastic materials. The design on the base of mathematical modeling and experimental studies of produced constructions let develop vibrating system providing ultrasonic influence with the amplitude of no less than 30 μm, if the diameter of radiating surface is 92 mm and its width is 4 mm.
